I absolutely loved the first book on this series  "The Trouble With You" , and I had very high hopes for Jason's story... What can I say, redeemable assholes are a weakness of mine, and Jason was definitely an asshole 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659

The minute I started this one, I was fully engrossed. I could totally get why Felicity chose Jason to pop her cherry ;) He was hot, troubled, mean and oh so sexy. I really wanted them to be together...but... I also wanted Flick to stand up for herself a bit more.  Jason stomped on her feelings again and again and again, and even though I love me some mean assholes... I don't want the heroine to be some kind of a doormat.

don't be a doormat - Google zoeken

Now I am not saying Flick was a doormat, but I am saying she was skating the line here... I guess I like my heroines a bit tougher, they should be able to stand up to those assholes...and for me, Flick was just a tad bit too sweet and forgiving, which is why I could not give this one 5 stars. That's okay though because she didn't change who she was for him... I think plenty of people will absolutely adore her.

Which actually brings me to the next book... I am guessing Asher won't have things quite as easy as Jason, because his newly introduced love-interest, Mya, sure looked like a tough chick to me !! I have a feeling she might be my kind of heroine.

I can't wait to read their story. I fell deeply in love with Asher in this book. He may not be such an asshole but he clearly has some other qualities that have already won me over.

I really love this author's writing style and I hope there will be plenty more to come, I am definitely a fan !!

ooh this was really cute!

did i hate Jason in the first book? yes.
did i want Felicity to end up with Asher? hell yes
did i think nothing will ever redeem Jason? ... yes

as you can see, i loved this dude to pieces.

okay, okay im sorry, enough with the hate.
did Jace redeem himself in this book? Y E S
my heart just went soft for him and the things he did in the first book? forgotten.

so basically, Jace is the stepbrother from hell of the h in the first book, Hailee, and he’s been “bullying” her and the h here, Felicity, ever since Hailee’s mom and his dad got together. at the end of the first book, Hailee walks in on Felicity and Jace doing it. obviously, Jace somewhat regrets it because he can't afford any distractions because he's the QB and he wants to go to NFL blah blah blah. and Felicity did it with Jason because of her "list" but we all know she has feelings for him and vice versa.

so, this definitely has the enemies to lovers and a lot of push and pull. even though i forgave Jace, his actions is one of the reasons why i gave this a mediocre rating.

what i disliked
since there's a lot of push and pull and given how Jason paraded his OW sexcapades in front of Felicity in the first book, there's a little bit of OW drama here (he kissed OW in front of her a few times and when he got jealous of seeing Felicity with Asher when they were at the bar, he got drunk and followed OW in the storage room at the bar and he got a bj).

i really dislike when H is intimate with any other OW after he's been intimate with h ESPECIALLY when Felicity and Jase were making out hours before he hooked up with this OW. so yeah... i didn't really like that and i really wish they talked about this more. he did say he didn't "fuck" her but he also didn't tell her the truth, which was kind of disappointing.

BUT i really appreciate how guilty and remorseful he felt and that's a plus for me. and besides, the OW drama in the last half of the book was more of him protecting Felicity, which ironically, won me over with his character.

another thing i didn't really like was when Felicity would give in too easily, not letting Jason work really hard. don't worry, she's no doormat, she actually fights back but at the same time, she was just too nice and forgave him all the damn time. i just wanted more grovelling tbh.

"I'm not running," I said defiantly.
"Good, because I'd chase you to the ends of the earth. You're mine, Felicity. Every single piece of you.”

anyways, do i still want Asher and Felicity together? yeah...? maybe? idk.
maybe im just biased because Asher is my fave and he really did treat Felicity like a queen in the last book but whatever, Jace has won me over and him and Felicity are actually pretty cute.

can’t wait to read Asher and Mya’s book!

