Ms. Monique, you did not have to snatch my edges like that! OMG, this book was EVERYTHING!!! Kingston came through and just shoved Grey and Blu out of the way for the number one spot as my new book boo! Oh, how I loved this man. The BDE he exuded was almost offensive. Kingston was the epitome of an alpha male but, he was also the gentlest of giants. From the moment he laid eyes on Tiffany, he saw his wife, their future, and never looked back. Kingston and Tiffany are definitely couple goals. They are what we all aspire to be. Yes they had to whether a few hurdles to get to their HEA but, those high jumps were so worth it. Kingston was a phenomenal read. It's leading the run as my favorite book of 2022. Everything about this book was great. From the character development and storyline to the strong female and male lead characters. This book is exactly why M. Monique is in my top five favorite authors.

Kingston was everything!☺☺☺ He loved hard and knew exactly what he wanted. It was so good seeing Tiffany matured and grown, while getting a glimpse into her family's growth. Blu and Grey did not disappoint.

I'm excited to see what 2022 brings for this brilliant author!

Kingston is boarder line psychotic…..🥴 I like it 🤭😮‍💨

I have come to the finish line! I was waiting on Tiffany’s book after finishing Grey and Bleu’s story! First of all, Kingston is crazy as hell and on the exact type of time Tiffany’s brothers were on! Tiffany’s standoffish ways towards Kingston at first make more sense knowing she’d never been in a relationship. Kingston is a bold choice for your first boyfriend cause he told everyone she's mine multiple times when she was in fact not his lol. Her leaving the tutoring sessions and her birthday night are a few moments where Kingston made his presence known🤭. This story had a lot of drama starting with Kingston and his family dynamic and Tiffany and the issues with her job. I wouldn’t say this was a suspenseful romance but an urban romance with some suspense. The job situation was lowkey crazy and tbh I felt there were some loopholes in that part of the storyline. I also feel the situation with August was a lot and never really resolved. Did Jericho just disappear?? Faith deserved better tbh. I did get sad about Granny and the reasoning behind it all?! Smh Nate can go to hell. Overall this story was good, but a bit all over the place with the different storylines and scenarios. I wouldn’t have minded another 100 pages to flesh more of the story out. Regardless I had fun and Kingston although psychotic was also a freak and a walking wet dream! Tiffany won!

Kingston & Tiffany

This couple had a bit of a rough time. From the beginning, the attraction was immediate and it took King a minute to make Tiffany his. Once, Kingston won her heart….it was on. The couple hit a rough patch, which to me was unnecessary and I felt like Tiffany overreacted….I took her age Into consideration, because that was not a good enough reason for her to stop talking tonKing for weeks. Nevertheless, something happened and she needed him and he comes to her rescue…the couple finally get it together and get back on track.

King & Tiff Beautiful ! 🤩 the pressure is real!


It’s just something about when I read a book about the baby sister it never fails something about the girls in series.

Tiffany I was soooo ready for her story… & I could read this book over and over again. OMFREAKINGGOD!! King & Sapphire I’ma call her by her real name , Cause man these two. I cannot get enough . He loves her effortlessly and so does she.. KING is really that guy from how he treats his granny / aug and even the daddy! I knew he would be the one just how much love he has for her . So I knew once he met his match it would be sparks and flame …. & tiff the fact her first ever relationship I was so happy with was a good guy and she didn’t have to to go through all the bs … i was so heartbroken when they went through that little break I said omg this cannot be happening & not going lie the fact her blew the door off the hinges ( did something to me smh) 😩. When him and grey went for blows I was like nooooo ( but one call that all it took. ) happy they got back to the place and understanding.

I hate tiff had to go through that with Chris & Anissa blew me!!! Really!!!!! They got exactly what they deserve . Trifling

I still was smiling when each family made some appearances . M Monique got me in a chokehold …. Freaking Amazing!!!! This book is just simply awe and another well written novel …. I see the Hype cause babyyyy!!!! 🥰!

I love a good flashback scenes . I felt Marie was simply an angel I could feel her though the pages just a beautiful soul.

Granny death broke me down!!! I was devastated just like everybody in the book man that was hard . But how Tiffany showed up for king , august man that’s my girl I love her down!!!!

