If you guys know me, you know I adore anything written by Linzvonc, and this one is no different!
We first meet Drake in My Brothers Best Friend. He is the quarterback, and a player, until he meets the new girl from England Victoria. There is an instant connection between them but Victoria doesn't fall for his crap and Drake instantly wants her, he just has to changes his ways.
This one was an emotional rollercoaster!! I felt every emotion, and I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see if they would get to have their HEA.
I couldnt get enough of this book!! This is another mustread from Linz!!!

Drake by Linzvonc is a spin-off of My Brother’s Best Friend. This book revolves around Drake who was previously portrayed as a jock and playboy. In Drake, we see a different side to his character and I really enjoyed it.
Drake, now in college, is the star quarterback and a ladies' man, but when he meets Victoria, his attraction is intense and he must prove he can be more than a ladies' man. Drake and Victoria had an emotional, messy, and rollercoaster of a relationship. They’re meant to be, but sometimes things get in the way and then you get all the angst between these two. Drake’s character was well-developed and his growth was something I enjoyed seeing in this book. Victoria’s character was a little harder to like, however, I eventually came around to liking her.
I loved the inclusion of a possible love triangle, the twists, and the turns. I read it in one sitting. Linzvonc’s writing is compelling, and the plot grabbed my attention from the first page. I can’t wait to read what else Linzvonc writes next!

Honestly, I'm not even surprised. Linz is an amazing author and I'm so so proud to be a part of her ARC team.
The book is about a character, previously introduced in My Brother's Best Friend, Drake.
Victoria and Drake are not your average couple and that's what makes them the best couple out there. It is so well written that i found myself go through all the feels along with the characters.
It is definitely worth a read!

Another fun read by Linz! Though I have to be completely honest, I enjoyed Drake’s story a tad bit more once I got past the whole fuck boy references. I guess I’m just getting older and never understood the purpose of the constant negative innuendos. Besides that, great story with acceptable word building and character development.

I’m not sure how I feel about Victoria’s character. Granted she’s been through a lot with her Dad passing and instability with her previous relationship, but she holds a lot of her pain against Drake. Not saying some of the episodes weren’t warranted, but she pushed him a few times.

I was not a fan of Drake’s character in MBBF, but loved him in this one. Being able to see his true feelings and emotions, rather than the playboy side, was refreshing. Though he’s possessive and dominant, with a hint of jealousy, his intentions were genuine even when he wasn’t sure of what they were exactly.
“𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶.”
Their connection shown through right away, from their first encounter. Not to mention their chemistry! Both parties not afraid to take control of the situation, adding a little spice to the scene. They were adventurous and spontaneous, not allowing their scenery stop their intimacy. Four stars for a quick, spicy read! Hopefully we’ll hear back regarding Greg soon 😏

She's only gone and done it again 😍🖤 we met Drake in an earlier book "my brothers best friend" and now he gets his very own book 😏🙊
The star quarter back, f*ck boy and all round ladies man is exactly the image Drake holds but when he meets his "English rose" he needs to prove he can be more than just a f*ck boy.
Drake and Victoria are an absolute roller-coaster of "he said, she said" and at times I literally wanted to bang thier hands together 😂 but they are simply made for each other! It's not all sunshine and roses with this book but you do get your hea so if you don't mind gritting your teeth through the angst then you'll want to give this one a read!
I really hope we get a little side piece of Greg, I want to know all about his trip to England!! 🙊
I always feel so lucky to be able to arc for Linz. Another brilliant book ❤️

I felt the need to read this book immediately after finishing My Brothers Best Friend because I felt this book had to do with a character from that one. I was correct, but this is definitely a standalone book! No need to read that one first!
So Drake was a rollercoaster. So many emotions, ups and downs and new characters to fall in love with. We mostly here from Victoria in this book - she’s recently moved to the US from England - and straight into Drake.
Drake is the quarterback. A jock to the fullest. A player if you will. There’s something about Victoria, maybe it’s the accent? Or is it something else that’s drawn him in?
We learn about what brought Victoria to the US, the drama that followers her here, the drama that she inevitably finds herself in and her love story of course.
I love the way these characters have captured me. I want to know more about all of them! I’m invested!

