Fighting the Good Fight : Book 3 The Flawed but Faithful Series

Rate this book
Sometimes the weight of love is too heavy.

Khara comes home with the love of her life. They met on the campus of their HBCU and married after graduation. She is excited to formally introduce Chris to her family. Chris is a man sent from heaven.
He is fine.
He is saved.
He loves to worship.
He was a star football player.
He loves her like Christ loved the church.
He pledged to the same fraternity as her grandfather.
He is white.

Her grandparents are ready to pray down fire and brimstone. To them Khara’s relationship goes against every principle they taught her and her sister after their mother’s death. Khara is forced to decide between what God has put together and what her church-going family wants. If God loves everybody, can Khara and Chris love each other?

Fighting the Good Fight is the third book in the Flawed but Faithful series. Each book can stand alone or be enjoyed in order.

WOW!

This story is as entertaining and edifying as author She Nell intended. I love Khara and Chris’s story. Can’t wait to see the rest of their story. Sara made me sad and a little angry. Grandma and neighbor “Karen” wore me out, they were both out of control most of the time. I definitely recommend this story to other readers.

Fighting the good fight book 3

This is the flawed but faithful series continuation . Khara is home with her husband Chris, upon arriving home her grandpa and grandma was so upset with her. Khara getting married without inviting her family, and never finish her medical degree that they paid for. but after talking with the pastor of her family church , he advise Khara to talk to her grand parents and tell them their plan. Khara and Chris plan to do missionary in Costa Rica for 1 yr before going back to medical school. Khara and Chris made friends that they assist in an accident, Jade and Devin were husband and wife , Jade was 6 mths pregnant and went into labor at Khara send off party . unfortunately the baby died which put Devin and Jade into depression . Good read now going to find out how Jade and Devin find God and love …

Fighting

The two 'secrets' that Khara and Chris were withholding from family were no surprise to me. I didn't like the way they handled the news despite anticipating the reception it would get.
The grandparents were mean and hypocritical; they should have cut the apron strings on Sara and Khara long ago and kept them lifted to God.
This installment didn't measure up to the first two, in my opinion. It wasn't cohesive and the ending was rushed. I'll finish the series though.

Another Page Turner!

This storyline is very real. People need to realize that God loves us all, no matter the color of our skin. When we get to heaven, there will be no separation due to our skin color. We are all God's children.I really enjoyed reading this. You keep on fighting the good fight, She Nell!!

Following Gods well

This story was really good to me. I married someone who was 13 years older then me. Not let anyone block what God had put together is scary but is so rewarding. We just had our 13 wedding Anniversary. To God we give the glory

Not my favorite of the series. Joshua and Hannah were over the top. The speedy "reconciliation" between Sophia and Rue was unbelievable. I loved the fact that we were able to hear Rue's voice, but I think the story line as a whole was unbelievable.

Where Love Begins

The story of Christian and Khara explores that love transcends stereotypes. We all have preconceived thoughts of how love should look. Families play a major part of that. Their respective families handled their love quite differently. Ultimately, it was loving the individual that would translate to showing love to a union.
