Surviving in the fae realm is not for the faint of heart.
Lana learns this the hard way when Dolphina Darling, cult leader and time-traveling vampire witch extraordinaire, forces her through the portal before the next Bedlam Moon.
Determined to protect herself and her twins, Lana finds herself alone in the woods, cold, barefoot, and unable to use her magic.
Things only go downhill from there…
On her first night in Bedlam, Lana is violently attacked by a cruel fae and left for dead. To her surprise, her screams reach the ears of Finian “Finn” Drake, the Luna fae who owns these woods.
Finn rushes to her aid and ends up helping Lana in more ways than one.
He becomes her guide through the woods, her personal magic tutor, and a middleman between her and the three kings of Bedlam, the very men who can help Lana discover what became of her mom and grant her immortality…
As Finn and Lana walk through the woods for months, they face exhaustion, wild beasts, a painful curse, and the undeniable wave of forbidden attraction between them.
But when Lana’s barter with the three kings costs her everything, she’s left stranded in a strange castle, and Finn has to make a tough decision: Should he risk going to Earth to recruit Lana’s vampire mates?
Will they even believe his version of events?
And how will they convince the three kings to give Lana up when they think she’s the best candidate for the role of the High Queen?
Even fae magic cannot work such a miracle…
Author note: This is the second book in the Bedlam Moon series and should not be read as a standalone. Please read Bedlam Moon first. Additionally, Tales of Bedlam contains spicy content not suitable for young audiences. While this book ends on a cliffhanger, the third and final book in the installment, Wicked Bedlam, will end as a happily ever after (HEA). You won't have to wait long for book three, I promise! Tales of Bedlam contains elements of fated mates, one bed in an inn trope, and multiple POV from new characters as well as those we know and love from book one. As indicated in the blurb in book one, more members of the why choose romance join the relationship in Tales of Bedlam.
A cousin to Billie Eilish (though she's never met her in person), blood descendant of Wild Bill Hickok, and a long line of artists and creators, Kathy Haan believes the secret to telling a great story is living one. The second youngest, in a massive horde of children between her parents, she did her best to gain attention and kept everyone entertained with jokes and wild stories.
She lives a life of adventure with her hunky husband, three children, and Great Pyrenees in the Midwest United States. While new to fiction, you might’ve seen her work in Forbes, where she’s a regular contributor. Or, in Notoriety Network’s 12x international award-winning documentary, #SHEROproject.
This book was a really good read. Talk about meeting expectations, this book covers it with ups, downs, will make you laugh, and even cry. On that note it left on a cliffhanger which made me sad. All in all, an excellent read for book lovers everywhere.
I really tried to like this series, I really did. But honestly, this series is just not for me. it was extremely fast-paced, so it just felt very rushed.
The world building is good, and I did like some of the details that were in this book. But they just didn't make up for what was lacking for me.
I don't like giving bad reviews or anything, but I never want to leave a review without a review if I can help it.
If you like fast-paced, fantasy reverse harems, this book will be fantastic for you! Please do not let this review stop you from giving this book a read.
I didn’t think a series can get any better! Low and behold this second one is a lot better then the first. Twist and turns! And oh my goodness the ending. I cannot wait until the third one comes out! I really hope it comes out in August!
I tore though this book. Work annoyed me having the gaul to keep me away from reading. I've been in a reading slump until I found this series, but I guess i'm going to have another one because of that stupid cliffhanger. I honestly don't think I can wait. If you have an arc, you so happen to want to send my way, it might make me the happiest girl around.
I felt all of the emotions reading this. How dare you Kathy, I wanted to come through the pages and punch those stupid kings in their face. This had me on the same level of hurt, and emotional roller coaster, as zodiac academy, and trust me when I tell you that series hurt, in the best possible way.
This series took me fully of guard. I had zero expectations coming in, and it might have just made it into my top 5 for the year.
I'm truly baffled more people aren't talking about this book. And I'm defo recommending it to anyone who will listen.
The second installment of the series plunges deeper into Lana's tumultuous journey, this time finding her in Bedlam with a new, Soul-bonded mate. The stakes are high as she seeks an audience with the three kings, only to be outmaneuvered into a tricky bargain. Meanwhile, Finn's quest to rally support from Lana's other mates in the human realm adds an engaging layer of tension.
The dynamics between Lana and the three kings are compelling, as she navigates her growing feelings for them while being torn from her original mates. The emotional conflict and romantic tension are palpable, keeping readers invested in her journey.
The cliffhanger at the end leaves you desperate for more, perfectly setting up the next chapter in this captivating saga. This book successfully combines intrigue, romance, and suspense, making it a must-read for fans of the series. Highly recommended!
