Thorne Witches #12

Everlasting Magic

Rate this book
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and ex-FBI agent Evelyn Thorne finds herself alone again with nothing but an oversized box of chocolates and a file filled with damning evidence against her former boss and best friend—Simon Blane. He also happens to be the man she’s loved forever, so the stakes couldn’t be higher to clear his name.

Simon Blane is royally screwed. Framed as an international kingpin to hide the activities of the actual criminal ring, he faces life imprisonment. Worse still, he’s fallen for the brilliant, determined Evelyn Thorne, a powerful witch with a not-so-law-abiding family, and he’s unwittingly dragged her into the center of a maelstrom. Now they both have a massive target on their backs.

Simon and Evelyn will have to throw away the FBI rule book and tap into the Thorne Witches’ power if they have any chance of survival—because the real culprit is determined to keep the truth hidden by any means possible. And as Simon and Evelyn hunt for the evidence to save them, maybe, just maybe, they can find a little Valentine’s Day magic of their own.

T.M. Cromer

T.M. Cromer is a multi-award-winning sorceress of the written word and fearless architect of high-stakes paranormal romance. With a flair for twisty plots, slow burns, and swaggering heroes hot enough to scorch the page, she conjures stories that hook readers and refuse to let go. From her cozy PNW lair, flanked by two Hellhounds and an unholy amount of caffeine ambition, she weaves love, danger, and humor into every page. Whether it’s witches, sirens, or magical assassins, her characters never behave, and neither do her stories.

When she’s not dreaming up new ways to ruin her characters’ lives before crafting their HEA, she’s daydreaming about swimming with orcas or cackling over a particularly clever line of dialogue. Come for the magic, stay for the heartbreak, and maybe fall a little too hard for a man who only exists on the page.

T.M.’s stories are 100% certified organic, author-created content. No artificial intelligence was used in the writing of her books.

Loved it

Friends to lovers, Alastair Thorne, The Aether, Ireland, what's not to love. Can't wait for Whiskey and Witches. Just wish it was longer but that's me being selfish and wanting more Thorne magic.

Love these books!

I would have given it a 5 star but this one ended rather abruptly for me. I wanted to know more about Simon's quest and powers.

This is another prime example of why TM Cromer is one of my favourite authors.

Her writing is witty, fun and full of adventure.

Even though this was a short novella for Valentines Day, it still took us on a magical romantic ride for our two love interests.

This also provided a look in on what I hope will be a future story with our Aether, his wife and the baby Aether.

We meet another fiesty woman, Evelyn, and another hunk that worships her, Simon. Though there are many obstacles in the way of their obvious match, we get to watch as they fight them off in the name of love.

If you love Magic, witches, strong women, dreamboat men and a great adventure, I strongly urge you to check out The Thorne Witch Series!

It's a great novella. It's a friends to lovers romance. It's comprehensive and lacks in some details. Although it's a novella, I feel that some blanks could have been filled. Although, it has a happy ending, it feels incomplete somehow. It's a good concept and good to see some family members from previous books.

Evelyn is an FBI agent who has stumbled upon a ploy against her ex boss. The development of the romance is sweet and Simon and Evelyn make a great couple. Alistair comes to rescue once again and works through the problem Simon is facing.

It's a great concept that leads to a happy ending.

Loved

Absolutely loved every word of Everlasting Magic. T.M. Cromer knows how to weave a tale of magic, intrigue and romance. There was only one problem with the story...it ended way to soon. I would have loved for it to be another 200 pages! I so need more of the Thorne Witches....

If you love magic, witches, romance and some action you'll love this series! I highly recommend. The writing and characters are amazing!

Good story

Good story but it ends on a cliff hanger so I'm hoping the author comes back to it at some point. The new series is about this branch of the family and the O'Malleys so I'm assuming it will work its way into that. Little Easter egg mention of a Serifina island with 3 sisters on it. Maybe a future series planned there. Fingers crossed as I love Tara's books.

Good read

This novella was short, but sweet. It was more about old friends finding true love with each other than danger and lost magic. There was a short snippet of real danger, but Alistaire and Damien stepped in and straightened everything out. There was some humor and lots of love. Highly recommend.

Loved it but

I know this was a short, as all the Thorne Witch series books, I loved it, but is there going to be more? It left too many open questions and when do we get to find out what is going on with Trevor or if Simon decided to take his powers back? Ugh...it wasn't satisfying.

Lucky or not

She spent a long time in the friend zone but eventually time changed things and she's getting her chance with her one true love
It's just a pity how that came about but there is a chance at future happiness for them both at least.
I feel like there should be more to this story.

Great addition to her Thorne Witches series!

I loved reading about Evelyn Thorne, & her love "Simon Says" LOL. This was a great book, though I'm not 100% satisfied with the ending. Hopefully there will be some closure in the next book, or maybe another of her series that touches on the Thorne witches?

This author’s mind is just pure genius

Such an amazing addition to the series.
I literally couldn’t put this book down.
The two main characters have so much chemistry and they fit perfectly.
We get reunited with other characters from the series and meet some new characters too.
Fantastic storyline. Amazing characters.
I highly recommend this series

Perfect Valentine’s read. The world T.M. Cromer has created with the Thorne Witches is nothing short of amazing and this novella is no different. Simon and Evelyn thought this would be a difficult mission but they had no idea how bad it could be. I hope we see more of them later.

Everlasting Magic

This book was just as expected. It was fabulous just like all the TM Comer books I have read. Love the Thorne witches best of all. Can't wait for the rest of the unlucky charm series. I love the mixture of drama suspense and the love storys. Brilliant writing

Such a sweet and moving romance! I love this couple. They are a little more obvious in their innuendos and seem older than many of the other couples in the series which was enjoyable. I haven't read a book by this author that I have not fell in love with and this novella is heartwarming!

Great...until the end

This Thorne Witches story started out great. It built well and flowed well. But it fell completely flat at the end. The story ended very abruptly with no explanation of events. It wasn't even a cliffhanger, it just....stopped.
