Pack Rules #5

The Enforcer

Rate this book
Some things are more important than duty.

For years, Dean always did as his alpha instructed, it’s what pack enforcers were expected to do. When he’s ordered to track down a rogue who stole a powerful magic item and killed members of his old pack, he embarks on a dangerous mission without hesitation, even if it means entering neighboring territories without permission.

Evan has endured years of trauma, and he’s not sure he’s ready to make himself vulnerable again. Even with a real alpha, and a supportive pack, the world is a scary place and he still bears the emotional scars of years of torture at the hands of someone who was supposed to take care of him.

As they face the danger the rogue brings to both of them and the Woodlands pack, can their hearts open enough to help Evan mend what was torn from him? Will Evan help Dean find a new path he’d never expected? When they confront unknown magic, will it help, or inflict even more pain on them both?

Pack Rules continues with more adventures of family and healing.

About the author

A.J. Marcus

A.J. Marcus grew up in Texas. He’s always had a fascination with cowboys, comic books and the great outdoors. He started writing in high school and at times spent more time writing than he did reading, and he’s a voracious reader. Maybe it was growing up in Texas, but his love of rugged men showed up even before he realized what was going on. He likes his men manly, hard, tough and caring, men with hearts, and other parts, as big as Texas.

A.J. currently lives near Colorado Springs, Colorado with his loving partner and several horses. The men here are still men.

Good read

This book takes us back to the Woodlands pack. Just like the other ones, this book is short and the romance is PG rated. It’s nice seeing one by one, the “harem” boys coming out of the dark past, growing into confident young men, and finding mates to cherish. Charlie’s story is next.
