Adea isn’t interested in dating or finding her Goddess-chosen mate. She’s determined to ignore the nightmares that plague her sleep, keep her job at Half Moon pack, and live a peaceful life. When her best friend, Mavy begs her to go with her to Desert Moon to find her mate, she can’t say no.
What does Adea do when she’s the one to find her mate at the Crescent Moon Ball? Will she be able to figure out what her nightmares are trying to warn her about? When she pieces it all together can she change her fate?
This book is amazing it dark and twisted with a splash of crazy that you just want more. The writer is so so creative and talented. This book is exiting there is always something happening. The author is amazing she also very exciting about her book as her reader. This also make the experience of reading this book amazing. You will cry and laugh and feel emotions of love stubbornness and hate.
Well that was a bit dark and anexpected....ivreally hated the fmc, she just wanted everything, she wanted Ethan but she wanted Shane too, she made the most stupid decisions and used excuses like " I must do that to protect us, to protect Ethan, to protect my pack...She never took into consideration of her "mate" , she never trusted him , she wanted to be all jer, do whatever she wanted, she wanted to be all, the queen, the strong, the brave , the protector, the right one...she never even thought of sharing her ideas or plans with him...I hated her and I still do. the real victim was Ethan and Shane, for me the right end would be either they both die bc of her and make it known that she killed them both, or for her to die and never ever get another life and the chance to ruun Ethan's and Shane's again. she is poison, she is sickness she is the worst fmc ever read in my entire life. I loved all the other characters too much. I even loved the wich for crying out loud but not Her!
I read this book non stop because it is FILLED with action!! The multiple points of view were helpful, and I really liked JP Sina’s treatment of Adea’s trauma and the inner dialogue with her wolf. Shifter books often have this sense of fate and destiny and automatic acceptance when I comes to mates, but Adea’s trauma interferes with that, which is frustrating to her wolf.
This book is deliciously dark, and intense, so check your triggers, people.
My guilty pleasure. Fantasy romance. I honestly really liked the book. The author did a good job with really making the characters come to live and not just personalities but also looking at their psychological transformations. It's interesting to see someone go from one extreme to the other like in Olivia's case. The writer does a good job with capturing our inner emotions and how that leads to the decisions those people make. Already read it twice and reading the sequel.
Started out great, it really did, then it got a little slow and boring, then it got weird and strange like perhaps the author really didn't know where to go with this story next. I don't know, I just really struggled to finish this in the end and honestly only stuck round to see how/if Gabes relationship with the grumpy beta progressed, unfortunately we didn't see that close off and so far I haven't seen their story, though the author didn't note there would be one and I do want to read that. I think this could've been shorter with a lot less twists, the lead MC just kept doing stupid shit and it passed me off. Yea I'm 50/50 on this one hence the 3 stars.
This book changed my world. I have read it 2x already and it still lives in my head rent free. Amazing Story. Lots of spice, Dark Romance. All the bad and all the good! Read at your own risk.
I absolutely loved this book and it was a 5 star untill the dream where they switched up the true mates. Didn't like the witch concept or how they tried to turn Liv or Ethan into a villian.
I love Ethan and Adea's chemistry so darn hot. Ethan is perfection the fact he still chose Ady made me so happy. My gorgeous main man Ethan was the stronger and better man in every way. Just wish we got more in the end of the book to see them fall in love and experience that need and love again in the end. Their love was too hot. Adea was a strong good fighter wish she fought for Ethan more wish we got to see her in action defending him when he was down.
Also what happened with Gabe, Odis and Leo?
I hate Shane still. He is a controlling creep. He doesn't get a pass he was a great villain and wish he stayed that way and didn't get a true mate redemption arc.
All in all, the author did an incredible job it was hot, twisted, emotional and everything you want in hot alpha book... untill the true mate switch it was an absolute favourite.
Always #TeamEthan that man lives rent free in my head forever! Thank you author for giving me my fantasy crush! Worth every penny for those Ethan and Adea moments.
I NEED MORE PLEASE! If another book is coming out with Ethan in I must have it!

