I am a housewife with a gambling husband.

Michael is a millionaire blast from the past.

Could he be my future?

People make mistakes—that much was clear to me since the day I got married. And now that divorce is on the cards, my old flame Michael swoops into my life again, hotter and richer than ever.

One steamy night and I’m ready to be his forever. Not only that, I’m determined to follow my dreams and replace my old, suffocating life with open roads and freedom, all to save a trucking company I co-own with my ex.

There’s just one problem: both Michael and I have a past that is threatening to tear us apart. I don’t want to lose him, but can I keep our love even though the odds are against us?

Trigger warnings: Domestic violence, miscarriage, steamy scenes, strong language

It's taken me forever to read this one and I'm so so sorry for that! Glad I've finally read it! Such a sweet story (is it weird that Michael is my late uncles name and Linda is my aunts name? lol) But seriously I love Michael he is is so good to Linda and helps her so much through all that she is going through. There is some trigger warnings in here but I don't want to spoil anything! Please take a chance and read from Anna Lena Milo looking forward to more books hopefully!

Love this sweet love story. Always liked the boy and girl who are freinds but actually felt more and are able to rekindle their friendship and love. It was easy to follow the multiple viewpoints and gave you an insight into all the main characters. For a debut novel, it was very well put together, and the story was lovely.

The storyline has potential.

While you can see in your mind’s eye, where the author is trying to take you and the potential for a very good book, I have to say that there needed to be quite a bit more world building as well as either or both a developmental editor or a grammar and syntax editor.
Yes, I took into account that this is a first time author and also English was not the first language; hence giving the third star.
The storyline was fun and the book has a fast pace and with a bit more work it will be really worth the authors efforts.
I do look forward to watching this author grow.

Linda and Jack have been married and Linda always believed she had the perfect marriage. Her father approved and things have been good. That is until her father dies and things begin to reveal themselves.

Her old high school friend Michael comes to town to pay his respects. Something Jack isn't the least bit happy about. A couple weeks later, she learns her husband is a compulsive gambler with sizable debts that threaten her home and family business. Did she ever really know him?

When she ends up in the hospital, a visit from Michael, who gives her a shoulder to cry on. And a friend to get her through the divorce. He's also the one to make her realize she's stronger than she thought she could be. Strong enough to make her dreams reality. Michael also realizes maybe his dreams and desires can come true as well.

The story is Anna's first and she paints a great picture. Great characters and a really good second chance romance. I look forward to reading more of her future work.

Today's coffee was served with the book "Never Say Never" by Anna Lena Milo, which is a captivating second-chance romance novel that follows Linda, a housewife who discovers her husband's gambling addiction and her old flame Michael, a millionaire, who re-enters her life at the right time.

Linda's life is turned upside down when she learns about her husband's addiction and debts. Michael steps in to provide support and helps Linda realize her inner strength to follow her dreams and save her family business. The chemistry between Linda and Michael is palpable and the author portrays their emotions beautifully.

The characters are well-developed and the plot is engaging, with the right amount of drama and romance. The story is relatable as it deals with themes such as second chances, trust, and self-discovery.

Overall, Never Say Never is an excellent debut novel by Anna Lena Milo. It is a heartwarming story about overcoming obstacles, following your dreams, and finding love in unexpected places. Fans of second-chance romances will thoroughly enjoy this book.

Great storyline

I loved the storyline and plot. Michael is just adorable and I loved watching his and Linda’s relationship grow. The only negative I have which I was I didn’t rate this 5 starts is that I feel the storyline and plot twists could of been done in a little more detail. The overall story was there but there were just parts of the storyline that could of been expanded - which would of given the story a whole other dimension.

This book was so cute. At first I didn’t feel the chemistry but then I totally did. I couldn’t put down. Finished in like 4 hours. (Darn kids) I would definitely recommend to anyone.
