This book picks up where the other left off, and it gets even better! After that last shock, I honestly had to take a break to catch my breath. I love the characters in this series-especially Chiara and Sofia. I mean, Chiarina's so tiny, and with those powers, and Sofia's so . . . grounded-the perfect pair of sister-heroines I love the character development too-both of Chiara and later, of Queen Ariana-and how one grows to accept her differences while the other grows to realize the bad choices she's made. And finally, I was both surprised and delighted to witness the appearance of a few characters from the Reversed Retellings series.
I loved the entire series. It was a wonderful twist on a classic idea. I enjoyed all the characters and the arc of the story. My only complaint would be that this last book felt a little rushed.
A lot more happened in this book. I don’t really believe Leon and Chiara as a couple. She’s uneducated and he’s a prince…Contains: a few cases of mild language, kisses, fighting
I don’t know why but all of the villains and antagonists felt a lot more cartoonish in this book than the last two and I don’t know if I liked it or not. I also ended up skimming through most of the parts that weren’t either Chiara’s or Leon’s perspective