Aside from the other 452 reasons why the Hxh shouldn’t be together:

HIM AND THE OTHER WOMEN:
+-5%
His hand on her (Vaughn) waist, her lips on his neck. The sexual energy rolling off them, infecting everyone in close proximity…

Jenna plastered against him, their lips moving, tongues licking…Jason wasn’t only kissing Jenna, he was devouring her…Sexual energy rolled off them…

+-20%
Marissa's hand grazed my semi-interested dick, commanding my attention…

80% in:
There had been a time when I’d wanted the girl (Aimee, the ex gf) standing before me. Wanted her so bad, I let down my walls. Opened up to her. There wasn’t an inch of her skin I hadn’t tasted. A dip or curve or blemish I hadn’t trailed my lips over…

THE END:

HEROINE:
I fought a grin, still hardly able to believe this strong, scary football god was mine...“I just can’t believe we’re here, after everything.”
ME:
Neither can I, girl.
Neither can I

Sigh…

Besides the fact that he gets into an argument with the h soon after he takes her virginity, was making out with her, then proceeds to go to a closet to get a bj from ow, there’s all this ow stuff that happens throughout.

Getting a bj from ow after being with the heroine is NEVER sexy (to me). His response to being mad at the h is going to get a bj? Yeah. Doesn’t make me believe he’s THAT into the h FFS 🙄. Makes me feel 🥴 just reading about it.

And, of course, the h just takes him back like nothing 🙄.

QB One is officially off the market and I’m sad. 😭

I didn’t think LA Cotton could out do her self after writing The Trouble with you but she just slayed it with The Game You Play.

You don’t chose who you fall in love with.

Where do I start with Jason Ford?
That guy, hot damn. QB1 for the Rixon Raiders, infuriating as hell, cruel, arrogant, football is his everything until one night with Felicity Giles completely rocks his world. Jason’s problem though....

”I couldn’t be committed one hundred percent to the game and committed to some girl.”
”Football was in my blood; my legacy.”

Jason struggles with the pressure of everyone else’s expectations, he struggles with what he wants and he does it all internally, never asking for help. But Flick calms the storm that is swirling inside of Jase and he hates that.

Flick, I loved her so much. She doesn’t put up with Jase’s crap and goes after her own dreams. She hates that she wants him though. She hates that she has feelings for him and can’t do anything about it.

Can we just have a minute to say how much I LOVE ASHER and I need his book! I can’t wait to see that guy bought to his knees! I love him.

A RIXON RAIDER STOLE MY HEART....and I’m not even sorry.

it would’ve been so much better if we weren’t kept in the dark about Jason’s actions and the whys. It literally made it all non-believable at the end. And Fee didn’t ask for an explanation before falling at his arms like girl… she got it, but she was fine kissing him before that lol.

AND THAT TATTOO DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

p.s. ashton is my boy, can’t wait for his book

It´s so bad, this book actually made me revisit my rule of always buying the whole series immediately. This is such a bad portrayal of love, it´s abusive, toxic and over all just poorly written. I usually try to find at least one thing that I enjoyed in a book this one has zero good qualities. Toxic masculinity? Yes! Unhealthy portrayal of love? Double check! Ancient view of sexuality and virginity? Ding, ding, ding we have a winner!

"He wasn't a white knight swooping in to win the damsel's heart. He was the evil Prince out to wreck and ruin and leave a trail of broken hearts in his wake."

Wow, what a game.... Gripping, thrilling, intoxicating... Jason Ford and Felicity Giles are a beautiful disaster, a storm that will blow your mind.

"She reminded me of a doe. Innocent and vulnerable. Waiting to be picked off by the big bad wolf."

Jason, the bad boy whose bitter and cold hurt slowly turns to gold as soon as he allows himself to care. My heart broke for him so many times through the book, and even though I should have hated him, I couldn't bring myself to.

Felicity, the girl with the lists, determined to make her last school year count. She's such a strong personality, and with her constant inner and outer sunshine, Felicity managed to break the icy walls around Jason's heart.

"Jason Ford was the devil in sheep's clothing and I was nothing more than a game wrapped up in a pretty package."

I really do love the new world the author created with the Rixon Raiders series. The characters are all captivating and addicting. The way they work together is like a perfect game you win at the end and I can't wait to read the next book, hoping there will be even more books.

""You're not a means to an end, Giles. You're endgame."

The Game You Play is the next perfect enemies-to-lovers romance in the Rixon Raiders series, showing there is no dangerously sweeter win as love over hate.

I was so ready to love this one. I have a soft spot for grumpy asshole cocky manwhores and their sweet virginal heroines. I fully own it. Love. Adore. This is absolutely my JAM.

HOWEVER.

The reason I love this is because I know it's gonna bring the angst. She's gonna HURT.

But THEN, she stands up for herself and makes him SCRAMBLE. And then GROVEL.

And then we get the SWOOOOOOON.

