OUR SKY IS A LIE.
Long ago an alien armada invaded the Earth and a vicious war for the planet ensued. As the planet was devastated, the ancients were forced to abandon the surface and fled underground to live under a massive sky dome. The tales of the ancients have been passed down through the many years telling of the brutality of the aliens and the efforts of the valiant efforts of those who built the sky dome and provided salvation from the poisoned surface above.
After many generations the sky dome has failed - A broken black panel a void in a sea of sky blue serves as a reminder that their sky is a lie. Over the many years humans and aliens have interbred and live together under the watchful eye of the mechanical drones that enforce the peace from the mysterious black tower that stands in the centre of the dome and is said to hold up the sky.
The orphan Rikks dreams of making the dangerous climb up the black tower. Not quite human and not quite alien, Rikks is a child born of two worlds in ancient conflict. Can he make it to the top of the tower and discover the ancient secret of what lies beyond the sky dome? Will he be the one to learn the secretes of what lies beyond the sky dome and once again walk the surface of the Earth as his ancient ancestors once did?