Listening (mostly) and reading on the Lovella app. The app is too expensive and I don't recommend it although the AI audio narration isn't too bad. It's important to remember that AI narration is only as good as the writing and layout of the book. If the book is riddled with bad grammar and inappropriate line breaks you will hear it in the narration.
I'm at "episode" 148 out of 340. These aren't chapters. They are too short to be chapters and because the app wants to either charge you or serve you ads at the change of every episode or chapter you can expect 3 to 5 "episodes" per chapter.
This is one of those romance series that is mostly porn, and this one is very rape-y. If you're into non-con you might like it but I'm fast forwarding a lot because the quantity of smut is way outside my tolerance range. I like a good one-handed read as much as anyone but this is too much to hold my attention. It's a trilogy but I'm not sure I will bother with the others.
This book is very, very good! I suggest you definitely read it! The twists and turns and the big shock at the end I did not see coming. My heart is broken, I'm devastated but I can also understand that not all books have happy endings.
I do not like how this book ended. It could have ended happy for all parties involved but it wasn't to be. Like I said, not all books can have the romantic happy ending. Although Alpha Shane, starts off as the villain, my heart shattered for him by the end - he was just looking for his Luna, for many lifetimes! And she chose someone else AGAIN!
Great book and wonderfully written, now off the read Alpha Shane, I'd love to read a book about Gabe and Odis also. Read this book!

Ok it’s hard to give a review without giving away all the different plot twists and turns. My emotions towards the characters was all over the place. Throughout most of the book I absolutely hated Shane. Once the dreams were explained and other parts of Shane’s life come to ur attention, I became team Shane. But then there was Ethan and while in a lot of reviews people are against Adea, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. I couldn’t imagine getting visions of the future and past and trying to make sense of it all.
Can’t wait to read the other books by JP Sina related to this story.
Heartbreaking ending, so much so that I would have to disagree with how the author ended it. At least write a sequel in which, in the next life, all fated mates - Shane, Andea, Ethan and Mavy - all get their happily-ever-after.
I also think there needs to be retribution for Olivia and loose ends need to be tied up regarding Odis/Gabe/Leo, an explanation about Alpha Joshua, and the backstory behind Adea’s parents’ deaths.

What more could a book deliver? It’s beautifully written and very thought out. At times, I found myself gasping for more and eager to get to the next page! Adea, Ethan and Shane will forever go down as the characters able to rip my heart out and mend it back together. The Forbidden Alpha totally blew me out of the water and now I’m obsessed with this author.
I would give this book a 10 star rating if I could. Loved this twisted hot steaming story. Was worth all my GoodNovel coins just to finish this book. Mind blowing twist of events that kept surprising me. Sexy Ethan all the way. I gotta say Shane got it bad as well and it broke me to find out the truth about him and Adea but I was wishing she'd end up with Ethan.
Numerous grammar mistakes. Abrupt ending, story line makes no sense, so much left unexplained, feels unfinished. Don't bother unless you get this book for free. Wish I could get my time and money back. Just terrible.
I started this series on one of those apps, grew impatient and found it on Amazon - which made me super happy. I really enjoyed reading this book in one go instead of having to fuss with the app. I was hooked from the start though.
Long, heartbreaking, including the ending, basically four selfish people setting the world on fire each for his/her reasons, bloody consequences be damned, other than that quite a unique approach for a werewolves story.
I e noted reading the book although some of it was a bit confusing as it jumped through the characters POV.
The 3 parts before the WAR chapter, did find then a little boring unfortunately, bit as engaging as the previous chapters, in one sense, I felt the author had run out of ideas....
The author has stated that there are 2 other books out so I will look at them and see how they turn out.
Would I recommend the book - yea, my opinion is based on my thoughts and feelings as I moved towards the later chapters, yet others may actually find the said chapters to be better. We are all entitled to our views and opinions. What did intrigue me was reading the comments about the epilogue...how readers were getting confused about the characters names, is it possible that they too had lost interest so to speak, thus mixing up the characters?
Read the book, see if you get the same feeling if the authors change of tone/plot/attitude etc.
