The key to life is in your zodiac chart -- the ultimate tool to help you understand yourself, discover your life’s meaning, and take control of your future Why do I feel anxious all the time?

We’re all on a never-ending quest for guidance, answers, and solutions.
You may spend hours completing personality tests, reading self-help books, or visiting a tarot reader who will give you a glimpse of your fate.
It’s only natural that you want to know yourself better, make sense of the world around you, and seek out tools to help you overcome challenges.
That’s the main reason why behavioral astrology exists -- to answer questions about you.
Astrology is often thought of as a form of entertainment.
In fact, many people never go beyond reading their daily horoscopes and obsessively checking compatibility with their crush.
This surface knowledge doesn’t begin to cover the astrological wisdom of the stars shared across lifetimes of study and practice.
When you take the time to go deeper into your natal chart, you will start to uncover:
The planetary influence in your life The karmic past you didn’t know you had And how celestial bodies can impact your patterns of behavior With this renewed self-awareness, you can begin to truly understand what you need for a life of love, success, and prosperity.
In Behavioral Astrology, here is just a fraction of what you will discover:
A cosmic blueprint to uncover your full potential, tap into a world of possibilities, and know exactly what your soul needs from this lifetime The foundations of astrological science explained -- go deeper into zodiac signs, birth charts, and compatibility Step-by-step instructions for creating, reading, and interpreting your birth chart (symbols and glyphs glossary included) How to live your life with exceptional purpose -- understand the subconscious impact of planets, aspects, and asteroids on your behavior Mindfulness tools to shine a light on the deep inner workings of your heart, psyche, and soul A glimpse into your past and a map into a bright future with the help of south and north nodes The practical steps rooted in astrology to unblock your path to growth, evolution, and healthy relationships And much more.
Whether you’re just astro-curious or you’re a seasoned astrology enthusiast, this handbook is a must-have!
The concepts of sun, moon, and rising signs you think you understand… are unpacked in greater depth than ever.
Know how to be the best possible version of yourself, cultivate only the right kind of relationships, and understand the core reasons you are here on this earth.
You no longer have to drift through life blind to your experiences.
Behavioral Astrology had a focus to guide readers to process and understand their relationships and self through their zodiac signs. Did it hit the mark? YES it did! There was so much detail in there that allowed you to be able to create your own birth chart, if you wanted to. From the sun and moon to the asteroids and nodes, it touched on everything.
I really liked the flow of the book overall, it was a nice blend of academic and relatable with the simplicity for newbies. There were links all through the book to help with things the reader may not have known ahead of time. Sites that would generate the information for the reader as well as extra reading. I also enjoyed the application questions that followed each section to make sure you were understanding and bringing it back to self. It was very well organized and sequential and allowed for a blend of guidance and self discovery.
Although there was so much to love about this book, there were also a few areas that could’ve been a bit better. First was the asteroids section, it would’ve been nice to have the same type of breakdown for all of them rather than detailed for four and overview for the rest. Things got confusing when it shifted from signs and asteroids to planets and their correlation. There was no explanation prior to the shift in the overviews. Some information could be explained a bit more. Ex, when you say planet in 3rd house, what does that mean? What planet am I looking for? How do I know what to find?
Also, there were tiny errors here and there, like Cancer being labeled an Air element when it’s water. In the compatibility section, once it got started, each sign said see previous sign. By the time it got to Pisces, there was nothing there to look at except Pisces/Pisces. People are not going to want to have to search each sign when they are looking for their own. It’d be more convenient to have the information for each in each sign.
If you have ever wondered why you do the things you do, think the way you think, feel the way you feel or are just curious about those horoscopes, this is for you. It’ll take you on a deeper dive into you and get a better understanding of who you are.