This story was just sooooo beautiful definitely Read so you can experience for yourself .. perfect amount of everything you don’t think you need but you do! ✨✨


side note I don’t know what is is about King, Grey and Blu being in law enforcement!! Just hit different and I liveeee!!!!

I didn’t want this one to end. I loved Kingston and Tiffany together. The chemistry was undeniable- these two were tied to each other’s souls. It was truly magical to read about. No relationship is perfect and these two had their share of woes but the good outweighed the bad for them. Tiffany knows how a man should treat her with two dominant forces as brothers, so Kingston had to come correct. Kingston stole my heart when he showed that he was not afraid of Blu and Grey. He was all man and feared no one. This book had some heavy topics specifically in reference to Tiffany’s boss and Kingston’s father. Those two parts had me so frustrated but they were so necessary. Regardless of what happened Kingston proved his loyalty to the ones he loved. It broke my heart when these two were at odds. I felt that Tiffany definitely overreacted but at the same time I could understand why she was hurt. I loved everything. M. Monique knows how to make readers fall head over heels for her characters. ❤️

My favorite quote was, “Just like you trust me to protect you, trust me to love you, Tiffany. Trust me to be faithful to you, trust me to carry you when you're down. Trust me to brighten up ya day. Trust me to make you laugh uncontrollably at the stupid shit I say or do, just to see ya beautiful smile, and hear ya angelic laughter. That's what I want. I've never played games witchu. I've never hidden a single part of me from you. You know my words." Whew! We love a man that is not afraid to use his words and actions respectfully. 👏🏾

Kingston x Tiffany

M. Monique just never miss. I have no idea how she comes up with these characters. From physical appearance to characteristics and personalities, her heroes are always so fckng sexy. King was just so damn fine. Everything about him made him fine, AF. From his job, to his locs, to the fangs in his mouth and to his love and loyalty to everyone important to him. Then there's Tiffany. She was my absolute favorite. We know Tiffany as the Summers' twin younger sister. She comes from a family that highly values family, loyalty, and love. Hers and Kings' love was fierce. It was beautiful to see someone like King love Tiffany the way he did and for her to allow him to do so.
August that immature little prick, yes, I understand why he behaved the way he did, but damn. He irked my nerves. Every damn decision he made was poor af. Broken home and daddy issues will do that to you I tell ya...smfh. I need a redemption story for him.
I love the Summers' siblings and the Wells clan. This was a really good read. M. Monique is becoming one of my fave to go to author.

Awemazing Read!

This was so good. Oh my goodness I love me some Kingston. He was amazing from the get go, he just had my hear fluttering with how he loved and doted on Tiffany. Whew Chile who doesn’t love a man that can stand up for you and with you against your crazy brothers. I loved the whole family. August really let me down and broke me a little he needs his own story of redemption and love. Tiffany and Kingston were perfectly matched for each other loyalty, love and family ran deep in their DNA and I love to see it. M. Monique never ever fails, she easily on of my fav top 5 authors and I can’t wait for the next amazing read

I love how the guys go hard for their women when they fall in love. Kingston came through from the onset exuding BDE alpha male yet a gentle giant. No wonder Kingston and Grey were battle buddies because they are so much alike. Tiffany was a sweetheart but I hated when she allowed an enemy to get under her skin causing her to not believe in Kingston. Glad love prevailed. Loved Granny and Nate, the father is trash. Waiting on August's story.

interesting.

I really like this author’s books. This one is the third book I’ve read from her linked to the Summers family after “Uncovering Love” and “Blu.” Featuring 3rd oldest Summers sibling, Tiffany, who we’ve gotten to know well over the previous two books, this standalone tells a painfully emotional story of Tiffany, cherished and protected by her family, trying to find her purpose and meeting and falling in love with Kingston, a drug enforce agent with a troubled family history, who’s still trying to reconcile the loss of his mother and his brother’s descent into dysfunction.

