Club Avalon #6

Fly for Me

Rate this book
The boy who was bullied became a Master.

William Carradine spent his childhood as the main target of brutal beatings and homophobic slurs - not all of them from his classmates. He knows what it is to be different, to be so far apart from society's definition of normal that it scares people to be around him, and yet his only sin is being bisexual.

Known as the Viking Master in Club Avalon, he rarely gets a chance to play. For the past two years, he's watched his friends, one by one, find their submissive and fall in love--including his best friend, Boadicea, and his boss, Braun.

When opportunity comes calling, Liam is hesitant to answer, too used to rejection to open his heart again, but his destiny isn't in commanding one submissive, but two.

But two subs means double trouble...

Fly for Me is Liam’s story and I have been patiently waiting for him to get his one! Sierra enters Master Liam’s world in an unconventional and sad way. His urge to protect and avenge for her are unparalleled. Wyatt ins rats himself into this couple’s relationship and he complicates the situation.
Kay Elle Parker has written a beautiful story about a trio that is trying to balance their lives and make this dynamic work.
Breathtaking story!

conflicted

I’m very conflicted about this story.

Pros:
•Liam
•The friend group scenes
•the sex science
•it was well written
•Liam and Sierra’s love

Cons

**this will have spoilers**

•It just felt casually cruel to keep harping on how ugly and disgusting Sierra was. Literally the only nice thing anyone ever said about her was that she had pretty eyes and pretty hair. Everything else was describing to us how unattractive she was.
•In that same vein, Wyatt wasn’t even really sexually attracted to her! He went on and on about how she was fat and ugly and she grossed him out. Her personality even got on his nerves!! I never actually believed he loved her. By the end it seems more like he learned to be nice and treat her right…but mostly because he wanted Liam.
•I’m still stuck on the issues with Sierra and Wyatt. They just don’t go together. She doesn’t trust him (with good reason!!) and he’s not attracted to her and the only reason they’re in a relationship now is because of Liam. It’s just not believable.

I wanted to like this book more. I LOVE mmf books and was so excited, I just think I failed to connect with it. I will give this author another try though, because books are like kinks. Just because it wasn’t my cup or tea doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good cup of tea 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just means I’d rather drink a Coke! Haha I think I’ll try Jasper and Anarchy’s book and see if it’s more my style.

WOW!!!
I expect nothing but the best from every one of Ms Parker's books and she never disappoints!
But this one blew me away.
The way she narrates the thought processes and the consequent actions and reactions of her players is always fascinating, but this time I had the feeling one of them was especially close to her heart.
And she paired them with two characters that are strong and vulnerable, damaged but salvageable.
Add to that the ever growing hard core of the Avalon crew and you have - again - a story that will stay with you for quite some time; absolute re- and re-read stuff!
Oh, and let me not forget the absolutely hilarious ladies night! Precious!

I loved this then I didn’t. I have loved Liam throughout the series. I loved him here till he brought Wyatt in. I know redemption and changing and second chances but he was beyond jerk and he only changed to get Liam. Sierra is way too forgiving. I just couldn’t get past him. I thought Liam was selfish to bring him in. Just couldn’t get past what he did.

It was a five star read except for Wyatt.

Liam is feeling left out of the circle of his friends who have all found somebody when he finds Sierra. Sierra is a lovely woman who has a skin condition that make her an oddity in everybody's mind as well as her part time lover Wyatt. When Wyatt hides her in the bushes outside Avalon and she is fou d out by Maste Liam, there is a price to pay for Wyatt. Liam nutures the woman and will try to make her whole along with him and Wyatt. What started as an oddity will soon turn into so much morw for all. Spellbinding, emotionally charged. story that will pull on your heartstrings and leave wil you with a warm fuzzy feeling in the end. I can't wait to see what these doms have i store for us next.

I honestly don't know how to review this without spoiling it. Ms. Parker's Club Avalon stories have become some of my favorites of all time and I've been waiting for Master Liam's turn. The author doesn't disappoint as she has written a beautiful, gut wrenching story. We are introduced to Wyatt and Sierra but things are not good between them. With Sierra's medical problems, the way Wyatt was treating her made me so mad that I wanted Liam to "take care" of him, but as the story goes on, we find out more about him. What's that? Liam with TWO submissives? Oh heck yeah!! Things go slowly for all three and as usual, Ms. Parker kept me on the edge of my seat. I could NOT put this book down. Will Wyatt change his ways? Will Sierra finally believe in herself enough to stand up to the bullying and disrespect she's dealt with all her life? Does Liam really want two subs? Oh, how I loved this story and it has become my favorite! As usual, I love seeing all my favorites from the first 5 books and how they are really one big family. This story touched me deeply and I think it will touch you also. Get your crying towel out or have a box of tissues handy! You're going to need them!!!!

