As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with. I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
Carson is the first book in a wonderful new series by this author. She blends swoony romance with exciting suspense.
“…this… giving my heart back to you… trusting my heart with you… I’m scared.”
Jeannie Carnes gets caught up when Carson Dyer is investigating a drug smuggling operation. While trying to make sure Jeannie stays safe, Carson’s heart falls victim to the beautiful nurse.
“Baby, you give me another chance, and I’ll do everything in my power every day to take away your fear and your doubt.“
I love this story and can’t wait to read more as the rest of the West Coast “Keepers” find their HEAs. -5 Stars-
This review is for Carson, the first book in the LSI-West Coast. Carson is in charge of the west coast Keepers and is partnered with Mace who is in charge of the east coast Keepers. He has been working really hard to get his business up and running for a long time and before that he had another business that kept him equally busy. All the time he’s been working has not given him time to have a personal life and with this vicious cycle, he’s grown accustomed to being alone. When he went to Maine to see how Mace set up his business, he saw all the guys paired off and he never thought that life was for him. Even though he talked himself into believing he was better off alone, seeing those guys paired off and happy made him think twice but he didn’t think he had time to meet a woman with whom he could settle down.
While on a mission Mexico he sees a beautiful woman who reminds him of someone special from his past. The mystery woman from his past was an Army nurse who helped him while he was at his lowest and then he shipped out never getting her name. Her memory has haunted him for years, so imagine his surprise when she is involved with people he is investigating!
Jeannie is an ER nurse and during a sabbatical she is taking to work for the Red Cross, she is hired to be a private nurse for an elderly woman while she recuperates from a bad fall. She is at a crossroads in her career and life and isn’t really sure what she wants to do when this assignment is over. Working in a busy ER has left her little time to meet anyone special and has begun to burn her out which is why she took the sabbatical. She has had a few relationships over the years but no one special.
Jeannie meets Carson in a unique way and doesn't appreciate his insertion into her life. While she feels a strong attraction to him, she doesn't like his bossiness and has no problem letting him know. She is feisty, strong, determined, seems to know her worth and has no problems speaking her mind to Carson. Poor Carson makes a mess of things with her several times but due to a good friend who gives him Relationship 101 advice, an ability to recognize he has done wrong and accept it, and Jeannie's forgiving nature he gets a few chances to get things right. These two have great chemistry and a true desire to see the other happy and safe. The suspense and mission that Carson is working on is interesting and kept me turning the pages well into the night!
Overall this was a great start to the new spinoff series of Keepers and I can't wait for each to get his own story. It is always tough in book one when introducing a new crew and there are many new names to learn but I am sure we will make it! Even though this is a new group of guys and a new coast, it's got the same heart and same Maryann Jordan magic that we know and love. Carson and Jeannie will be a great foundation for the new Keepers to join and can we talk about how handsome Carson is?!
In this first book of the West Coast Keepers, we get to know Carson Dyer. He's the head of LSI-WC and is out to prove his company can handle the special operations required by the FBI and DEA. He's assembled an eight-man team of former spec ops, Richard Rankin, Lionel Parker, Jeb Torres, Adam Calvin, Frederick Poole, Terrance Bennett, Jonathan Dolby and Hop, call sign for Frank Hopkins, is their pilot. At his lighthouse he has Rachel Moore their administrative assistant and Theodore 'Teddy' Bearski their weapons and equipment manager. We'll get to see all of these folks in this book and I'm sure the rest of the series as well.
This first mission is to set up surveillance on the Garza Wineries in Mexico. It's while on this mission that Carson first sees Jeanne Carnes. She's been hired as a nurse to one of the Garza's mother-in-law.
Carson is of a single mind set to make LSI-WC successful in all ways, he's obsessed with perfection. He's having difficulty coming to terms with the fact he can't get Jeanne out of his mind, even though they've never actually met.
Burned out at her ER job, Jeanne had taken a six month Red cross tour in Mexico to figure out where she wants her life and career to go. It's there that Garza's asked for her to be the nurse for Maggie Collins while she's recuperating from a fall. The Red Cross administrator, Dr. Cortez encourages her to take the position and consider it a vacation.