That's how it's supposed to go. That's the perfect formula.

Did we get that here? We got some if it. But not enough.

He's a major jackass. He should have had to work harder to get into her pants. The reader should have gotten MORE breadcrumbs to point to his reluctant obsession/affection along the way. She should not have just spread her legs every time he crooked a finger. ESPECIALLY since she thought he was still sleeping with others. And he shouldn't have worked so hard to sell his disinterest in the h and his interest in other girls. He was way too passionate with OW in front of her. I don't want to see the H passionate with anyone besides the h. Some lap sitting and play acting? Sure. Full on "the world falls away" passionate embraces with OP? No. No thank you. This needs some work.

The reason I like the manwhore/v card trope is because I want the h to be something different. To actually have morals and standards.. but the way this is written, the only thing different about the h was her actual virginity. She wasn't any different than any of the hos the H was banging. She was just as desperate and easy and pathetic. Which was super annoying.

And when the whole story rolls out and the H reveals what all he's done for her in the name of love, she just simps and opens her legs again.... never calls him to the carpet for the girls she saw him with while he supposedly was in love with her.. he says they were just a "means to an end" but what does that entail? How deep was his cover? Why doesn't she ask him before she forgives him so easily? Then she agrees to have sex with him again, BEFORE he reveals that he didn't sleep with anyone else after he was with her... I wanted her to make him work for it. I would have prefered him to *take* rather than her just give and give and give with enthusiasm. She was waaaaaaay too willing to just let him walk all over her.

That's what I'm looking for with these asshole heros... I want to see him really work for it. And Jason does redeem himself, IMO, but we don't get much payoff for the amount of trauma we've experienced at his hands. There has to be a balance. If you're gonna serve me up hella pain, I need a larger amount of swoon at the end, and we don't quite get there.

Bottom Line? At the end of the day, I didn't hate this book, despite the flaws. I actually liked it MORE than book 1. Jason was way more agressive than Cameron, and that's my jam. I do not like a passive hero, and for the most part, Jason wasn't twiddling his thumbs and watching bad things happen to his h (or participating). He did what I want heros to do... he risked all his dreams to save his h.... So, it gets 3.5 stars. I was very invested and I enjoyed the ride, even if I wanted more from both characters.

SAFETY SQUAD SPOILERS

- cheating - the hero gets a bj (off page) AFTER he's taken the h's v-card but before either of them admitted to feelings or expected fidelity - the H kisses girls in front of the h to push her away (sometimes it was to save her, but not all the times)

- no sharing

- no dubcon

- OW drama - there's a particular OW who causes issues - she's just a regular hook up of the H who he uses to divert his rival - but she definitely causes loads of angst and drama

- OM drama - the H's friend is also interested in the h - and the h has an additional OM interested toward the end of the book

- H is a manwhore and the h is virgin

- condoms used, then not used once it's revealed he didn't sleep with anyone else after their first time

***5 "Endgame!!!" stars***

"You can't help who you fall in love with..."

I knew that I was going to love Jason Ford very much, even though he was a huge broody a$$ most of the times, but near to the end of the book, he was starting to care and that couldn't be ignored!!!!
The truth is that i was expecting that Lianne would take us a trip back to the previous book, in the moments that Jason and Felicity were facing each other, and especially after that ending!!!!
But nope, the story started after the events that had taken place in the end of "The trouble with you"!!!

"He wasn't a white knight swooping in to win the damsel's heart. He was the evil Prince out to wreck and ruin and leave a trail of broken hearts in his wake."

Well, Jason is a big deal in Rixon... He is the biggest football star, the QB, and everyone is loving him... When i say everyone, I mean everyone!!! Except from Hailee, but she is coming around... Bahahaha...
Jason is cruel, cold, broody, arrogant and generally, an asshole!!!
But lately, with this thing between Cameron and Hailee, his best friend and his stepsister, he is starting to change in a way, but he don't need any distractions....
He had to focus on his goals and to need other persons in his life, is nothing more than distraction... Also, it's this damn rival with Thatcher!!!!

"I couldn’t be committed one hundred percent to the game and committed to some girl."

"Felicity deserved Prince Charming, not the misunderstood Knight with a chip on his shoulder and hate in his soul..."