I have to admit, it has taken me a couple of weeks after reading to write this review. I loved the book and really enjoyed it. I like 2 of the 3 main characters. But, I had all kinds of feeling about Wyatt. I had to take some time to calm down over him.

Liam is lonely because all his friends have found love, but then a gorgeous man walks into the club, orders a drink, and then sneaks it outside. Liam likes the way the guy looks, and he could be attracted to him. He goes outside and finds Sierra, hiding in the dark. She has some issues that make her not want to be seen by anyone, and Wyatt brought her to the club, but made her wait outside for him, in the cold and dark. But Liam found her and is just attracted to her.

I found Wyatt to be a pretty awful human being for a lot of the book. I hate the way that he treated and treats Sierra. I'm sure that he is a decent human being to other people, and Liam obviously sees something good there.

I really enjoyed watching Sierra's journey to become who she is. Liam was so good for her, and he gave her a lot of power in herself and in her relationship, and she really thrives. Liam really becomes her support and foundation to let her grow. I loved that for her.

I'm so happy that Liam gets to be happy, he really deserved it. He's such a sweet man.

I knew I wanted Liam's story and I knew it would be good but honestly, this book completely, 100% percent wrecked me in the best way possible. I truly don't know when (or IF!) my emotions and heart will recover. The amount and intensity of the emotions that this book inspired in me is colossal! You are going to get bombarded with the good, the bad and yes, even the ugly; so, I highly recommend you have your beverage of choice and plenty of tissues on hand when you settle in to read this book. While there is no doubt that Liam, Sienna and Wyatt's story held me fiercely in its grip, how I felt about each of these characters, their relationships and the evolutions that those relationships went through were so much more challenging and complex. I mean I adored Sienna and my heart ached for her and Liam was totally hot and swoon worthy. However, I was initially very anti-Wyatt and firmly believed he richly deserved one serious...thumping. So yeah, believe me when I warn you that you can expect to feel all the feels as this story unfolds. This is my volitional, objective review.

I have conflicted emotions about this book, liked Liam and Sierra, and the story, but I didn't like wyatt, not at all, I'm not sure, have I fell about, Sierra forgives him, or that he became a part of the family, hence the conflicted emotions, since I liked the rest, I give it 3 stars.

I have never, in my life have had such a range of emotions reading a book before now. Fly For Me by Kay Elle Parker had a profound impact on me, and I believe this feeling will stay with me for a very long time. This book has a lot going on in it, and the fun keeps going until the very last page. I've been waiting for Master Liam's story for a while to be told, and boy, Kay did not disappoint! One of the main characters, Sierra struggles with a physical disability, and she has a great deal of self-esteem issues. As someone who also struggles with their self-esteem, I definitely can relate to Sierra. It was very nice to have read about a person who is differently-abled, and who can find the strength to claim their spot in this world, and find love.

I have to mention Wyatt. At the beginning of this story, I did not like him at all! However, Kay did what she does best, and wrote a fantastic character arc for him. By the end of the story, I was definitely rooting for Wyatt.

So yes, I would highly, highly recommend Fly For Me to anyone who wants to read it. If I could, I would give it 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Emotional Episode in this Series!!

Life is never easy. This author brings us into the depths of despair, then adds a character who needs help. Somehow the impossible becomes life itself as tangled relationships and intolerable situations morph into the most beautiful coming together of two (or three) people.

Liam has been a core of Avalon. He has watched the others find their “one”. He hasn’t engaged in the clubs activities for months. When new member Wyatt comes into the club, there is interest, but Wyatt breaks a cardinal rule and gets a 30-day ban. He also leaves his “girlfriend” Sierra out in the dark and cold. In this case literally and figuratively. Sierra has some issues which cause others to shy away from her – so now she hides herself. Liam sees past that exterior to the kind heart that beats within.

The entire cast of characters is still in residence, but this new duo, then trio is absolutely stunning. An incredible read!

