The world is his home, she’s afraid to trust those who she can’t hold close. Can the two of them find a way to make their ten year long fantasies a reality?

Serena Harper leads a good life, rescuing animals that need saving. After her high school boyfriend cheated on her and discovering her father’s betrayal, she’s content to live her life alone. She’s known the men in Cedar Hill her entire life, and she can’t trust someone who doesn’t stay put.

She reconsiders everything she held true when Chase walks back into her life.

His work has taken an emotional toll, so he jumps at the chance to work an easy assignment—a charity calendar for a local animal shelter. He certainly didn’t expect to run into the girl who intrigued him from the day he met her ten years ago on the Atlantic City boardwalk.

The girl whose image has accompanied him around the world.

Now that Chase and Serena have reunited, they are determined to find a way to be together. To explore the attraction that has been lingering below the surface for all these years. I love reading about this family! Serena, her twin, older sister and older brother didn’t have the greatest childhood, but when they found out their father had an affair and have a half sister, it totally shocked them. Serena has some bad trust issues, that I think she carries too far, but that is just me. Even though she felt like no one saw her because of her twin, a young photographer saw something in her when she was 15 at Atlantic City. I can see how a young girl could be so impressionable by Edward when he took her picture and not of her twin. She has always fantasized about Edward and measured every male to him. She has always been such a giving person and tries to save all animals. I can see why she started an animal shelter to save animals. A benefactor has decided to do a calendar shoot to help raise money for her shelter. The handsome photographer who comes out is named Chase, but reminds her of Edward. Chase has been all over the world and has seen the worst of the worst, but is a Pulitzer Prize photographer. He recognizes Serena as soon as he sees her, but doesn’t say anything right away as he is Edward. He has held the picture of her with him all these years and that is what kept him sane through what he went through. I was glad to see he didn’t wait too long to tell her who he was especially because of her trust issues. I loved how well they were made for each other, but I think Serena was looking for a reason not to trust Chase. They end up having issues because of her trust problems. There are some really poignant descriptions in the book of the tragedies Chase has seen all over the world. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

A fragile heart can prove itself a great asset, if we don't allow it to become an even greater weakness. Chasing Trust takes the most tarnished of hearts and shines them up real nice. Stopper dives head first into a world of broken souls and stagnant dreams to find a rainbow at the end of a dark tunnel. Chase and Serena are two halves of a whole. Chance is how they began. Can a little bit of faith and bucketful of hope, guide them to forever? A hauntingly beautiful heartache becomes an ethereal fresh start.

Trust issues and family drama are at the center of the new installment into the saga of the Harper family.
Even though I had a bit difficult time to get into - and stay in - the story of Serena Harper and Edward “Chase” Foster, as characters, I found them both charming and lovable. I admired their humble attitude towards life, their giving, and caring souls. Their generosity towards everyone, and everything, surrounding them was commendable, how their sole focus in life was contributing and giving to the community, was exemplary. Their example was inspirational, yet there was no showmanship in their humbleness, it seemed like it was their true nature to think others first, to find out how they serve the community and the individuals in it.
Both Serena and Edward had issues with their fathers, pain rooting into the parental relationships that had changed them and their future paths more than ordinarily. Serena felt betrayed by her father's infidelity, creating trust issues towards men, that her previous boyfriend just managed to strengthen.
In my opinion, Serena took her issues a bit too far and was a little unreasonable in some instances.
Edward had walked his own path in life, making his own success, surviving and thriving in the tough combative career on a global market, leaving his father's dreams and plans for him behind.
I loved how Edward and Serena met, how strong of a connection they had from the start, and how special Edward made Serena feel, a young girl who often felt left in her twin's shadow. The way they carried the torch for each other over the years was immensely adorable, there was something very innocent and sweet about it.
The Harpers have pain and distress in their family from their late father's choices and mistakes in life. Even though he is gone, his past actions still have a stronghold in his children's present life, creating awkward moments and difficult decisions. I love how the siblings stand for each other and protect each other, hold a united front when needed, yet still being strong individuals standing for their own mind and meaning.
The intriguing and charming Harper family saga continues with darling Serena's story where trust is hard to come by, and the feelings are tumultuous even though the emotions are deeply rooted over time...