Behavioral Astrology: How To Interpret Your Relationships, Soul, and Self Through The Zodiac Signs by Charlie B. Emerson is an informative self-help book that provides valuable insight and probing questions towards horoscopes and their impact on relationships. In addition, this book addresses how the positions of the stars and planets may influence the day-to-day lives of individuals.
Behavior Astrology expounds upon a multitude of topics related to the astrology of the zodiac. These topics include but are not limited to: a step-by-step guide on how to interpret your birth chart according to astrology, what behavioral astrology is, how to identify specific behavioral traits, navigating your behaviors, relationships, and intimacy in the zodiac, and more.
Emerson does a great job of recognizing that not everybody is fond of the idea of astrology and that some may view it as limiting. However, many people are drawn to it due to the nature of gaining clarity and conveying ideas about themselves. Emerson offers an open mindset to individuals who may question the validity of astrology and encourages readers to use what they learn in his book as a tool to implement into their relationships.
This book allows for an expansion of mindset by challenging readers with prompts, visuals, and valid information over the subject matter of relationships and behavioral astrology. It was interesting to see how different signs are compatible with one another while others are not.
Overall, this book was informative, challenging, and enjoyable to read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to learn more about horoscopes as a way of thinking, how they affect spirituality, and how they affect individuals who follow their zodiac as a guide to life.
Behavioral Astrology: How To Interpret Your Relationships, Soul, and Self Through The Zodiac Signs is a self-help and reference book. Anyone with even a remote interest in Astrology will find something of value in this fascinating book.
First off, let me state that I have a healthy respect for astrology. I began to study it myself when I was a teen, and have charted for myself as well as others. Therefore, I am always open to learning more, and I enjoy reading new publications that might give insight now and then. Unfortunately, in this book, I did not find that.
While this book is great for telling people how things work -- the Sun, Moon, Aspects, etc.; and it explains them very well, I was torn because it gave some information that I found erroneous. The sun signs that this book regards as ideal for relationships for myself are all wrong. In fact, the sun sign that the author thinks will run from me I have been with for nearly 30 years, and married to for nearly twenty. Explain that. The ones he thinks I would work with? Nope. Those relationships never worked. So you see, you cannot go by sun sign. There are so many more considerations, which were never gone into.
However, again, this book does a good job of giving information regarding the explanation of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Aspects, Transitions, etc.; and that is information that you need to know. I honestly just think that before you take all this information to heart you need to forget the last part of the book (that gives you compatibilities) and rather work with your own heart and head. Don't live by the page.
This book just didn't show me anything I didn't already know, and while it is a fairly good reference book, I can't see using it myself; but it is an excellent place to start for others.
I received a free copy from Reading Deals and Amazon but this in no way influenced my review.
Interesting and fun read! I love learning about astrology and this was definitely a great tool. If you are just looking for basic surface astrology info that just corresponds with your sign, this may be too in depth for you. If you are already an expert, I'm sure there is nothing new for you other than the author's writing. I loved creating my birth chart - and my family's. With links that take you directly to sites that you input your info into and get your details, it's so simple! It was a lot of fun. I got a bit lost in the section regarding asteroids and orbs becuase there is so much to info to process at once and I got overwhelmed. This is no solid blueprint to your life - what is? - but it's an interesting guide to interpreting more of your own aspects of behavior as well as your significant other or children or anyone else you create a chart for.
(I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley.)
I’ve always been interested in astrology and keen to build my knowledge more in this area in recent months.
Behavioural Astrology provides a helpful and informative introduction to the key astrological components (sun signs, moon signs and ascendents) to allow you to begin building your own birth chart.
I’ve often seen traditional online horoscopes and felt they were sometimes not quite accurate and this book really helped me to understand why that is and the differences that other factors, such as the placement of asteroids in your chart, can impact on personality traits, behaviours and relationships.
The author also provided plenty of useful links to help guide you through the process and allow for future research.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Really interesting book that explains all of the different aspects of astrology. Shows how to figure out your main astrological sign and then goes into detail as to how to figure out more complicated aspects and where to go to get the information.
Good source if your starting your research or if you’re continuing to get more in-depth information.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for a free eARC in return for an honest review
Fairly well detailed and encompassing over the basics of astrology.
I would like to have seen more on the patterns that crop up within your natal charts and more in depth explanations about the non-planetary aspects within your chart, but I can also see how this might make for the start of a second book on the matter.
First things first, this book was incredibly informative. I learned much about myself, made connections to the people around me, my husband and son, and even personality correspondences to my dog. My few issues would be the skipping of some descriptions and potentially by accident. For example, there’s no explanation for Pallas in Virgo. It completely skips it. But it puts everything directly, plainly, and it’s easy to work along side a birth chart with. Great read!
This interesting book was a compilation of study on astrology, the zodiac and how they along with the planets play a role in our everyday lives. This book offers charts and websites to help research a comprehensive outline for an individual.

I’ll keep my review simple if you’re interested in facts only… then this is the book for you. I think this book gives you generalized attributes of each zodiac sign but nothing that Eye opening it delivers the information in a straightforward fashion I give this book 2 stars
As someone who has been drawn towards all the different branches of Occult sciences and as someone who has indulged in that curiosity by trying to self-learn the subjects, I can attest to the fact that most of these subjects are very difficult to learn by oneself. Even in this age of information, where google can provide answers to any question under the sun, one needs to be careful of all the misinformation floating around.
My journey with astrology has been that of love and hate. I am intrigued by it, but none of the books I have read so far actually helped me to 'understand'. Oh, I can tell you what your zodiac sign traits are and that it is better to keep your mouth shut when Mercury is in retrograde… But those are just things that I kind of picked up rather than learning how's and why's.
And with all that rambling the point I am trying to make is that I absolutely loved Charlie Emerson's Behavioural Astrology because it turned out to be a book that gave me an experience that almost felt like chatting with a friend rather than listening to a lecture from a rather high browed professor who likes to use big words. There… I said it. It was really easy to get into the book and glean important information from it because Charlie treats his audience (readers) like a friend through his delivery.
I loved this!! I have been fascinated by astrology for as long as I can remember and this book breaks everything down so well. It is incredibly complex and detailed, but not in a way that is overwhelming. The diagrams are super useful. You can read this cover to cover, or dip in and out for specific ideas and queries - both would provide the info and eye opening details you're looking for. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in astrology, and going a bit deeper than just your usual 'star sign' information!
Behavioural Astrology is an all encompassing guide to astrology and how it affects behaviour. The book is well written, thoroughly researched and full of fascinating facts and figures. The chapters are hyperlinked making information easy to find. A fantastic resource! Don't miss it!