I think there were a lot of great things about this book- the instalove was well done, the action and drama were compelling. I still dispute that this was realistic from a law enforcement agent perspective and there were a few minor continuity issues here and there, but as a romantic suspense, it overall worked and was an enjoyable read. There were a couple of things that really bothered me however. One was Tiffany’s somewhat pick-me misogynistic tendencies- she is very willing to observe and accept brutally toxic behaviour from men but then is incredibly hard on women as a gender and on female friendships- it is very unappealing in a character especially one that seems otherwise smart. Furthermore, at the beginning, she makes some colourist statements in an attempt to try to hide her attraction to Kingston and I was already put off by her at that point. The other issue that bothered me is August and the fact that he was given no opportunity to grow up and face some consequences- I’m not saying Kingston shouldn’t protect him but I did not believe he changed because there was no impact of his behaviour- I would consider it a tragedy if Faith ended up with his immature self. I liked this book but these small things kind of spoiled my enjoyment of the book even though it’s still overall very entertaining.

The One

Whew just sign Kingston up to my book boyfriend list because yesssss!! He was everything!!! His confidence, swag, love and respect for his family, his loyalty, vulnerability, clarity on what he wanted, his eagerness to give to those he loved, AND HE WAS A BOSS!

When he was clear on Tiffany being his one, he made sure she understood. Albeit he was a little aggressive and she was not at all ready for the smoke. Once he was finally able to, he claimed her in front of her family when he really had no claim to her. It opened her up to the possibility and from there she easily gave him her heart.

Tiffany was like a missing puzzle piece to Kingston's family. She immediately doted on his Granny. Hanging out with her in the garden, learning from her. She let her family love on Granny too. Tiff gave Kingston's brother August a hard time, just like any big sister would. She brought happiness to them.

Unfortunately they had their ups and downs too. August was so suspect to me. He seemed jealous of their relationship and as soon as he saw a tiny crack in their foundation he did what he could to widen it. It took a scary situation to bring them back together and of course Kingston was right there being the protector that he was. Tiff was there for him at his lowest point and protected him from his own when he was unable to speak for himself. They had a beautiful love.

There were a few grammatical errors, but this beautiful story was clear and shined through. I would love a story on August because I wasn't feeling him at all and I would like more of his pov.

When he said “We go together” he meant that. Love at first sight hit Kingston heavy and he made sure Tiffany knew there was no other choice but for them to be together.

That man is sexy. Smart, confident, funny, and willing to do anything to protect the ones he loves.

- I love the way he kept showing up for Tiffany and how he didn’t care about how anybody felt about the way he was loving on his woman.
- I love the way he fit right in with her family
- I love the way the author gave us pieces of August from Kings perspective, but let that picture fall together beautifully from August’s prospective.
- I love how even death couldn’t keep a mothers love away
-I love how a close family love hits different

This is a favorite and Kingston has made it to my 2024 book boyfriend list. 💜

I'm still in awe

Just because a man claims to be a man does not mean he embodies the Realness. A young man who takes over the care for his younger brother and grandmother, now that is a Real man. I gave Kingston high praise for the way he moved in live. When Kingston met Tiffany, he knew....Watching them grow in love was grown folks boldness. The story also had sad moments with Granny, August's attitude and behavior especially with his girl. King and August's dad was pure trash... Then there was the back story with Tiffany's brothers Blu and Grey. I would hate to meet them in a dark place. I need to see if they each have a story. But, this story was fantastic. 4.75 stars....

My MF dude King! Gah I loved him so much and he is the epitome of compassionate gangsta. I love how he set his mind on Tiffany and went full throttle. Whew I just love me possessive man. This books solidifies that I might be a tad bit toxic because when King kick that door open, I ENJOYED THAT SHIT TOO MUCH. I was like yasssss daddy. The way that he loved on his granny is so sweet. I love a man who recognizes the person who took care of him. Add in the way that he covered his brother and I’m ready to marry this man. It must have been hard being a DEA office with a father in prison but he handled it way. I’m sure there was a reason in the back of his head why he didn’t feel the need to protect and help his dad, I’m glad all was reveal to him how his father was a manipulative snake. Another plus for me is the paranormal aspect of the book. It was a welcomed surprised that I felt added to the tone of the book. Tiffany is my girl. I loved how she stood her ground when it came to king, i believe you have to teach people how to treat you. It’s obvious she looks up to and respect her brothers because she found a man just like them. My heart ached for her concerning the situation with her boss, no one should have to experience that. While, I did love this book, I’m going to say that it’s very character driven because the plot fell short for me. The plot never came full circle because scenes weren’t fleshed out completely and the storyline completion didn’t leave me satisfied. All in all, I love this love story about choosing your own path regardless of how you were brought up.