Felicity was a good girl that her path had been planned from her parents since birth... But this is the last year of high school and she wants to experience new things to her, things that are given to other people at her age....
So, she is making that stupid bucket list.... and Hailee is an unwilling assistant!!!!
And then, her best friend's jerk stepbrother is everywhere and she can not resist him...

"Jason Ford was the devil in sheep's clothing and I was nothing more than a game wrapped up in a pretty package."

"She reminded me of a doe. Innocent and vulnerable. Waiting to be picked off by the big bad wolf."

Well, these two couldn't be more opposite, but in a way, they were so right for each other...
I enjoyed very much their story and their banters and their heartbreaks and their making up!!!
It was very refreshing and i can say with the hand on my heart that i think that this story in this series will be my favorite!!!!
Way to go Asher!!!! I love you and i want to see what you have to give me!!!

"I wasn't just a pawn in his game.
I was the goddamn queen.
And this queen wanted her king to kneel at her feet."

"And although I’d never do it, for the first time in my life, I wanted to chase the girl."

‘Jason Ford was a beautiful disaster waiting to happen. And I was right in the eye of the storm.’

The Game you Play is the second book in the Rixon Raiders series by L.A. Cotton and we were eager to find out if the ultimate high school arsehole, Jason Ford would redeem himself after we developed a serious dislike of him in book one; The Trouble With You.

‘He refused to give me the one thing that I really wanted. His heart.’

This Author writes the ultimate angst and enemies to lover’s romance. Readers who love high school bully romance and YA/NA sports romance will LOVE this series. It certainly invoked a lot of emotions in us and we were in a love-hate relationship with a lot of the characters along the way. We now cannot wait for the third book in this series. Whilst they are marketed as standalones we would personally say read this series in order so that -as a reader- you get the most out of the characters and a continuing storyline which simmers in the background to the individual friendships and love stories.

“Sometimes it feels like I can’t breathe without the whole town watching.”

Felicity Giles and Jason Ford have a hate-hate relationship with an intense physical attraction thrown in. Complete opposites, with only one thing in common –Hailee- who is Felicity’s best friends and Jason’s step sister. Felicity is unique and quirky; busy making her lists and following a strict path set by her parents. She’s a loyal and sweet friend who sees the good in people. Jason only has one dream, football. His path is clear, and heaven help anything or anyone who comes between him and his football. The words that come to mind when thinking of Jason are: cruel, cold-hearted and let’s be honest, a bit of a male slapper! School rivalry and personal vendettas rule the school halls – love is the last thing anyone is looking for. It will only complicate things, right?!

‘I wanted that. I wanted to take risks and throw caution to the wind. I wanted to go after what I wanted.’

We really enjoyed the high school dramatics, the soul searching and the sentiments, but we have to say we thrived on the intense angst that was so well written in this story. L.A. Cotton did a brilliant job with redemption and showing that what made the characters act in certain ways did not ultimately define them nor determine who they’d eventually become. Everyone deserves love and happiness because underneath a hard front, a human soft centre resides. ‘

‘And although I’d never do it, for the first time in my life, I wanted to chase the girl.’

In book one I absolutely hated Jason Ford, and I really struggled to see how he was going to redeem himself...and you know what? In THE GAME YOU PLAY it took him a good while to get there but redeem himself he did. QB1 is so cold and cruel that you really don’t believe he deserves someone like Felicity Giles, but in actual fact, she is EXACTLY what he needs and she is such a calming influence on him. I loved those moments when it was just the two of them together, and it was peaceful and they just enjoyed each other’s company, and you really did see that Jason genuinely did just want to be loved. I became so engrossed in their story that I just didn’t want it to end. Of course, there was one character who has had my attention from the very beginning, and his name would be Asher Bennett. I adore this boy SO MUCH, and just can’t wait to read his story and see him get his happy ever after too.

Audiobook review. I’m a rebel and have read these out of order. This can easily be read as a standalone but it gives clues to what happened in the first book.

Jason Ford is a star on the football field but he tries to keep his heart locked away. He wants to focus on his career.

Felicity Giles plays it safe. It’s her final year in high school and she’s made a bucket list. Jason Ford shouldn’t be on her radar but the heart wants what it wants. These two are about to start a love/hate affair.

Can the guy who doesn’t let anyone in let his guard down? Can the girl who follows the rules learn to live a little?

