Harry feels great, honestly. He’s got a loyal group of friends, big plans for the future, and he thinks he’s finally gotten the hang of how other people show emotions and how to use those emotions to get what he needs.

Plus now there’s an exciting tournament happening, Snape’s darkening mark means Harry might get his chance for revenge on Voldemort sooner rather than later, and the new Defense Professor is an absolute bloodthirsty genius.

So Harry’s great.

It’s just that Severus Snape is not doing so great. He worries if his ward will survive a year filled with danger, masked enemies, and changes happening quickly within the student body.

Welcome back to Year Four.
Let’s see some chaos, yeah?

While this author has serious talent for story telling, I am still struggling to like her characters.

Sooo many thoughts!
1. Harry is now "definitely the youngest serial killer in the history of the United Kingdom"

2. I cackled at how well Harry's plans were going. He got into the tournament, won and got his standing ovation just like he wanted. Secerus also getting an award was cute. He'll probably end up as the new headmaster.

3. Harry figuring out Barty Crouch Junior, recruiting him AND trusting him was fucking awesome.

4. I cackled at how everyone came together to protect Harry from dumbledore. In canon, Harry had just watched Cedric die, got attacked by voldermort, got attacked by Crouch and then dumbledore made him recount the whole night BEFORE getting him treated. This time was much better.

5. Also the plan to hide Voldermort's return is fucking genius. Of course Fudge isn't just going to believe them. Plus now Dumbledore looks stupid and hopefully he'll be removed soon.

6. Although dumbledore is the only one so far who knows about Horcruxes. He's also convinced that Harry is one. He might try to kill him. Which will definitely be a plus for Harry.

7. With all the dramatic stuff happening, I still want to talk about Harry finally getting a lithium potion that works for him. Snape is a genius. He also told Susan and Theo so now more people know and are looking out for him. The code questions, are you flying/drowning, really help them talk about it even around others.

8. Harry and Fred are a strange couple but it's working in this AU

9. Will draco end up with Luna?

10. Harry's alliance with Rita Skeeter saved him a lot of bad press

I can't WAIT to see how fifth year goes. Harry will probably kill Umbridge before he let's her use the blood quil on him. Oh shit, I had forgotten that Harry and Fudge are friends now, so Umbridge is going to be sucking up to him now😬

Damn. These books are "brill."

The author has taken our canon and flipped it on its head with a mad and morally grey Harry.

I really am loving the growing trust and care in Severus and Harry's guardianship. Loving the Grey crew and character development. Susan is such a BAMF and Luna is soooo sweet.

And Snape having to care and worry about all his snakes is adorable. Can't stop smiling.

Brew that man some anti-acid.

Title changed from “Tres Mortes” to “Polyjuice” on 2022-06-24.

Much better than the third book in the series, even if parts were… ugh.

Harry finds his limits, too.

I love the original HP series, but this retelling is the story I didn't knew I needed.

If you’ve read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, then this book far exceeds your expectations. With threats looming and the gang aging, this is surely a tale to be told. I read this entire story in nearly a day, and by the end of it I had adrenaline pulsing through my veins and my heart beating rabidly in anticipation. This is a wonderful ride that you would be crazy not to jump aboard on. With a healthy amount of angst and almost fluff, this is a must read. The character growth is spectacular and even in the dark there is a full supply of humor for you to enjoy.

Here is where Harry meets Barty Crouch Jr. and decides he wants him in his gang 😂
This year was funny but also heartbreaking. Harry made many mistakes but he’s learning. I must admit I don’t care much about Susan anymore.
Harry/Fred continues strong.

Remember this by: Remus is studying to become a mind healer, paid by Severus. This guardian is grasping at anything to help the child 🤭

Definitely better than the last. Fred and harry don’t irk me as much. I still think they’re a wack couple.

As always, my favorite part is snape and harrys relationship. I love how snape refers to harry as “my child.”

The gang is cute, but i hate how hierarchical it is. I hope that by the end of the series, harry is able to have relationships where he is in equal footing and doesn’t threaten others with death.
