A magical Valentine’s Day raising money for charity ends—before it begins—with something unexpected.
Alpha Dash is looking forward to attending a charity auction. Valentine’s Day is for romance, roses and chocolates and as Dash is a romantic at heart, he’s hoping to meet someone special at the event. He treats himself to chocolate but his dog, Biscuit, polishes off the entire box and is promptly ill, leaving Dash to make a mad dash—oops—to the vet.
Avery loves to cook, and the omega is making rocky road for a charity auction that benefits the local children’s hospital. But as he whips up a batch of marshmallow, he’s distracted and his dog, Cookie, knocks over a bowl. As his pet resembles a sticky Christmas ornament, he panics and heads to the vet, hoping they can get rid of the gooey candy that’s stuck to poor Cookie’s head.
With both alpha and omega dressed in a tux but with nowhere to go except a vet’s waiting room, the pair strike up a conversation.
Marshmallow Madness is the fourth book in the Bake Sale Bachelors Season Three series. It features an alpha yearning for romance, an omega who isn’t as good at cooking as he thinks he is, two adorable dogs that you’ll fall in love with at first read, a cute baby, and a Valentine’s Day filled with flowers, candy and love.
Colbie’s characters are sexy, hot, adorable - and often filthy - alphas and omegas. They include feudal lords with dark secrets, outrageous aristocrats with scandals buried deep in their past and poverty-stricken gentleman who have gambled away their inheritance.
Lurking in the background are notorious kings, princesses, and courtiers whose opinions change with each whisper in their ear.
And as for Colbie herself? She dictates her steamy stories with a glass of champagne in one hand. Because why not?
This was book 4 in the "Bake Sale Bachelors Season Three". This was a pretty good read. Omega Avery has entered the bachelor auction he is making rocky road candy while mixing marshmallows his dog cookie gets in the mix and he rushes her to the vet. Alpha Dash is looking to get back into the dating scene so his friend convinces him to go to the auction only while he was in the shower his dog biscuit eats chocolate so he has to miss the auction also. These two meet at the vets office along with a waiting room full of people. I liked this book both of them being too shy to ask the other out. Cookie is a social media hit she gets into a lot of stuff. Dash has been in the past he caught his ex in a car with another Alpha going hot and heavy. There wasn't a lot of drama in this book only Dash's ex Saul showing up. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
ooey gooey sweet fun. Dash and Avery are adorable and perfect for each other. Low angst, sweet HEA is the name of the game and this book delivered. I love all the Bake Sale Bachelors books and season three has yet to disappoint. This is written in Colbie Dunbar usual style so that made for a nice read as usual. I saw someone complain that this book was too cookie cutter and it cracked me up. They are not written to be the next great american novel, they are meant to be a sweet taste of love and happiness. This book very much delivered.
Dash and Avery story was extremely enjoyable and entertaining, with two dogs and lots of friends that make them feel welcome and special. I loved how one ruined auction night by their dogs make them encounter each other in a unique way and their awkward way to flirt and communicate will make you laugh out loud. Their new found friends and one meddling sister helps them to get in touch and to connect in an interesting way. I liked the way the dogs helps with their relationship, how they interact and how they have to be kept away from sweets to prevent another doctor emergency. The ex brings spice to the story and some misunderstanding. His appearance makes possible some changes and some truths reveals. I loved how their bundle of joy joined the world and how they united their destinies in front of their friends and family. I really loved the story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.
Plans change in the sweetest way. Avery and Dash were supposed to be in this year's auction, yet never made. Both had to take their dogs to the vet for a food emergency. Dash's dog ate nearly an entire box of chocolate goodies and Avery's was covered in marshmallow. The lobby full of pet parents had to make their eventual first date one of the cutest pushes to get them together. All their suggestions and Cookie's FB page, ultimately worked in their favor. A first date was brunch with the family. Avery's parents and siblings were really laid back. The long-running joke was about Avery's mother inability to cook so they found ways to not hurt her feelings.
Both being a little rusty in the dating department, their awkward antics made this one sweet treat of a romance for Valentine's Day. Complete with great friends, fun family, dogs who act like four-legged people and a wonderful bundle of joy. That birthing scene, though!!
