Yūki Tabata (Japanese: 田畠裕基, Hepburn: Tabata Yūki) is a Japanese manga artist.
After working as an assistant to Toshiaki Iwashiro, he created the one-shot Hungry Joker, which was later serialized as a full series. After its conclusion, he launched Black Clover.
It's good. Nothing new to report. We're still in the same fight we've been in for the last year and a half. I can't tell if this is the end of Black Clover, or if the fight is going to end in a draw. Regardless, it sure is Black Clover.
Man, this arc has been nonstop banger after banger moment. It’s definitely not reinventing the wheel in terms of battle shonen but man does it hit all the notes in just the right way. It really rekindled my interest for this series and has reminded me why i got so hooked on the anime way back when it came out. The art is great, although definitely lacking in the background department. Each character has gotten their moment to shine and the emotion is definitely at the forefront. I’m looking forward to what comes next!
Just when you think it's all over, we get a giant kaiju fight and another end-level boss for everyone to pound the crap out of.
I'm curious to see where we go once this arc is over, because it feels like it'll be difficult to top the bad guys introduced during it in terms of power without actually breaking the planet in two.
This chapter started out a bit chaotic and was sort of hard to follow at certain points, but Yami’s return was awesome and I feel like this volume is the first time that Yuno has looked seriously cool lol this has been an excellent arc for seeing everybody evolve
So I have finished all the books that have been published in the United States and I wish I could get on the "Black Clover is superior bandwagon" but I just can't.
Black Clover has a severe issue with consistency. One volume you'd the most heartbreaking story about an elf and his crusade against the humans he deems responsible for a massacre and the next you'd get filler and really bad jokes.
My other problem for this series is that there is a lack of real true consequences for the Black Bulls. Oh no there is this big bad that will kill us all if we don't stop him, oh no one of our beloved characters died, thank goods there is a huge loophole that allows them to return, oh look the bad guy is gone after I got an over-powered level up on a skill I'll never use again. Rinse and repeat 5 times. It's made me really lose interest over the series and not as excited to keep going.
Personally I feel like the series either should've ended after the elves arc or needed another arc between it and the devil arc. Both are way too similar and just leaves me frustrated as Tabata seems unable to come up with more interesting storylines.
I love Black Bulls...what an amazing bunch they are. However, I'm sick of these devils. One of the following volumes should be a really nice filler-y one with all of the BB memebers in the hot spring somewhere during a half-assed mission for the kingdom.
It is definitely better than the previous one but nothing extraordinary happens in my opinion. The final battle against Lucifero continues and our heroes also continue to push past their limits. Asta shows why he is the protagonist and the relationship between Asta and Liebe is something I'm still not sold on. AT LEAST, the other characters are not totally useless and they actually help Asta and the others. Other than that, it was a good volume overall.
This shonen has mastered the art of the build up! As the fight against the Dark Triad winds to a close, a final villain rises and proves to be extremely powerful. Welcome to the fight: Lucifero, King of the Devils. The rest of the Volume is most of the Magic Knight captains heading into battle, and getting summarily defeated without much effort by Lucifero. The only two who seem to be doing any damage are Asta (obviously, though only when he is in Devil Union) and the newly rescued Yami, Captain of the Black Bulls, who uses Dark Magic. Even Yuno can't do much! Yami gets help from Liebe, who as Vice Captain of the Black Bulls has both Devil Union AND Shadow Magic. The final fight begins... next time. This was a really good Volume, watching most of the Captains get defeated like they were nothing. Very action packed. Wish I didn't have to wait so long for V33! Strong recommend.
I'm not sure which exact chapters this volume covers since it is yet to be released, but I've read the dozen chapters past volume 31 and nothing about my review is gonna change.
This is laughably bad, and boring. The whole volume is the "most powerful" characters showing off their "ultimate attacks" and doing nothing because oh nooooo the villain is soooo powerful oh noooooooooo I wonder if our protagonist will pull some new power-up out of nowhere hmmmmmmm
I read these chapters in about 10 minutes, less than a minute a chapter, because wow nothing happens. Big fight scenes with no style to them just energy blasts flying everywhere and some jackass in a black suit going NO.
Mecha-Castle-Bull piloted by the Black Bulls is fighting the giant half-formed demon and they're struggling and barely hanging on until, from a nearby mountain top, Asta appears! Wielding Captain Yami's sword and fused with Liebe he slashes the demon in two with a mighty blow and saves the world!
...Come on, this is Black Clover. No fight is ever ended that quickly. It's so ingrained in me at this point, I was actively waiting for the "BUT SUDDENLY!" moment when villains reappear. I'm only left waiting for 5 pages and then we're back to the constant back and forth drama fights this series should be famous for by now. If it was just once, fine, but it's all the time!
The fight against Lucifero continues and it is pretty cool and I do like they are giving every character a moment to shine as they are slowly beating Lucifero back with each attempt. Even a character like Sekke gets some development as he admits that he should have acted more like Asta and that he should have gotten stronger and not just stick to the background. And I am glad that we finally get to see Yami back in action along with Zora and Secre as they were mostly absent in Spade Kingdom Invasion stuff.
The Lucifero fight becomes the hardest challenge for our heroes yet, and Asta turns out to be the only one who can cut him with his anti-magic.
This volume ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but the fight itself was solid. I like that, while Asta is the only one who can properly hurt Lucifero, he needs a lot of help from his friends and colleagues to even get close to him. That’s quintessential shonen right there, and I love it. I have a feeling the next volume is the conclusion of this arc, but we shall see.
Asta has unlocked his fourth sword, Demon-Slasher. I think? I don't believe he had this before.
Sekke crying because he realized he didn't bother getting stronger like Asta kind of "moved" me. Does it count as The Power of Friendship? Kind of, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yami has a pretty great ENTER here, in Chapter 322.
Kids' Playground is a pretty cool Domain Expansion. Uh, I mean, Noble Phantasm. Shit - I mean, Bankai! Goddammit, it keeps happening...!
"I... acknowledge you."

I'm sure my reviews are starting to blend...when I say....action, action, ACTION!!! Each and every volume brings us more nonstop action. It's really good stuff and all, but it is also hard to state something new is happening within the volume. Entertaining...YES! Easy to describe without sounding like a broken record.....NO! Still, it's fun and engaging.
- combat de asta vs lucifero, tout les combat m'on pas plus ça m'a ennuyé aussi il y a eu à un moment les capitaine vs lucifero ils ce sont fait défoncé à la fin c'était plus asta yuno yami et Nacht vs lucifero.