This is Liam's aka the Viking Master's story. Boy, it's a doozy! After he comes across Sierra, he's decided she's worth much more than looks. Enduring some physical imperfections and heart- ache, Sierra can't believe she deserves the care and attention of the handsome Liam and just wants to hide away from everyone else. There has been great emotional pain caused by Wyatt and to a lesser degree, others who just see her imperfections. Sierra's story is painfull and will pull you in, with the understanding and care Liam has to share with the lovely but different big hearted Sierra. This book will make you feel all the emotions and pain that being different can generate. All Liam wants Sierra to remember is to Breathe, Relax and Trust. Tap, Tap, Tap! I won't bring Wyatt into Sierra's growth, I just didn't like him much.

This is Liam, Sierra, and Wyatt’s story. And what an emotional ride it was. This author has a way of building a world that you can feel, characters that seem real and that you can’t help but love or maybe even hate sometimes. Some are redeemable and others you want to see suffer (spoiler alert-you’ll see both in this sensation inducing rollercoaster ride). The old characters bring a smile to your face and you never want to finish their stories. Each couple/throuple will embed themselves inside your heart, never letting go. I cannot rec this series enough.
Edited to add: I saw a review mentioning how Sierra’s “flaws” could be fixed and I wanted to address that in my review. First off, not once at any point while reading did I consider her medical issue a “flaw”. The reviewer stated that it could have easily been treated. Well, that’s not the point of the story at all. The point IS that she deserves someone (or 2) that love her the way she is. Not because she went and had things done to make her more perfect in the eyes of society. I’m just saying that I’d rather have someone love me for me than to go change who I am and then have them notice me. Not to mention the characters usually show up in each book so how does said reviewer know that Sierra won’t eventually get treatment? That just rubbed me the wrong way and I wanted to address it myself.

I got a bone to pick with this one.
Like. A huge bone.

I was very hopeful when the heroine was introduced. Hot girl with a beard? I'm into it. Second sub to make it poly? Into it. Selfish prick--with a back history of ten years of bullying heroine--who has a sudden turnabout in two months? Absolutely not. I mean. I get that Liam's the instrument of change, and that he was what the two subs needed in order to knit together. But the levels of intolerance that CONTINUE to be exuded from this third character are WILD.
After his 'change of heart'--this is his outlook on the female lead; "I’m trying my best to overlook her physical imperfections, to show her how I feel." ....that's like, the biggest red flag. He doesn't find her flaws part of the fabric of her personhood, he's 'overlooking' physical attributes, and that's so UGH.

So no. I don't think this one was brought around well. Simply because the timeline for change was ridiculous, but also
the type of change felt like a platitude. Yes, I realize that people can be ready for change and hate themselves into action--but the depth of treatment to the female lead is tawdry at best, so the mindset didn't truly shift and to me it felt like he was just putting up with her to get to a future with Liam.

This one's the first 'oomph' I've experienced with these books. It was swing, and I felt like it had promise--but the previous history between two of the characters made this plot fail, in my opinion.

Good luck!

This story was so worth waiting for. I have always liked Liam and wondered how his story would come out, and this was sooo sooo good. I have enjoyed every book so far in the Avalon Club book series so far. Im looking forward to the next one.
Liam tends the bar at Avalon Club and works hard, never taking a break and is always there for his friends. However his friends know he needs a break,he doesnt scene with anyone anymore and just dosnt look at any subs, the warning is there from his friends. However shortly after his friends discussion two people come into his life. He meets Wyatt at the bar, interest lights up, he keeps an eye on Wyatt discovering that he is taking a drink to someone outside. What he discovers outside is Sierra.
Sierra is beautiful outside and on the inside, only she dosnt see that. She has hair growing on her face and on her body, a rare condition, people make fun of her and Wyatt cant even look her in the eyes while making love. But it takes one Sadist, Master Liam to open her eyes.
Wyatt has been given one months suspencion from the club, can he turn around his life for the better. Master Liam certainly has his hands full with both these subs. Can he handle them both and love them both.

This story really is an experience to read, this author has done such a wonderful job, the characters are so heartfelt and moving. I also love the fact that the other subs and masters in this story are like an extended family to all.

Fly For Me is book six of the Club Avalon series of interconnected standalones. I love that we get to see the couples from the previous books play a large role in this book. That is one thing that makes this series stand out to me. This is a group of friends, and found family that is always there for one another in any situation.