Maggie is also an American and her niece, Cheryl is married to Vincent Garza who runs the winery in California. The winery here in Mexico is run by Vincent's brother Alonzo. With all the opulence Maggie also wonders if all their money comes from the vineyards, it seems like they never have the issues other wineries do.
Once back in the states, Jeanne visits Maggie at the vineyard where she's staying until she's able to move to her condo. Fortunately, that would be soon, but Vincent's son Juan had learned of Maggie and Jeanne's conversation about the winery's finances and wants to keep an eye on Maggie. He plans to drug her a bit to make her feel ill so she stays on. This occurrence is what has Carter and Jeanne meeting.
Carter and his team are doing some additional surveillance at the California Winery, having to do with the trucks coming and going. Then a car shows up and the intruder turns out to be Jeanne.
From this point on things heat up quickly in more ways than one.
Poor Carson has no idea what's come over him but all his co-workers do. Rachel in particular has plenty to say to him. Jeanne is just as confused but she also needs to make decisions about her future employment.
I loved all the action and suspense as Jeanne and Carson figure out their relationship.
This is book one in The Lighthouse Security Investigations West Coast Series and it is Carson and Jeannie's story and what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Carson has partnered with Mace who running the same operation which is very successful but Carson is on the west coast and was doing something that he really enjoyed with a great taskforce of employees who are all military trained and are the best of the best but now they are Lighthouse Keepers and Protectors. Jeannie was a nurse in the military but now she is out and working in a busy ER department but she felt restless so decided to help the red cross in Mexico but a week before she was due to go back home she ended up helping a lady called Maggie who fell and needed care so Jeannie ended up staying with Maggie at the family vineyard to help her until they return back home. Jeannie and Maggie have stayed friends but things are not what they seem and Jeannie and Maggie are in danger and that is when Carson and Jeannie meet. Carson is investigating Maggie's family and Jeannie ends up helping but wants Maggie to stay safe but danger is just around the corner and there are eye's and ear's everywhere getting ready to strike but will they get out alive. Carson and Jeannie have really strong chemistry between them and they are so perfect for each other but will they be able to get over there differences to get the happy ending that they both deserve. There are twists and turns along the way that makes this book a real page turner that I couldn't put down as it was so addictive and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout and it was so addictive and definitely a must read. Maryann Jordan is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats and her book's are definitely worth reading.
So, Lighthouse Security Investigations are bi-coastal and what a brilliant start to the LSI-West Coast series. Carson Dyer the owner and leader of LSI-WC is driven to make his business as much of a success as it’s East Coat counterpart and he is just as dedicated to the former special ops guys he employs. Working to support the DEA in bringing down a cross border drug smuggling operation connected to wineries in Mexico and the USA, the LSI Team are struggling to work out how the drugs are being transported across the border. In the midst of their operation Carson comes across ER nurse Jeannie Carnes a former army nurse. Carson is shocked by his reaction to Jeannie, seeing her beautiful eyes reminds him of his past. Jeannie's connection to the winery owners throws the pair on a collision course and their mutual attraction soon burns fast and bright. Of course, it's never plain sailing and why would we ever want it to be? Struggling with his responsibilities Carson agonises over starting a relationship with gorgeous, level headed Jeannie and managing and growing his business and looking after his men. Can he trust her, can open his heart, can he have it all? Jeannie has reached her own crossroads, she's lonely and frustrated and burned out by her demanding job but is uncertain of the path she wants to follow. They both great characters, they are real, they make mistakes but they can admit to them and work on making it right. There is plenty of action and danger as well as romance with a protective alpha hero and a strong, independent heroine. Throw in a twisty intriguing plot and the excitement of meeting so many new characters and this is an absolute winner. I received an arc from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Wow! What an AMAZING start to the new spin-off series of Lighthouse Investigations West Coast. Since leaving the armed services, Carson Dyer has worked hard building his own company. He first dabbled in providing security to the stars, dignitaries, etc. But that was never his true goal. Carson was given the opportunity to partner with friend and ex Special Forces member Mace Hanover to start up his own version of LSI. His first major assignment has his team investigating a Mexican cartel. During his investigation, he comes across a “familiar” face, but can’t quite place her. But the desire to know more about her grows exponentially.
