2.5 stars, maybe?
The author shares her experience and tips about finding rest and peace while dealing with a traumatic brain injury. Some of the things she talked about felt very irrelevant (like efficient shopping habits), and she tended to digress a lot and get off track. She also repeated herself often and said many similar things, and I found the writing to be a bit mundane overall. With some things I was just, like, "what?" because I didn't see how that related to the main point of the book.
Honestly, not a very stimulating read. But maybe that's just because I read it right after coming back from working at an English summer-school/day-camp and I was in a completely exhausted state of mind. Still, though, I won't be rereading this. It felt more like a person's ramblings on life in general with a few spiritual maxims and thoughts and poems thrown in here and there rather than a book that actually focused on teaching you something. However, I do give the author credit for pushing through her struggles and looking to Christ through it all. I'm happy for her that she's found peace in the midst of her TBI.