Marshmallow Madness is Book 4 in the multi-author Bake Sale Bachelor Season Three series. This is a sweet story about Avery and Dash, two dog lovers who happened to meet at the vet's office. Sometimes not having things go as planned, can be the best thing that happens. Both Avery and Dash had been planning on attending the charity auction. They were both all dress up and everything, but their dogs had other plans. I really enjoyed this book. I can still see Cookie all covered in marshmallow. I was glad to see there was going to be more Bake Sale Bachelors books. I've enjoyed the previous seasons and look forward to reading the others in this one. I recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is book 4 of the Bake Sale Bachelors Season 3. Each book in this series is a standalone. They have the connecting theme of the auction to join them. This is the story of Avery and Dash. Avery is an omega and Dash is an alpha. Both are preparing to attend the fundraising auction. However, neither of them make it. They both have dog emergencies that cause them to meet at the vet. In a room full of other strangers and pets, these two dressed up for the auction stand out. The rest of the room watches as they attempt for form a connection. This is their story. It is well written and easy to read. You will cheer for Avery and Dash. It is a cute and quick Valentine story. A nice afternoon read.
In this Valentine's Day ❤ edition of the Bake Sale Bachelors sometimes if something could go wrong it did. Which turned out to be the perfect set up for the Alpha and Omega MCs in this humorous sugary sweet story. It had many of the elements I enjoy in my MM romances. The veterinarian office as a setting, new friends that share their love of animals and good food, friends and family that work together to help the MCs realize their dreams. Both protagonists each really love their canine companions who play integral roles in the lives of their owners. I just wish the couple had been better at communicating but sometimes fear holds you back.
If you want to get your teeth into something sweet, Facebook will deliver all the sweet delights that you could ever want. This is a story about Avery and Dash, who meet at the vet’s because their dogs love sweet treats even though they are bad for them. It is an hilarious story full of cute dogs that just loves candy and it also helps that the owners of these dogs fall in love with each other on valentines and leads to a happily ever after.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
I really loved this. Avery is the bossy but sweet omega that makes reading these romances fun. Dash is the shy and caring alpha that makes you wanna just wrap him him in a smothering hug. These two are really a match and how they met was fate. It was a delight that both are dog lovers and the dogs really did match their personalities. I enjoyed the secondary characters sans Saul(he was awful)...Avery's family was a hoot and the Saturday Night Club was a delight. So much fun I didn't want it to end. A very lovely ending tho:)
Two doggie candy disasters and trips to the vets launch an epic love story.
I so love this series. This book is unique in that both bachelors miss the auction, yet manage to meet and fall in love. Get ready for two dogs with sweet tooths, a mom who doesn't know she can't cook, lots of laughs, lots of sex, and an eclectic bunch of people & pets in the vet's waiting room. Ooh, and the funniest birth scene ever! You are gonna love this book. Be sure to read the rest of the series. I am ready for the next one.
Sweet read . Avery is looking for a fairy tale romance while Dash has given up on romance. While both getting ready to go to an auction their dogs decide to eat chocolate and marshmallow and end up at the vets. Both being shy ignore what the rest of the waiting room is trying to say. No anguish, easy read with a happy ending
Hmm sounds fun. Well except when it is your fur baby that has gotten covered or has eaten said items. This was another good addition to our Bake Sale Bachelor party. You can always expect humor, love, family and a little smexy fun in books by this author. Love ut.
Theses stories are so sweet. Loved the storyline it was fun sweet and has lots of fluff. The thought the characters are perfectly matched and the puppies are adorable. This has a wonderful HEA and Dash and Avery get a perfect HEA.
Novella length story with two rebound men who meet at the vet's due to their dogs' sweet toothes. Dunbar writes a smarmy romance with cute MCs and lots of humor.
With funny and madcap puppies to start Avery and Dash’s story, the rest flows across awkward family encounters to delightful, steamy moments and through so much more!!!
Sweet short romance for Valentine's Day. Loved the scene in the vet's office, the people in the waiting room were hilarious. Great couple. Recommend reading
I love Avery and Dash but could not help to fall in love with their fury companion's Cookie and Biscuit. This story was so adorable whish it was longer.
