I have enjoyed other devotional books by this author more. The prayer format is not for me. I almost didn’t continue reading it when I realized that was what it was, but decided to go ahead and finish. I don’t like to read prayers as though I wrote them — I prefer composing my own prayers. A lot of time, the details in these kinds of prayers don’t match my life. I have one of her actual devotionals lined up for next year, and I’m sure I will enjoy it much,much more.
