I did not know that they could pack so much into one book. By the way, this book is big and heavy. 1. Mathematical Tables 2. Mathematics 3. Mechanics of Solids & Fluids 4. Heat 5. Strength of Materials 6. Materials of Engineering 7. Fuels & Furnaces 8. Machine Elements 9. Power Generation 10. Materials Handling 11. Transportation 12. Building Construction and Equipment 13. Shop Processes 14. Pumps & Compressors 15. Electrical and Electronics Engineering 16. Instruments and Controls 17. Industrial Engineering 18. Environment Control
The sections do not do justice to the almost infinite about of information and tables contained in this volume; for example, under digital computers, there is a table on Binary-Octal-Dismal conversions. Interestingly enough they left off Hexadecimal.
It makes for good reading if you want to fill in information that you never heard of. The handbook is best suited for people that already have a question so that they can understand the answer.
