This Malaki's story, Honey and Daemon's friend. You don't need to read Grumpy wolf to read this book.
I really enjoyed this book right from the start, Malaki and Vanessa had the instant connection, but instead of rushing into it, they got to know each other. These two did not have an easy past and it made them guarded, but they couldn't stay away from each other. I loved how Malaki let Vanessa set the pace, but Vanessa didn't let drag on she met him pace for pace.
We get more action with the ant-supers and Vanessa kicked some major butt especially against her ex-boyfriend, Grayson. The ending was just so cute and I couldn't wait to see what lies ahead for them. It must be said Malaki and Vanessa have awesome friends, I especially loved Gia, but Malaki's niece, Lydia, was so cute and brave.
We get to see Honey and how her life is progressing with Daemon, so cute!
The next book is on Kei, Malaki's brother from another mother.

As the town’s vet, everyone knows who she is and when her car breaks down, the mechanic who comes to her rescue, she is instantly attracted to him, which has never happened before.
Malaki has a very valid reason for hating the anti-supers who target those they do not understand, and are jealous of what they can do. I have mixed emotions abt this story & I just kept losing interest. I felt this book had potential but just felt flat. The story itself is 15 chapter & on Chapter 13 she got kidnapped & on chapter 15 the bad guy died or got arrested & they lived happily ever after. I didn’t like it at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline.
I've only read a few shifter books and really enjoyed reading about Vanessa and Malaki. Really liked the way the whole community at Wolf Creek came together to help out when another in the community is in trouble. So glad things ended well for Vanessa and Malaki.

Mechanic Wolf # 2
This was very good. I liked the way that they took their time getting to know about each other. I really felt sorry that in the end she had to face her past so radically. I'm really glad the author didn't drag out the whole encounter and she was able to end things in a great was.

This is the story of Malaki and Vanessa. I enjoyed the fun moments in this story as the chemistry between them grows. There are secrets which added the intrigue that had me turning the pages. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Acting against fear

This second book was better then the first. I couldn't put this one down. Vanessa had been to hell and back. But she fell pretty fast for Maliki. He was always there for her and showed her what good love could be.

Very enjoyable read, with many supernatural beings together in a small town. Malaki and Vanessa came together slowly unlike other paranormal books were it’s instant sex. I like a slow build.
I’m going to read the next book with hope of similar enjoyment.

I'm so glad I found this new to me author.
I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of suspense with this book along with the drama and romance. It was a nice mix.

I am not even halfway through with this book but that first quick little sex scene in the shower. Author ma'am my heart can't take this.
