I came across this book in a search for library books. The title seems decent and reads as "self-help" yet as I opened the first chapter and reading through the short chapters, it seems to read like it is to help herself. Most of it is written in first person, what she went through and testimonial, yet I am trying to figure out how she is helping someone else from sabotaging their relationships? I see very little advice or resources to help someone. It is definitely written as a conversational style to the reader, but I just feel it was written to help her. Surface level. Some scriptures. Journal writing at the end of the chapter(s). She has written a little but about a client, unsure if she is a life coach or some type of counselor in that section (what is her role?).
I will see how it finishes and so far is an okay read. On Hoopla, she has three 1 star ratings of which means they did not like it. She advertises her program in the conclusion, also her other published books at the end.
Okay, chapter 6 hit the target, on the mark, and was pretty good. I like the quote at the end of the chapter too: Good attracts good. Being positive, attracts positive energy and positivity as a whole. This positive vibrational force will attract positive experiences. I agree since I stick to "positivity on purpose".
This is the 3rd or 4th book I've read by this author and just like the previous ones I thoroughly enjoyed it in it's entirety. The message was smoothly conveyed, I felt as if she knew me and this was a face go face ongoing conversation. Thank you Raine, may God continue to bless you and use you to bless others in their personal development.
