Good analogies are provided by author to make the complex logic easy to grasp. this book will help to get foundational understanding and hands on with core capabilities of k8s. If you want to deep understanding of how things are working behind the scenes, this is not for that.

I have had this brief book on my shelf for a while and finally decided to read it in its entirety.

Kubernetes, or K8s, is a container orchestration tool. If you know what Docker is, and what a container is, then one should know that k8s is a tool that allows one to efficiently make use of multiple of them(containers) interacting together and in interesting ways.

I've made use of K8s on occasion, but picked up this book after feeling my skills lacking mastery.

It provides a comprehensive overview of the tool with enough practical examples to get one going immediately. Heard the 2025 version is coming out soon and I'm curious to see what, if any, new applications I can derive, especially in AI.