After reading “my brother’s best friend” I knew that Linz KNOWS how to write romance. The romance is amazing and so cute, but besides that the whole plot of the books are just captivating.
I liked (yea little crazy) that this book had so much drama. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. At first i thought Drake and Victoria were very cute together, then after them “breaking up” I didn’t like how Drake acted towards her (I mean it’s understandable since he’s kinda obsessed with her but still..), but loved that he tried to show her that he IS NOT a player, every chance he gets (I mean don’t we love guys who go trough that much trouble for us).
Another character I really liked is Greg, he is smart, kind (not at first lol) and just pulled me in with his love for books. I hope a book wil be written for Greg cus I’m definitely going to be needing more of him 😜
I can’t wait to read more of the books in this series.

After moving half way across the world Victoria is ready for a fresh new start. First step is staying away from boys. What she didn’t expect was running into Drake, the number 1 poster boy for what a fuck boy is. Hot jock with countless girls after him. Can she really stay away from him and heal her heart?
The first time we saw Drake was in My Brother’s Best Friend, so it was nice to see him find someone because he really did care for Alicia. The attraction between Victoria and Drake is instantly there but she really makes him work for her attention. There are lots of personal things that both Drake and Alicia have to go through in order for them to realize how much they both want to be together. This book comes out January 22nd so be sure to add this to your TBR!
The first time we saw Drake was in My Brother’s Best Friend, so it was nice to see him find someone because he really did care for Alicia. The attraction between Victoria and Drake is instantly there but she really makes him work for her attention. There are lots of personal things that both Drake and Alicia have to go through in order for them to realize how much they both want to be together. This book comes out January 22nd so be sure to add this to your TBR!

Linzvonc hit this book out of the water yet again!
I love that this book can be read as a standalone but also includes a character that is in My Brothers Best Friend!
Really cute will they be together or won't they. I found after reading a few of Linzvonc's books that she has a charming way of writing and having you fall in love with her characters and wanting them all to have Happily Ever Afters!
I am going to be continuing on my path with her books and you won't want to miss this book or My Brothers Best Friend. Check out my other review!

I was immediately hooked and couldn’t stop reading! It’s so fast paced that you could definitely read it in one sitting. The chemistry/tension between Drake and Victoria is off the charts. If you love a steamy romance, this book is for you! I liked that there was some conflict too because I wasn’t sure how things were going to be resolved. There’s a bit of a love triangle too which adds a lot of depth to the story! Highly recommend!

So sweet!
I must admit I am a sucker for a reformed player! I loved this book! I’ll admit that Drake frustrated me at times, but Victoria did as well. I liked that it was kind of even. They both made mistakes and were able to forgive and move past them.
One thing I was torn on, though, would spin the bottle be considered cheating? I can’t really decide. Either way, I loved the way Drake was so gone for Victoria and I hope they live HEA forever!

Victoria and Drake’s story was so relatable. A lot of people have gone through the struggles they do. New girl, jock stereotype, guy best friends, misunderstandings. I’m so happy with the ending but Linzvonc had me worried for a little bit. There was a lot of conflict in this story but it was also sweet and sexy.

And it’s not just that she’s cousin of Aaron Taylor who’d never let him anywhere near her considering their history.
The story contains all the usual of a fantastic Linzvonc novel - sexy men who need to learn lessons, women who need to believe in their sexuality, steamy scenes where you’re looking for a cool drink after and a happily ever after that leaves you begging for more but completely satisfied with where it’s finished.
If you’ve read My Brother’s Best Friend you definitely want to read this book but is also great as a stand-alone novel.

A wonderful story
At first it started like any other college romace, but the emotions, the confusion the mess the charecters went through was very realistic, what majority of teens go through. Liked the story very much.

I started it and didn't finish it. He was hot and cold. She didn't want to be just another girl and resists him. So he has sex with a different girl. She refuses to see him anymore. Then they talk a few times and have mutual friends. It has been 100 pages and no steamy parts yet.

Victoria is seeking a new start from the messy break up with her ex that sent her around the world. Not looking to be just another tally mark. She tries so hard to resist Drakes charms.
The heat between these two was as intense, and so was my frustration at their stubbornness to open up to each other.
