Severus/Hermione “I want Granger,” he said sullenly. “At least, Granger won’t muck up the brewing, she’s more competent than the lot of you."
The summer before her sixth year, the Order asks Hermione to help out with the brewing Professor Snape has to do over the summer. The only thing is, she’ll be stuck in secret at 12 Grimmauld Place, all alone with her Professor to avoid any scandalous rumours.
Interesting premise with heavy focus on Grimmauld's sentient presence. Liked it, but wished it was longer and that the H had been out of school before they got together.
Of all SS/HG I’ve read, this was by far the most unsettling one. The awful mood in the house when Hermione was alone at Grimmauld was tangible, and the POV of the house was immensley creepy.