This was great. # competition win

The Game You Play is still a good story. Miss Cotton gives us all the vibes being a college year. The party, the social status, the IT corwd, the jock, the nerd and the football.

What made me give only 3 stars is simply because I do not like Felicity. She is suppose to be this sweet, strong, nerd heroine. Her push and pull with Jason sometimes annoy me to no end. Jason is a jerk wannabe. I wish Miss Cotton can be more dramatic with Jason.

Anyway, it is a very hot humid in here. Full blast AC still not helpful.

Audiobook review. I quite enjoy the angst and tension created by bully / enemies to lovers romances. I was looking forward to this book because in book one, Jason Ford was moody, broody, and mean. His rivalry with a player from another team has been making the lives of this group of friends impossible.

As with most romances in this genre, our main characters Felicity and Jason are resistant to their attraction. Mistakes were made along the way and Jason made some choices that I REALLY was not a fan of. However, I understand that it added elements of contention to the story. Felicity leaned more toward doormat than strong heroine but she had a kind heart and was still entertaining.

The plot was interesting and I liked that the interconnected conflict was taken more seriously this time. The pace was good until the end where the transition for Jason’s big realization happened abruptly.

The secondary characters were used effectively and I’m definitely curious about what happens next for these couples.

I didn’t really find any issues at all with the narration. Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross brought their A game like they always do.

RECENSIONE QUI: https://thereadingslove.blogspot.com/...

description

The Game You Play is a fantastic blend of sweet, sexy romance and the kind of angst, emotion and playful banter that readers have come to crave from this author. A fabulously executed, lighthearted pleasure to read, I positively devoured this book and loved every single word of it.

Jason Ford is cocky, arrogant and a troublemaker, but he is also the golden boy of football at Rixon. Football is the most important thing in his life. He doesn't have time for anything else. He doesn't do commitments. He doesn't fall in love. He only cares about winning State, going to UPenn and ultimately being drafted into the NFL. And everything is going as planned until she interferes, and he doesn't like it one bit. She is a distraction and definitely one he doesn't need.

Felicity Giles is kind and quirky with her whole life already mapped out for her. She is to follow in her parent's footsteps by graduating high school, going to college at UPenn and getting her business degree. But that's not what she really wants to do. She wants to explore her options and find something she's passionate about. But in the meantime, it's her senior year and she wants to make the most of it, so she puts together a bucket list of all that she wants to do before she graduates. And falling in love with the quarterback was definitely not part of the plan.

I loved Jason and Felicity's story! Their chemistry was fiery hot and absolutely burned up the pages. I loved seeing how their love-hate relationship slowly blossomed into a sweet and beautiful romance. These are two characters that I was happy to go on this journey with. It wasn't always easy for them, but together they were able to conquer it all.

Once again, this author delivered a story that I loved and couldn't have stopped reading if I tried. I devoured The Game You Play in a day, smiling and loving it the whole way through. It was sexy, sweet and an absolute delight to read. Please do yourself a favor and make sure not to pass this one up! It is well worth the time and the money spent.

*** 3.25 stars ***
Alright so first of all, Jason Ford is not an ideal hero! All the stars just for Felicity and her pure heart!

Felicity is a pure hearted, naive girl who just want someone to love her unconditionally.💕 She's so innocent that she doesn't realise the games Jason plays with her and continues to love him instead.

The writing style is amazing but the whole situation doesn't sit well with an eighteen year old's story. The characters's age is way too young for all this drama.

In 85% of the book Jason was an A grade asshole who didn't deserve a girl like Felicity. He's selfish, rude and doesn't care about anyone. It's like he's a machine! He's an alpha asshole! I DIDN'T like him at all. End of the story!

Five hate/love stars for Felicity and Jason 💞!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

L. A. Cotton became with this book one of my favorite YA authors ❤!!!

This book is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to read the next book in this series, Asher's story (I'm sorry Cam and Jason but I fell in love with Ash, trough reading "The Trouble With You" 😅).

The opposites attract...

This is totally true for Felicity and Jason 😍!!!

Felicity's and Jason's relationship is one of that just explode and from hate there finally come love, what every girl dreams about.

If you're looking for a book with angst, enemies to lovers trope and YA genre, then this is the book you should read!

Highly recommended!!!