Love Tiffany and Kingston

Dating is hard for Tiffany Summers with two overprotective brothers who have been known to scare any man Tiffany brings around, so she vows that she wont date a man who cant handle her brothers. DEA Agent Kingston has always been committed to taking care of his grandmother, raising his brother, and his career. Falling in love has been the furthest thing from Kingstons mind until he laid eyes on Tiffany Summers, the one woman he knows will mess his head up.

I knew from reading Uncovering Love and Blu that Blu and Grey were gonna give Kingston hell over Tiffany but Kingston wasn’t backing down, I loved Kingston and Grey’s back and forth and the development of their brotherhood. Tiffany was a goner from the moment Kingston showed he wasn’t t bothered by her brothers and I don’t blame her because Kingston was that dude. Tiffany was so attentive to Kingston and in return he showered her with love and attentiveness. I appreciated how Tiffany was committed to figuring out her career path and how supportive Kingston was. Tiffany and Kingston did have their issues but Kingston was not letting his woman go, that man would have scorched the earth for Tiffany. Kingston had a lot of weight he had to carry for his family but Tiffany was right by his side to help lighten his load.

There was a bit of suspense in this book but more action since Kingston was an active DEA agent chasing perps down. There were some mysterious characters at the end that I am going to go back and read about (Houston and Dallas), looks like the there are couple of books in M. Moniques catalog were about Houston and Dallas. I would also like to see how things go for Kingston’s brother August and his baby mama. The only thing I was missing in this book was Theo, since him and Tiffany had a bond in Uncovering Love I was looking forward to his little voice in this book.

This was a great read that dealt with a couple heavy topics, it saddened me what Kingston had to go through with his dad but I enjoyed the little gems his mother left him when he looked back on conversations he had with her. Kingston was loyal almost to a fault, I was glad he saw the truth before he was loyal to someone who didn’t deserve it.

Just how, M. Monique? How do you continue to create book bae, after book bae, that tops the one before him? We swooned at Grey, then loved Blu's sexy dominance, but Kingston is just the ish! One look at Tiffany, and he saw his future. Poor Tiffany did not know what hit her, and had no chance to combat all that is King! He was so in your face, but so smooth with it! He was rough, but yet soft, at the same time! Kingston was the type of man who spoke, and you smiled and nodded yes, to whatever he said! 😂 I loved how Kingston took care of granny and August. Even after all that he had gone through, his loyalty to them was unmatched! But, what I loved the most about Kingston, was how unbothered he was by both Grey and Blu! He actually loved getting them riled up, especially Grey! 😂 Now, that is a man baby! August! I wanted to beat his ass, for acting like a spoiled brat, after all Kingston has been and is to him! I hope that he gets himself together! Granny.......... That was tough! 😢 Nate was just an ain't ish n***a, and I had no empathy for him AT. ALL! 😡 What an amazing read! You hit the bulls-eye every time ma'am! Kingston and Tiffany were goals, for real for real! 👍👍👍

Excellent story

I just love this authors writing style. Heading into her books I already know she’s going to write the heck out of this story. Her storylines are always different but draw you in. She can write an alpha male like nobodies business. I didn’t think anyone could top Blu and Grey. But the way Kingston swept Tiffany off her feet, I was full own swooning. I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to see what this author has next up.

This author has done it again! A great read from beginning to end. The way that Kingston loved on Tiffany from their first meeting makes this book worth more than 5 stars!! August, I wanted him to have several seats several times because WHEW that boy just refused!! Oh Granny 🥺. I definitely recommend this book Happy reading 💖

I see a King

When he saw her he saw his future. He wasn't letting her or anyone else get in his way even her lol King was just that a King!! He was part Gangsta & part Gentlemen what every lady wants sigh and sexy with that BDE and a sense of family loved this story. Tiffany was a boss and I loved her lol except she irritated me just a little lol. But she handled her business. Then my Baby Grey with his quiet crazy self!! He came through wrecking stuff lol and Blu was his usual self lol and she dropped a surprise on us!!