Jeannie Carnes, former military nurse and exhausted ER nurse, finds herself at a crossroads. After an incident in the ER, Jeannie isn’t sure she can return to her job. So she takes time off to volunteer as a Red Cross nurse. While volunteering, Jeannie is given the opportunity to make a lot of money caring for Maggie as a private duty nurse. It’s an easy job and she adores Maggie, but Maggie’s extended family gives her the creeps. While caring for Maggie, she becomes suspicious of how the family’s winery makes so much money. When Maggie also expresses concern and mysterious things start happening, Jeannie is even more concerned. Then she stumbles upon Carson…
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the start to this spin-off!!! A lot of times, spin-offs aren’t as good and not as engaging. This is NOT the case with LSI West Coast. I absolutely loved their previous connection. The story was engaging and an absolute page turner! I can’t wait for the next story. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
had to read this book twice just to make sure it was as wonderful as I’d first thought. IT WAS!!! I liked Carson’s introduction to a new series LSI-WC. Heck that’s not right… I LOVED Carson. He is such a stunning character. All alpha male, rugged, protective and always wanting to give 100%. Who wouldn’t fall in love with this man!Jeannie is a wonderful character, full of empathy, caring and love. She’s a strong independent woman who has realised that she wants more to life. I love her inner strength. She’s the absolute perfect partner for Carson. She’s strong enough to accept and deal with his work and forgiving enough to open her heart to him when she’s scared spitless. I find Carson’s ability to work through his behaviour or actions and realise what he’s done wrong and apologise to be both endearing and refreshing. The chemistry between Carson and Jeannie shines like a beacon. It’s beautiful to watch their love unfold. I couldn’t help but be jealous at Jeannie’s success at being a super spy. I’d love to have all those gadgets!!!! Maryann Jordan is a perfect example of how a truly dedicated author can take a series and with book after book turn it into an epic ongoing drama that just unfolds and embraces you in welcoming an old friend. Although this is a first book in a spin off series but holy moly it started off with a sky full of fireworks. I absolutely loved, loved, loved it. 5 stars are nowhere near enough to promote this book. A million star review. Can’t recommend highly enough.
This talented author does it again! She delivers another wonderful story in the first book of the new series centering around the West Coast branch of the much loved series Lighthouse Security. The leader/owner of this division is Carson Dyer. A man dedicated to his business and like his counterparts in the East, his group is made up of former elite warriors ready to complete a mission and protect those in need. In the midst of a collaboration with the DEA and FBI trying to find out how drugs are being transferred between Mexico and the USA through a winery, he is shocked to see a woman that reminds him of his past. Jeannie Carnes, an ER nurse, is a former Army nurse that did a tour in Afghanistan. She’s unsure of her future and finds herself as a temporary nurse to a sweet elderly lady. As Jeannie and Carson meet and a relationship begins so does the danger. Can she be trusted? Is she the same nurse? Is Carson willing to open his heart while still strengthening his business? Even worse, what happens when the danger comes too close for comfort? This is an engaging story from the first to the last page. The main characters are well developed and we get a glimpse of the other members of the group whose stories I am sure will occur in the future. Definitely a series I will continue to enjoy. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Carson and Jeannie's story is a wonderful start to a new spin-off series from Ms. Jordan. Carson is just starting to get his new business off the ground and he has no time for love, but of course, fate has other plans.
The story is fast-paced and full of action and romance. Jeannie is an emergency room nurse who has worked in Afghanistan and Los Angeles. She is a wonderful character who is caring and kind. She can also kick ass when she has to. She is strong and independent but contemplating a job change. She has seen a lot in her years as a nurse and the 12-hour shifts are getting to her. Carson is an alpha male who is known for his patience until he meets her. He is sexy and protective but also human so he makes mistakes. Ms. Jordan's characters are realistic and I enjoyed getting to know Maggie, whom Jeannie is tasked with taking care of at the beginning of the story but they quickly become friends. Maggie is spunky and intelligent and kind. She reminded me of my grandmother in some ways.
Jeannie and Carson have also met before briefly but that brief meeting stayed with Carson until he met her again. So in a small way, this is a second chance love story with drug lords, the DEA, and danger thrown into the mix. I am very excited to see what Ms. Jordan has in store for the rest of the West Coast Keepers as this series moves on.
