Paris does a wonderful job at describing how depression and mental illness can bring you to such dark places. I see my younger self in her and am so proud of the woman she’s fought hard to be. This book is such a good read and leaves you with the message that even in our hardest time, we can turn a painful past into something to inspire others and that believing in ourselves is a superpower.
Loved Paris's approach at engaging the reader to reflect resulting in feeling more engaged and identifying with her through the hardships and triumphs. A very well-written and powerful testament to the resilience through a harrowing emotional journey leading to phenomenal personal growth and development.
