Dry as a bone this one, It seems to go into a great deal of detail about certain types of assessments. Between that and the statistics, I am having an allergic reaction to this book
This was a good book considering it is about using assessments in counseling. It was well written with a lot of resources. I had to use this book as part of my assessment class in Winter 2012 quarter. The class was kind of boring, but it was not too bad.

This text is really helpful and provides a lot of additional resources. However, it can get dry and really detail-specific. This book has also recently been updated.