I just can’t get into these books. They start off really well and I was really enjoying this one, then it was boring. At 249 pages it isn’t overly long, but it feels it at times.
Jeannie is a nurse who is looking after an elderly lady, whose family is being investigated by the DEA and LSI are helping. At first Carson (Who is Mace’s partner.) thinks Jeannie must be a part of it. When it’s proven that she isn’t Carson is determined that no-one will hurt her, from the drug cartel family. It did get really exciting at one point, as Jeannie stumbles around oblivious to the danger and Carson can’t tell her anything as it’s a classified op.
Then it goes off the boil, really quickly. One minute Carson is fighting the attraction between them, then Carson and Jeannie start having sex, and falling in love. I don’t understand how they’re falling in love as they barely know each other, and have had sex multiple times. I didn’t feel any chemistry between them, and it all felt rather staged. I didn’t lose myself in this book.
The danger that Jeannie is in never amounts to much either. Considering how dangerous the family are, and how Juan (The cartels son.) seems fixated on her, I thought it was going to be amazing. Hmmm I don’t understand how the author missed so many opportunities to make it brilliant.
This is an amazing start to this new series. I could not put Carson down. The action starts from the first page and doesn’t stop. Carson heads up LSI- West Coast and sets the bar high for this team. All are seasoned members of special ops and come together to protect those who need a Keeper. Carson has partnered with Mace and the original LSI Keepers to expand the Keepers to the West Coast. You meet his team in this new beginning book and I can’t wait to read their stories.
Carson and team is working a mission with DEA on his current case and has high expectations for himself and his team.
Jeannie is a nurse who fulfilled her duties to her country, worked in busy ER, served with Red Cross and now with private family.
As Carson and Jeannie meet and start to build a relationship the adventures begin. There are twists, turns, intrigue and suspense. As danger gets closer they must learn to trust and love.
The book is well written and the characters are believable. The story captures you from the first page and I for one can’t wait to read the next book.
Maryann Jordan has written another 5 star book. I received an ARC for an honest review but also purchased as Maryann Jordan is definitely a one click author for me.
Carson is the first book in the LSI-WC series a spin-off of LSI. We were introduced to Carson in the last LSI book when he became a partner of Mace. I really loved the LSI-WC assignment (mystery) which takes center stage in the book. Jeannie is a burnt out ER nurse working a stint as a Red Cross nurse. She ends up taking care of a wonderful elderly woman named Maggie. The two forge a friendship. The mystery takes place around Maggie's niece's family by marriage and their wineries in CA and Mexico. The DEA suspects those businesses of transporting drugs but do not have the resources the find out so LSI-WC is hired. Carson and Jeannie met briefly years ago once their minds are jostled they both remember it. As Jeannie tends to Maggie first in Mexico and then on her niece's vineyard in CA Carson realizes both women are in harms way. As the mystery heats up so does the relationship between Jeannie and Carson. With Jeannie's help as an "insider" Carson's team finally has the missing link to close the case. A good start to this spin-of series, I look forward to the next romance and mystery in book 2.
East coast, west coast, north or south…it doesn’t matter when this author has another hit series in her pocket. We were introduced to Carson when he met with Mason and has a business proposition for him…open a West Coast office, signing him on. No hesitation on Mason’s side and now West Coast LSI is born with more Keepers and lucky…very lucky us…more stories. Starting off with Carson and Jeannie, a nurse who has been looking after the aunt, who’s niece married into a family with a dark secret and unfortunately Jeannie gets caught up in all of it. Now Carson needs to trust the woman with his side of the investigation, not tipping off the family, navigating a new business to prove himself and keep his team safe….will he be able to do it all and keep the woman he has fallen for….read and find out!! A great read and an amazing start to the LSI - WC series with steam, suspense, some action and amazing characters. The story flowed beautifully w/o skipping a beat and with a teeny bit of drama that was not blown out of proportion nor went on and on and on…loved it. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Carson Dyer is the leader of the new Lighthouse Security Investigations, West Coast branch. His partner, Mace runs LSI Maine. Both branches are comprised of former military special operatives from varied branches of the services. They investigate and overcome criminal activities including hardcore drug cartels, International sex slavery and many other horrendous crime pursuits. This first book of the series follows the latest LSI - WC mission that involves discovering the links in a drug cartel distribution system between Mexico and the USA. During their latest operation they have identified innocents caught up in the situation. Carson realizes Jeannie Carnes, one of the apparent innocents, is someone he crossed paths with in his past. He remembers her fondly. She becomes integral to the LSI-WC mission in uncovering the drug activity. Her smart, brave and intuitive actions fit perfectly with Carson. The combination of Carson, Jeannie and all the WC team provide an intelligent, satisfying and complete conclusion to this very well written suspenseful military style romance.
