Rate this book
Mikita must make a choice. Should she accept the role her father had groomed her for since she was a child and become the next spiritual leader in the village?

When Mikita summons the courage to tell her father about her inward battle, he encourages her to go on an exploratory. A journey into mythical lands where she meets new friends including Zella the antelope and Castor the beaver who help her discover the interconnectedness of nature and, in turn, her unique talents.

Then there is Gareth. He finds himself a single father after his wife died at a young age. Unable to leave the past behind, he struggles to reach new heights in his creativity as an architect while meeting the client’s demands for a design that’s friendly to the environment.

When Gareth’s world intersects with Mikita’s, will she be able to guide him through a successful exploratory of his own?

A fairy tale. A portal fantasy. A deeper look at consciousness. A book that builds upon itself, Exploratory Tales, is perfect for a wide range of ages who are looking for a playful novel that investigates the joys of imagination, satisfaction of creativity, and depths of personal transformation.

Walk to the East

Mikita and Gareth take exploratory walks to the east as spiritual journeys. Each at different times and to settle questions of their own.

The characters are well written . The story moves along after a slow start.

A WONDERFUL JOURNEY OF LOOKING WITH

What amazing clarity the author, Laura Clements has. She leads you on what seems to be a fairytale, however Laura leads you to what's is in within you

In reading this book you find a clarity within your being about your hopes, desires and longings. You will be surprised how gently everything falls into place as you are reminded of the connectivity of all things, which we all need a gentle reminder of from time to time.

This book isn’t my normal read. I liked the characters Gareth,Emma and alysia. I like to see how the characters grew in the story and how everything developed. It was also interesting to read about the talking animals and the insight they gave.

The interconnecting stories of this book read like a modern fairy tale, full of whim and beauty while conveying deeper lessons in wisdom and philosophy for living a balanced and interconnected life.