"I was the goddamm Queen. And this queen wanted her king to kneel at her feet"

Why am I enjoying these books so much?
Was definitely here for Felicity and Jase I adored the romance between them. He really redeemed himself in this one considering how much I didn't like him in the first one.
Not here for the constant use of the word endgame as if we are on an episode of riverdale.

I don't even know what to rate it. I think I liked it more than the last one but more questionable things happened.

ITS JUST A GOOD TIME OKAY.
DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE PEAK OF LITERATURE.

Freaking LOVE Jase! Yea, he’s been a huge a** BUT I have a weak spot for the mad broken ones. ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been waiting what feels like forever for Flick and Jason’s story! They love and hate equally...until it changes and they love more than they hate! Jase refuses to give up his dream of the NFL...it’s his endgame and he makes sure EVERYONE knows this including Flick! At first it’s what she expects from him but then he shows part of himself to her that makes he want to be his endgame! She wants what her friend has, Jase makes her want that with him.
I don’t want to say too much. I hate giving spoilers and it’s too easy to start talking spoilers without realizing it with this one! So good!
LA Cotton just spun one amazing enemies to lovers! The angst, the hate and anger, the sizzling attraction between Jase and Flick!

⭐️ 5 "QB1" Stars ⭐️
After being introduced to L.A. Cotton’s work with The Trouble with You, I just was so eager to dive back into the Rixon Raiders Series with The Game You Play! I was so intrigued about how the hot and cold relationship between Felicity and Jason would unfold! Let’s just say that after the first novel, it was more than apparent that the star quarterback is a true jerk, but I wanted to unveil his multiple layers and know the guy inside!

I knew Jason wasn’t all bad and omg… how he’s so amazing in this story! It’s all back and forth and animosity between him and Felicity, but their sizzling attraction is undeniable! With her, he shows a little bit of his true self, but it’s a slow process! Under his big player exterior, Jason is a boy with big expectations on his shoulders with being the town hero. It’s difficult to bear at times!

Felicity, oh how I love her! She’s so authentic and unapologetic! She’s really sweet and quirky at times, but it’s what makes her so interesting. She wants to experience new things for her last year of high school and her bucket list pushes her out of her comfort zone! She has hard decisions to make about her future, but she’s conflicted by her parents own desires for her! She’s a good girl at heart, but Jase brings a daring and defiant side of her.

This new provocative attitude only creates more sparks between them! Their dynamic produces scorching hot moments, also highlighted with growing feelings! I love, love them so much!

Seeing the whole gang from book one is once again marvellous! Asher is his jokester self and Hailee and Cameron are couple goals. There’s also a new girl in the clique; Mya is so interesting and reliable and I can’t wait to know more about her!

L.A. Cotton brings the football fever to a peak with the Raiders in their final path toward the State Championship! Once again I was immersed in this high school sports atmosphere! The Game You Play is a pure enjoyment and so addictive!

4.25⭐️

This series is keeping me FED. I binged Jason and Felicity’s book as hard as Hailee and Cameron’s but I didn’t enjoy it as much.

The possessiveness, the touch her and you die, the enemies to lovers, the best friends brother was all 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 for me, I couldn’t get enough. I’m head over heels in love with any type of push and pull and these 2 were hot and cold like crazy 🤣🤣🤣 honestly it was delicious 🫠

I loved Jason’s character ARC, he felt so real to me with relatable characteristics. I’m obsessed with any level of jealous shown so the whole OW stuff didn’t bother me. If you’re single you’re single 🤷🏽‍♀️ and the grovel was decent enough to make up for it.

What I didn’t like is that their whole relationship felt rushed ?? And we missed out on how it developed in the first place. We already know a lot happened between Jason and Felicity in book one, and whilst I didn’t want to read another book with the same timeline, I hoped their key moments would be touched upon. Felicity had been Jason’s stepsisters best friend for years, he was always so focused on football, so what changed? When did this chemistry start between them? That wasn’t expanded on. At the start of the book they’d already banged due to the one night stand at the end of the first book, but it’s not explained how they got to that point.

The star of this book was Asher tho, I CANT WAIT TO READ HIS BOOK!!!!!!!

It was fun! But I definitely liked the first book better.
I felt like there was a lot of miscommunication between the main characters and the “broken bad boy” issue the MMC had annoyed me a bit, I didn’t really connect with the main characters but other than that it was pretty enjoyable. If you can’t tell i’m a girl who lives for drama and there’s definitely a lot of that going on in these.