If you love and you should Maryann Jordan’s Light House series you’ll love the new LightHouse west coast. Carson is Mace’s partner running the west coast, him and his crew (btw can’t wait to see the rest of these guys fall) are working for the DEA and FBI to find how drugs are flowing between two wineries owned by brothers, one in Mexico one in California. Carson catches a glimpse of a woman caring for an older woman while doing reconnaissance while all of the family is supposed to be away. While working for the Red Cross in an er she takes care of an elderly woman that has fallen. The family requests that she comes with them to keep taking care of Maggie. They form a bond that stays as they both return to California…..and that’s where the trouble begins. I love this story, how the meeting of Carson and Jeannie may not be the first, how strong Jeannie is and can hold her own. How Carson though smart can just be as stupid as any man. Another strong start to a new series.
I am always a sucker for any story that MaryAnn Jordan writes but add the heroine being a ER nurse and I am hooked. Even though Jeannie taking time off from being in the ER doesn't mean that trouble doesn't seem to find her. She meets Carson (the owner of the new partner company to Lighthouse Security) when he has to safe her from being in the middle of his case. When they meet it is as if they had known one another before...they figure out that she was his nurse when they were in Afghanistan. While Carson is the alpha male that we have learned to expect and love from MaryAnn Jordan Jeannie is also the heroine we expect. She is caring and nurturing to her patient Maggie but also does not take anything from anyone. This story is filled with many different twist and turns that I could not put it down. I can't wait to watch this couple grow as we read and learn about the other members of this new agency.
Carson now has what he's wanted in his security company thanks to hooking up with long time friend Mace and LSI, now a west coast division, the best of the best as the saying goes, Carson comes across striking eyes that take him back to his military service and injuries during a surveillance of the drug traffickers they are trying to find for the DEA, Jeannie is in Mexico as a red cross nurse volunteering and ended up a private duty nurse to Maggie a feisty older women, being at the right place at the wrong time puts Jeannie and Maggie in the crosshairs, edge of your seat reading, exciting, page turning, and when those eyes meet again sparks ignite, absolutely beautiful, another winner from Maryann Jordan, I have voluntarily read and review this ARC, thank you for the privilege, Dana Zamora
I received an ARC for an honest review This is the first book in the new lighthouse west coast series and it started with a bang. The original lighthouse security investigations was the first ever series I read from Maryann Jordan so it holds an extra special place in my heart. I was so happy that this book held all of the same magic that I loved from the originals with a whole new crew to fall in love with. Carson was amazing, maybe a little hard headed but was quick to realise when he stuffed up and did everything to make it right. Jeannie was fantastic as well! I honestly haven’t connected with a female main character in a while but there wasn’t a single thing about her that I didn’t love, she knew exactly what she wanted and didn’t fluff around with getting it. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the group as well.
A strong woman for the head Keeper. Carson is focused on managing his new Lighthouse Security and Investigations-West Coast business and doesn't have time for much else in his life. Jeannie is a burned-out nurse trying to figure out her next move. When an investigation puts Jeannie in Carson's path, he struggles to juggle his budding relationship and his business, not wanting to let his Keepers down. And, of course, he messes up and needs to beg forgiveness from Jeannie. Jeannie is tough enough not to take any *beep* from anyone, including the man she was losing her heart to. But she's open enough to listen to his apology. The two together work. They compliment each other perfectly. The suspense carries throughout the story in a way that keeps you turning pages. You know something is going to go wrong, but you don't know what or how. Another winner from Maryann Jordan.