I have been waiting for Liam’s story since the first book. He is such a caring dom and friend and he deserves to be happy! When he finds Sierra hiding outside of the club he instantly feels protective of her even though he just met her. She doesn’t feel comfortable in social settings and Liam helps her with making true friends and with her self esteem. Wyatt is in a category of his own. I still don’t know if I like him or not. He has a lot of groveling to do to make up for the way he treated Sierra! But I won’t deny that the chemistry between these three is explosive!

This book had me in all my feelings…I was sad, happy, excited, and pissed off at times. This is a book that will stick with me for a long time that’s for sure! I can’t wait for Loki’s story and to hopefully get some answers about the situation with Jaspers parents!

Yet again, this author has blown me away with another incredible story in this fantastic series! My heart is full and I can’t even describe the emotions floating thru me! This time we read about Liam, one of the Masters at Avalon. Liam has held a special place in my heart from the very beginning. He’s described as a Viking God and is very loyal to his Avalon family, yet he is missing a special someone, or someone’s in his life. So when he meets both Sierra and Wyatt one night he is unsure of his feelings for both. They have a connection, but is it a good one? Who is Wyatt to Sierra? And why is Sierra so shy and withdrawn? Liam has an instant attraction to her and feels fiercely protective of her. Will Sierra let him into her life? And what about Wyatt, can she trust him?

The intensity between the three of them is like nothing I have read before, not to mention their chemistry! Absolutely smoking hot! Wyatt is not exactly the best person and has a lot to redeem, and I hoped throughout that he would prove himself to be worthy of both Liam and Sierra. It was interesting to read about his evolvement. As for Sierra, where do I start? She is so endearing. I just wanted to reach thru the pages and hug her and become her friend. Her character is unique and when you read this story, you will know exactly why I love her. Liam is ingrained in my heart and soul, he is just utter perfection.

As in usual fashion the characters from the other books are interspersed throughout and rightfully so. They are one big family who love and protect each other fiercely. If ever there was a series you should read, it’s this one. And this book is the perfect addition! Truly a brilliant read!

Liam has been a favorite since book one, even though I have to skip his name as I read, lol. Personal reasons people!
Sierra is stronger and more forgiving then I could ever be, I think there would have been some kind of payback if it was me, nair or mayo in the shampoo or something 😂
That's the good thing about fiction, I can get lost in the story, even if the arrogant, insecure Dom wannabe is a big part of it. Wyatt had a lot to over come in my mind but this was so well written I even believed there could be a HEA for everyone. Loved seeing the ladies again and watching the way they've connected to their Doms and gotten stronger and more confident
I just love visiting this club, would probably even venture into it in real life, which says a lot since I don't people well !!
And all joking aside, this was heartbreaking and beautiful. Not an issue I've thought about and it made me think.
Definitely a 5 star read for me.

I have been waiting for Liam's book for...forever...and Kay Elle Parker did not disappoint. Master Liam is really and Sierra. Sierra has a nontraditional beauty, physically she is not "ideal", but her heart is pure gold and Master Liam sees it and brings her out of her shell of course. The problem is that Wyatt is one of the main reasons that she has retreated into that shell. I loved to hate him at first, he was such an a$@, and he treated Sierra like a throw-away "friend" with benefits. The fact that Liam decided to take him on as a sub, as well as Sierra, baffled me...but it turned out well in the end. I love that the author includes the other characters from the series into each book and builds on their relationships. I can only hope that she continues the series, with more from Master Liam and his 2 subs as I feel that there could be much more storyline here.

Kay Elle Parker has written a book that will stick with me. Liam, Sierra and Wyatt are all damaged in their own way, but when Liam lets his guard down long enough to take both Sierra and Wyatt on as subs, the Viking Master will get so much in return, including the return of his broken heart. I will have these characters circling in my head for some time, and I'm here for it. While it is part of a series, and characters from previous books make appearances, it may be read as a standalone. Do yourself a favor, though, and read the series in order. It's even better that way. This is 100% a five star read and so worth the one click.

I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I love the Club Avalon books! I have been patiently waiting for Liam's story and it did not disappoint! Kay Elle Parker has another absolute hit on her hands.
Liam has watched all of his friends fall in love and find their one. Seeing everyone find happiness is not easy for him to deal with when he is still reeling from his last break up. Then one night he finds a shy, withdrawn beauty alone in the cold outside the club and she sparks something deep inside him. Throw in the added wrench of her so called friend and you have the beginning of a beautiful story. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I don't even know what to say it is that good, it's hot, raw and written with so much emotion you will feel every single word down to your very soul. I cheered, cried and wanted to hug them all, they have the biggest hearts and will consume you and suck you in.

