Very insightful and visually beautiful book, I was able to correct some facts about him that I had wrong. It was a lovely look at his different types of art, inspiration and information behind them, art instalments and exhibitions and also a peak into the idea behind the famous shredding!

Uno de los mejores libros que han caído en mis manos este año. Y, puesto que estamos a 29 de diciembre, será el último que termine.
Si te interesa la figura de Banksy, si te gusta el arte, la filosofía, las relaciones entre marketing, publicidad y poder, esta obra te será más que provechosa.
Sus autores, los italianos Stefano Antonelli y Gianluca Marziani, recorren veinte años de andadura del mítico artista, desde sus inicios hasta el año 2022, cuando el libro vio la luz. Podrás asistir a la evolución, pero también, a la coherencia y a la fidelidad de unos principios que, la fama y el éxito no han trastocado.
Algunas obras ya las conocerás, otras muchas, es probable que pasen a ser tus favoritas. Banksy es un grafitero, sí, y a mucha honra nos dirá, pero su extensa obra (grafitis, stencils, serigrafías, óleos, exposiciones conceptuales…), sus palabras, sus ideas y sus hechos, lo elevan a la figura de leyenda.
Una de esas leyendas en peligro de extinción, que no solo quieren cambiar el mundo y la lógica neoliberal, sino que muestran horizontes posibles de cómo hacerlo. O, al menos, de cómo intentarlo.

My library has made there politics very clear with all of the new political books filling their catalog. Sadly the new Banksy books I've found doesn't seem to be aligned with their views. I tested this by a suggest to purchase of another Banksy book. That request sat in limbo on my card for almost three weeks. So I deleted my Banksy request and added another book more in line with what they normally add and it was approved in a day. But, luckily a library in another town allows you to get a card from them even if you don't live there which is great. So I was finally able to get this book from that library to read and look at.
This book is more of a Banksy encyclopedia with a lot of information crammed on each page. There's just so much information to read I think it distracts you from the art. I skipped a bunch of stuff and just read bits and pieces and of course enjoyed the greaf art. If you're a Banksy you you'll definitely enjoy this book.

Finalmente un libro su un'artista scritto e impaginato come si deve.
Molto scorrevole pur essendo approfondito e dettagliato.
Il mondo dell'arte e degli artisti è veramente affascinante e conoscere permette di apprezzare ancora di più le opere.

Loved the pieces on Palestine. Everything else was alright. The commentary/analysis was not very good. Banksy seems like a cool guy.
