Restoring Healthy Masculine-Feminine Dynamics in Modern Relationships

Over the last 100 years, the strength and quality of the family unit has eroded away rapidly as we have shifted away from the spiritual principles behind Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine Energy.

This book was a let down.

It talks about:
1. The difference between the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine.
2. What wounded versions of the above look like.
3. The importance of healing these energies within.

These 3 ideas were repeated ad nauseum and stretched across 147 pages. The entire book could have been summed up in fewer than 300 words.

There is no 'How To' except for one sentence that advises you to pray, meditate, do yoga and get therapy. What kind? Who knows? Mr. El-Malik certainly won't tell you.

Don't get me wrong, this book is based on wisdom. It is wisdom that I wish my 18 year old self had received and accepted. But here lies the catch. It only makes sense when you've lived long enough to have experienced life's hard knocks. I found myself nodding along with many of the observations, because I knew they were true. Did I learn anything new though? Nope.

Interestingly, the book echoed key principles of the Female Dating Strategy.

I’m sorry but what the…

This book basically ties spirituality back to traditional views of men being in the lead and having a purpose. Guess what women’s purpose is? To follow the man and have BABIES. Seriously wtf.

When are we going to move on and evolve and realise that the world is changing and our relationships are evolving too. It’s so one-dimensional to ONLY recognise a relationship between MAN and WOMAN. And also to see the man’s only purpose as provider and woman’s purpose as caregiver.

My mind is just WTF all over. I’m really wondering if all these 5 star reviews are all just fake. Jesus Christ almighty.

good explanation for ideas that have been commonly misunderstood

Wow! I love this very quick read and how the author explains concepts in terms of energy.
I think a lot of other ways people try to explain these concepts only focus on one dimension- but these are universal laws at play… which helps create a level of abstraction that we don’t get “on the ground”.

Terrible. Talks about men taking a dominate role over women, just like the old days. Talks over and over about making babies. It’s an easy quick read that is more archaic than anything. Waste of time.

Good read.

Good read. Opened up my eye to the realities of masculine and feminine energies, understanding their roles and purpose. Recommend.