I love love this world and Master Liams story is beyond anything I was prepared for. Just his words alone will melt you in a great big puddle of need, respect and love. All unique and troubled in their own way and just want to feel and be accepted. I LOVED IT !!!!

This story was everything written to perfection and I mean perfect my heart is so full right now I don't know what to do next. I truly loved it.

(No major spoilers, just minor mentions of certain story details.) This was a 5 star read for me. I loved getting to visit Avalon again, I truly love the interactions between all the previous couples, getting to visit them again, it's one of my favorite things about this series, getting check-ins with everyone and advancements in their stories/relationships.

There were some things I would have liked to see more of/ delved into more completely, and I didn't fully buy into Wyatt's turnaround, but I still loved this story. I have an immune related condition, and I would have liked to have seen how the triad handled a full on flare, but I loved seeing how Sierra grew. I loved Liam's dominance and caretaking.

I absolutely love this series. Each book is unique and always has a very large emotional journey that I go on, ups an downs, and dips and valleys. Kudos for attacking a topic that might be taboo or very hard for some people to read about. I'd never heard of it and am very glad that I have now knowledge on it and what the condition is. Atticus, as always, is on point, mountains in a range, not all alone, people only see what they want to see, low vs high points, a litter of puppies, stuffies. An absolute pleasure to be able to read this book, chapter and series. You won't be disappointed.

Liam has watched everyone around him meet and fall in love but he is still alone and miserable until one day he stumbles into Sierra. From there starts a journey of love and acceptance. This is an MMF book but that dynamic doesn't enter into the story until about halfway through. Kay writes a detailed story that gives you characters with backgrounds and tons of growth. This is not a short book, so be ready to dig in and get lost in a good book.

This story is part of a series but can be read as a standalone and has a HEA. You meet the previous characters and they are woven into the story in a way that doesn't feel forced but you don't need to have read their stories to enjoy this one.

Thank you to Ms Parker for an absolutely emotional cry fest that I haven’t had for a while as she takes me back to Avalon for Liam’s story as he finds his HEA with Sierra and Wyatt..
Liam’s mental health had hit rock bottom with all his attention was on the club taking up his time leaving him with no desire to play and watching all his close friends find their partners in love, but when Wyatt a new member comes to the club with an attitude and actions that piques Liams interest, he follows Wyatt only to discover Wyatt’s friend Sierra hiding outside the club…
Sierra story is a highly emotional one as she battles a daily war with skin conditions, low self esteem and bullying (even by her so called friend Wyatt) but when she meets Liam who takes her inside the club and under his care, he brings feelings of hope and acceptance that she has been missing through out her life…
But even with Wyatt as I got to know his back story my animosity towards him changed to accepting his personal journey and I found myself falling for the trio as they figure out their relationship workings….
I absolutely loved the reading the masters and mistress as they come together to accept their new members and for that I can’t wait to be back at Avalon…

Sizzling Bdsm MMF Romance

Fly For Me is a delicious page-turner that both melts your heart and your panties 😊The characters are well developed and we get to explore their personalities in depth. Sierra is amazing in her vulnerability and her quiet strength. Ms Parker laid out quite a challenge with Wyatt, but even he shows a redeemable nature. I highly recommend this book and series.

I loved this book so much! I like how you don't realize until almost the rest of the Masters that Liam is having a rough time. And I loved getting to read things from his point of view. He has been a bit more of a mystery for me the rest of the Masters and their subs. And getting to find out how he thinks and see him get his happy ending is so great. And I also loved the sub's story. Having these three together made for such a great story! I really love all the Avalon characters and these were such great characters to add to the group and give Liam his happiness!

Book 6 in the series and it features Liam.
What I love about this series is that all the characters aren’t picture perfect. They all have scars on the outside and inside and they suffer from trauma or medical conditions, but they all accept each other and for a family.

I loved Liam and Sierra together and how he accepted Sierre right from the start. I am still not sure about Whyatt. I felt he really didn’t fit with them and I wasn’t sure he changed that much.

My favorite scene from the book was the girls night, it was just so funny. I could picture it happening.

Wonderful story. Been waiting for Liam’s story.

This book is as good if not better than the rest of the series. Showing once again it’s not what’s on the outside that counts but what’s on the inside.