Serena and Chase’s second chance story was a wonderful story rich in family and relationships. I enjoyed Trusting Chase by Nancy Stopper, book three in her Harper Family series. As a teen visiting the Atlantic Ocean in New Jearsey, on a family outing, Serena Harper noticed a boy, taking her picture. As he came closer Serena got to know Edward Foster, a wandering teen with no home, who was becoming a photojournalist. After returning home Serena’s led a good life, rescuing animals who needed saving, and opening an animal shelter, finding homes for her rescues. After discovering her father cheated on her mom and then learning her high school boyfriend was cheating on her, Serena struggled with trusting men, especially those who didn’t, or wouldn’t, live in Cedar Hill; her home town. Edward “Chase” Foster was a world-renowned photojournalist, burned out from traveling to tell the stories of those struggling around the world; especially in war-torn countries. Needing an easy assignment, Chase travels to Cedar Hill to shoot pictures for a charity calendar fund raiser that happens to be for Serena’s animal shelter. He never expected to run into the girl who intrigued him ten years ago when he met her on the Atlantic City boardwalk; the girl whose image went with him around the world. Since these Serena and Chase have reconnected, they are determined to find a way to be together, explore the attraction they have always had for each other, build a life together. Serena must reconsider everything she values now that Chase is back in her life. Together they must decide if a compromise between their values and trust can be reached in order to achieve a chance at forever.

Ms. Stopper wrote a wonderful, emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, filled with sexual chemistry, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters giving Serena and Chase a chance at having true love. I highly recommend Chasing Trust to other readers.

First, I want to thank Nancy Stopper for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Chasing Trust is Nancy Stoppers third book in the Harper Family Romance Series. It can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. Out of all three of the books in this series so far this one by far was my favorite and left a smile on my face.

If you have a soft spot for dogs then Nancy wrote the book for you! Serena is very passionate about the dog shelter that she runs. She has a huge heart of gold for all of the dogs that she takes care of there and at home.

Nancy wrote an incredible story involving two wonderful characters Chase and Serena that were from two different backgrounds. They met by chance when they were young and never forgot eachother growing up. This is their story on how they met and reconnected years later. Plus, the ups and downs of life that always gets in the way. It is a story that will make you believe in fate, destiny and love.

I absolutely loved that Serena twin sister was an author who wrote psychological thrillers. Those are my absolute favorite genres of books to read.

Amanda Kelsey of Razzle Dazzle Designs needs to be commended for the breathtaking cover of Chasing Trust. The colors that were chosen for the cover were beautiful. Not to mention the couple on the front represent Chase and Serena perfectly. Well done Amanda!

This is the third story in the Harper Family series. In this series, we get a glimpse of how family dynamics (or more importantly, patents’ actions) effect all of those family members differently. Sometimes things that happen within a family leave lasting scars on each family member, it its own way. Each story touches on how their lives have been shaped by those actions.

In Serena’s case, it is the inability to trust someone while they’re away from her. Her trust issues are tested when Edward “Chase” Foster re-enters her life. He’s now a world traveling photographer and, even while she’s becoming reacquainted with him, she struggles in her own mind about whether or not she can trust him when he’s away.

The character development is wonderful. We really get to know both Serena and Chase, understanding why they are each committed so passionately to their respective causes/careers. Chase is the more likable character as Serena’s insecurity almost overshadows anything else about her. Her love of animals and commitment to her cause shines through, however.

This is an enjoyable love story, no high drama (other than Serena’s trust issues) with a lovely ending.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book, however, this is my honest opinion.

As a teenager, Serena Harper has lived life in the shadow of her outgoing twin sister Alexis, so she is shocked when the handsome young man taking pictures of them approaches her! After spending a perfect day in Atlantic City and experiencing her first ever kiss, Serena and her family return to Pennsylvania and their dysfunctional home, the young man heading to New York. Edward Foster set the boyfriend bar very high.

Ten years later, Serena is struggling to keep her animal rescue organization afloat when someone donates funds to produce a charity calendar for the shelter. Edward ‘Chase’ Foster is a burned out, internationally acclaimed photographer sent to do the work.

When Serena hears the name Foster, she so badly wants to connect this name to the young man she met years ago and has dreamed of ever since, but sees little resemblance to her Edward. Chase immediately makes the connection to the young girl he met on the beach, whose picture he has carried with him around the world for ten years.

Dreams do come true. Some times we have to wade through a lot of ugly to reach them, and this is such a story.

There was something about this book that just really got to me. Serena and Edward (aka Chase) met briefly when Serena was a teen. He was taking her picture while she and her sister were on a pier in Atlantic City and he asked her to go on one of the rides with him. After, they shared a kiss (her first!) and she gave him her necklace to remember her by and they parted ways.
10 years later, Chase is a world reknowned photographer and on the verge of burn out, when he is hired to take photos for an animal rescue calendar. He is stunned to realize that the rescues owner is none other than Serena, the girl he never forgot. While they are both different people now, they cannot help the attraction that blossoms between them. As Serena tries to overcome her trust issues, Chase wonders if he has finally found a place he can can settle down and call home. This book was memorable for me and I was very much invested in this couples journey towards their HEA.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

* I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own *

This is the story of Serena Harper who has trust issues, what with a boyfriend who cheated on her in high school and the betrayal by her own father, she decides to live a life on her own rescuing animals.
Chase has been invited to the shelter to do a calendar shoot to help raise money for the shelter, being a Pulitzer Prize photographer he has seen the worst of things and decides to take the job at the shoot.
Serena thinks she recognises Chase as Edward, but Chase doesn’t say anything. Over the years Chase has kept a photo of Serena which has helped him get through these past years and now he wants to start again with Serena.
This was a great story but with the trust issues between them can they get past these issues and have the relationship they both really want.
Can’t wait for the next instalment by Nancy Stopper.

