Intrusive Detecting: A Novel

Rate this book
Chris Campo, a 27-year old hair salon owner is found murdered in the closet of her Reno apartment. A few months later, Sally Quirk, a well-known, 55-year old construction defects attorney, commits suicide in the bathtub of her Las Vegas home. According to information available in the media, neither of these deaths was ever fully explained. Mark Almond, a retired foreign service officer, reads about each case and realizes that Chris was his barber and Sally his attorney. Although there is no other apparent connection between the two women, Mark decides to write a story about each of them to discover why these tragic deaths of two women he knew were so inconclusively investigated and never really resolved. Little did he know what might result from his inquisitiveness.
