The book I read was Roberto Clemente: The Young Ball Player by Mondrew Dunham. The main character in my story is Roberto Clemente who is a young Hispanic boy who drew up in Puerto Rico. He works hard on his fathers sugarcane fields and in baseball. He lives in a poor country and does not have expensive things. He plays baseball with a stick and tin cans. His hard work pays off and he joins a MLB team known as the Pittsburgh Pirates. He plays baseball but also helps out in society. However, later in his life he is on a mission to help the need when his life ends in a tragic way.

I really like this book because I enjoy baseball and I think that his life is very interesting. I like reading biographies, however I am only interested in reading them about people that influence and are important to me.

I think that people who enjoy baseball books and are interested in the history of players should read this book about Roberto Clemente. These books can teach a lot about history and are very important.

The book Roberto Clemente is a story about a Hall of Fame Baseball player. In the story Roberto Clemente is a boy who loves to play baseball and can't stop playing it. This passion of his leads him to a successful Major League Baseball career and life with a wife and kids. The setting of his childhood is in his native country of Puerto Rico. Then his adulthood took place in the United States of America traveling across the country playing Major League Baseball for the Pittsburg Pirates. A major event in this story is when it talks about his surprising death delivering supplies to Puerto Rico after they were struck by an earthquake. His plane's motor was failing and didn't make it back to where they had launched from and him and the rest of the crew on board had died. I like this story because it was very interesting and enjoyable.