Maryann Jordan fans will remember meeting Carson, the head of the all-new LSI West Coast, in Josh, but we really get to now him here. He’s driven, intent on making this branch successful and not letting his team or Mace down, so there’s no room for anything but work. Well, until Jeannie ends up in the crosshairs of his latest investigation. She’s a nurse, who has taken a sabbatical doing Red Cross work, and lands up home nursing a US patient in Mexico. That patient – on the compound that the Protectors are investigating. It felt as though there was perhaps more intrigue in this book, but that’s hard to say really, since Maryann Jordan’s books have both intrigue, tension, and romance, and the way Jeannie fits in with the other LSI wives and partners is a lovely scene. I have a feeling LSI West Coast books are going to be right up there with my favorites.
This is a great start to the West Coast series. Carson is starting a West Coast branch of Lighthouse Security and Jeannie is a nurse who is taking some time off from her job in the ER. When Carson first meets her, he feels like he knows her from somewhere. Come to find out she was his nurse in Afghanistan. While on her break she becomes Maggie's nurse which puts her right in the middle of his investigation into a drug family which makes things interesting. I really liked Jeannie's character how she doesn't take anything from anybody but is also kind and caring as we see her with Maggie. There's twists and turns, danger, suspense, drug cartel and romance. Can't wait to see what happens next with this bunch of Keepers.
Great book to start the Westcoast Keepers for Lighthouse Security. Carson Daly leader of the Westcoast Keepers if feeling optimistic about his future and has started working with his newly hired team. They are currently working with the DEA on a case. Jeannie Carnes is a former military nurse who was working for the Red Cross after taking some time off from her ER job. She was hired to be a nursing companion to a local family who own a winery. Carson and Jeannie's path intersect due to the case Carson is working. They strike up a relationship after meeting and it's hot. This was a fast paced well written book by Maryann Jordan. I enjoy everything I read by her and highly recommend. Can't wait for the next in the series.
I enjoyed this introduction to the LSI-WC group. We met Carson in the LSI series, & he seemed very focused & intense. He is the same in his book, but also starts off as a bit of a jerk. He needs to get his head outta his tukus! Lol
Jeannie is strong & smart, , I liked the way she is so protective of Maggie, & how she handles Carson when he's a jerk. 😉 Also how she handles his work-life.
Eventually I warmed to Carson, too, and overall enjoyed their story! And the suspense was well done as always! Leo's sneak-peek is intriguing...
I had the privilege to read Maryann Jordan’s newest book. As always, Maryann has written a great book. Carson is a spin off the Lighthouse Security and Investigation series. But this is the West Coast branch of the business. Carson remembers having seen Jeannie in the past whilst in the hospital recovering from an injury received during a mission. Even though it’s been a while, he remembers something about her from that hospital visit. Jeannie feels that she is being watched. Well, Carson and Jeannie end up meeting. Chaos reigns down and they have their HEA. I Loved this book.
Each book keeps on getting better and better. Jeannie is an ER nurse that is looking for something new. She decides to take a break and to breathe in some fresh air. She gets hired to take car of an elderly lady that she adores and gets mixed up with a case. Carson has started up LSI WC with some of the best of the best. He’s not looking for anyone and has a full plate with his business. They get a new case and up pops Jeannie. Flashbacks happen and meetings galore a plan is in action.
Another FANTASTIC story by Maryann! We learn about the leader of the West Coast Lighthouse team. His meeting Jeannie when he was injured was basically the start but they wouldn't meet for quite some time later. Gotta love Maggie. She is very spirited. The story gets intense towards the end but we get to know this couple throughout this book. FANTASTIC job Maryann! I would recommend this book!
Great start to a spinoff from the Lighthouse Security series. Carson has started the West Coast branch of LSI and these guys are just as amazing as the guys in Maine. Sizzling hot romantic suspense that readers of Maryann Jordan have come to expect. Awesome characters and always a sweet story.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is a great start to a new spin off series in the Lighthouse Security world. Very well written. It will have you flipping pages. I couldn't put it down. Lots of action and chemistry that leaps off the pages. Definitely a recommended read
Loved LHS-WC and Carson and Jeannie. Great tie in with LHS Maine. Great suspense had me sitting on the edge. Keepers were the best can see all the stories living in Maryann’s mine. This is a great story.