I received a free copy of the novel Chasing Trust: A Harper Family romance book 3 of the 4 book series by Nancy Stopper and this review was given freely.
Complex and filled with family, dogs and poignant moments, this novel provides excerpts into the flourishing family life of the Harpers as it merger with the Bennetts, portrays the family's concern with Alexis drinking, and contains the rocky second chance at romance story of animal shelter owner Serena with Edward aka world renowned photographer Chase. The story of them learning to love, trust, and build a relationship together is touching and a little steamy with a happy ending.

Nancy Stopper has created this wonderful world of the Harper Family and it is so lovely and sexy.
Serena and Chase have met ten years before when she was a teenager and he was an young adult. Their connection was immediately and sweet. Now, she is managing an animal shelter, supporting her family and worrying about her twin sister and Chase returns as the photographer in charge of a charity calendar for her shelter.
This book is something else, it is lovely to see Serena and Chase reconnect and how strong they are together. The writing is beautiful and only brings strong feelings for this couple.
A beautiful book and worth reading.

When she is 15 years old, Serena meets a handsome young man taking pictures of her in Atlantic City. With Edward she has her first kiss. Ten years later, Serena is trying to keep her animal rescue organization running, when someone donates funds to produce a charity calendar for the shelter. Chase Foster is the successful photographer sent. Sparks fly betweem them and when it turns out Chase and Edward are one and the same, will they be able to overcome her trust issues and his need to travel the world taking pictures. I loved this story and series. I highly recommend both. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

If you've been waiting on Serena's story, you will not be disappointed. What happens when a chance meeting 10 years in the past will be the new photographer for a charity calendar for Serena's rescue? Both Serena and Chase have held onto that chance meeting and used it to get them through the tough times in lift. Now 10 years later, can they build upon that or are the real life things they experienced keep them from finding their forever?

This is the third and final book in the Harper Family Series. You'll love Chase and Serena's story. An emotional second chance meeting for two people who've had no interest in settling down. Ten years since they first met on a boardwalk, they've never gotten the image of the other out of their brain. No spoiler here but do they overcome their fears and find comfort and the future in each other. A cute book with likable characters and an entertaining storyline. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Serena’s childhood relationship with her father was tenuous at best, but when she and her siblings found out he had another daughter while married to her mother it reinforced Serena’s experience that men cheat. But the really amazing premise of this book is Serena’s reunion with the boy she has idolized for the last ten years.

The storytelling draws you into this tale. The emotions Serena and Chase feel are transmitted through each word into our hearts making this sexy poignant story a captivating read.

I enjoyed this story a lot! It's a slow build story that is well written. Chase and Serena first meet on the pier in Atlanta City and spend the day together. She returns home and he is off to take his photography and travel the world. Ten years later he needs a break and has been assigned to help on a animal calendar for an animal shelter. When he arrives it's to find his dream girl running the shelter. She has thought of him ever since that day. The same wonderful chemistry and connection are there all this time later. Wonderful story!!

This author just knows how to write delightful, fun loving, great stories. She never disappoints me and this one is another wonderful book. She does a great job of describing all the characters and makes them like they are your next door neighbors. Of course, I wish I had Chase as my next door neighbor! The stories are easy to read and also makes you feel good and believe in the hope that there is happiness at the end of the rainbow. Thank you once again for a great story about two people that is so believable and a few dogs and it’s a winner.

Will Chase Foster, the boy Serena met ten years ago and fell in love with, help her with her trusting issues? Serena do not want to fall in love with Chase for so many reason but she can’t help it. Chase must decide if Serena’slofe is worth enough to stop traveling around the world taking pictures and settle down in Cedar Hill with her. A sweet story about love, friendship, trust and life changing decisions.

Serena met Chase ten years ago when her family went on vacation and he took a picture of her and her twin. She never forgot him in all those years and Chase has never forgotten her and has kept her picture with him. They reunite when he is hired to take photos of the animals in her shelter but she has a hard time trusting anyone and Chase may not be ready to settle down.