4⭐️ - definitely got better, worth getting through the first book to get to this one. Love how Lana just keeps collecting men like nobodies business.
Lana must go to the fae realm because of the curse placed on her by a vampire with on Earth. So despite the fact she only recently survived the traumatic birth of her twin a, she finds herself in the woods of the fae realm, with no magic and woefully underprepared for her journey. She is found by her soul bonded mate, who agrees to help her in her efforts to gain immortality from the fae kings and to get back to her mates.
Meeting with the three kings, they make her immortal but also take her memories of everyone she’s met before them. Her mates, Finn, her parents, friends, everyone. Finn goes to Earth to seek the help of the vampires while Lana lives with the kings, and eventually comes to love and mate with them. Things quickly go sideways, however, when it becomes clear that there’s a secret being kept in the castle, and it seems to be about her.
Emotionally torn in so many ways! Yet so emotionally invested!
Wow! Talk about an emotional roller coaster. So many things just go wrong for Lana & her mates so early on that it's almost painful to see how many more pages are left to read. Page after page my emotions felt like they were going through a colidascope as one moment I was up then the next moment I was dashed to the ground. And the cliff hanger at the end is OMG! Kathy Hann has done an amazing job at getting me emotionally invested in the stories she is weaving. I very highly recommend this series.
I just couldn’t get into this book as much as the first one. The intimate moments were hard to get through because it just felt r*pey with her not having her memories and them having taken everything from her. There better be groveling or something in the next book because right now I can’t stand the kings. Also there was a part in the book where she suddenly talks about her attacker, I thought that was very abrupt, as there was no mention of it until she needed to tell the kings. It made me confused as if I had missed something.

This brings the Why Choose Trope to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
Is this really the same author as Bedlam Moon? I barely made it through the first book, but once they actually make it to Bedlam, the story goes from a 2 to a hot and heavy 4 real fast.
OK, not only is Lana mated to Oz, Gideon, Auguste, and Finn....but to the Fae Kings Penn, Grimm, and Casimir?! That is a whole lot of testosterone to juggle.
This one ends on a massive cliffhanger just like the first does....all I can say is, for the love of God, not Gideon 😭
I finished the entire series before deciding to cast judgment on it. This series has Spice. Man oh MAN this series has the spice factor. The entire story itself feels a bit rushed with so much going on at once but it reels you in hook, line and sinker because you know something crazy will happen in the next chapter. Books 2 is where the even crazier events start happening. Good Luck Lana with Bedlam. They definitely don't make it easy on her.
So they take her memories of her newborn children and mates . Then slowly over time seduce her and mate with her also make a blood oath so she can’t ever leave them. She doesn’t know that these 3 lied to her and manipulated her and kept her from her children and other mates so now she stuck with them! ugh so now she has 7 and her kids are teenagers! There is no way I would forgive them I don’t care what their excuse is they better fucking suffer and grovel

I could not put this down. If someone does not make a mivie out of this series is really missing out. So descriptive that it makes you feel as if you are there as a part of their family. What a roller coaster wave of emotions. I am so proud of you, my soul sister..!! So excited to read the third book and all the other ones you have planned for us.
I was up ALL night reading this book. I physically could not put it down. I fell in love with the new characters introduced and hated some of them all the same. This gave me so many emotions that wrenched my heart every where. I really enjoyed this book and how well it was written even though at the beginning I was dreading going through 71 whole chapters.
If you go into this book with the mindset that it’s satire, it makes it somewhat enjoyable. However it still reads like an unstructured wattpad story. I only really care about Gideon. I absolutely lost it at the mention of 50 Cent and Ginuwine. Can’t wait to read what ridiculous antics happen in book 3.
The 2nd in this trilogy is better than the 1st. I continue with my thought that there’s so much “filler/fluff” and moments that could be built upon are glanced over. Timeline continues to be an issue for me but I don’t think it takes away from the overall story like it did in the first.
Tried to read this after reading Bedlam Moon but couldn’t get past the first few chapters. The poorly executed, drawn out writing continued from book 1 and I just didn’t care enough about the main character to keep reading.
Dragged in some places, and also seriously pissed me off in others, but nothing I'm sure the author didn't intend when it comes to the interactions with the three kings. Excited to see what happens in book three!
this book was better than the first of the series but this author needs to invest in an editor. There were so many mistakes to things said in previous chapters that.
The way I ate this up. This book was so infuriating and so good at the same time. The letters, the all around deceiving love from the kings and HER MOM OMG. So beautifully written and so much fun !
