Ruby Dixon is an author of Science Fiction Romance. She likes fated mates, baby-filled epilogues, and cinnamon roll heroes. She also likes to write biographies of herself in the third person, because it feels more important that way.
Ruby also loves coffee and dirty books and will probably be a cat lady at some point. :)
Una muy linda lectura. Es muy del estilo de la saga y honestamente, lo pase muy bien volviendo a encontrarme con estos personajes, eso si, extrañe mas escenas de toda la tribu al completo.
This takes place during Christmas time on Not-Hoth and centers around Josie and Haeden. You follow them and their little family throughout the day. Josie has a specific wish this Christmas, and she hopes that it comes true!
Josie and Haeden are my favourite IPB couple and I never get tired of seeing little glimpses into their happily mated life. Their kits are just adorable, I love seeing their little personalities that reflect their parents, and seeing Josie and Haeden’s continued adoration and devotion for one another makes my heart melt.
Thank you Ruby for this holiday novella! I reread it already and it just makes my heart so happy. Best way to start my 2022. Happy new year 💙
4.5/5 As the last book that’s part of the I’ve Planet Barbarians series, it was a really lovely conclusion! I’m so sad that the series is over but I think I’m going to read the Icehome series too. I just can’t get enough of these characters!
Despite not really liking Josie, this was cute and sweet. I loved seeing Haeden as a dad. So sweet. The scene where Joha gets her little doll is adorable.
But I am just not into having a million children and being endlessly pregnant, so I can't relate. I have three kids myself and I love them so much. I even enjoyed being pregnant! Weird, I know. But I can't imagine wanting to basically have more babies all the time back-to-back like Josie wants. And Josie debating about if they're going to have a girl or boy DURING sex is so fucking cringy. Just be sexy for a few minutes and let Haeden get his rocks off already; then do the baby fantasizing later.
I suppose if you're into baby storylines or breeding you'll love this. I have really enjoyed this series, but that's the one thing about them I'm not a huge fan of. Don't love the constant baby storylines.
Overall it's a cute final novella in the series. But I'm definitely ready to move on to a new alien romance series now. It's been fun, but I'm SO ready for something new. :)

This story just got me. It’s No Poison Day for another year. Josie and Haeden have three kids now, and then she notices her breasts are sore, which has happened before she resonated the last two times. She internally debates the pros and cons of getting pregnant again, and whether or not her mate would want to, and sees babies around and ultimately decides she’s ready for another one. She gets the healer to check her over to see if she’s ready to resonate, and ultimately gets told no. Having thought about it so hard she’s really worked herself up to it and just desperately wants to have another child. She had Haeden share a wishbone at dinner, and she gets the bigger piece. Now it’s three days later, and we can all guess what happens. It did such a great job of portraying the longing and just full soul want of another little child to add to their family, and I just found this to be a beautiful story.
4⭐️ - my goodness these two could repopulate a planet at the rate they’re going 😂😂
With three kits already, Josie is unsure if she will resonate again. Having always wanted a big family, she is excited for more kids, but nervous that it is not what her mate wants. She discusses with him, and he eases her worries greatly by letting her know he will be happy with whatever their khuis decide. Josie’s wish is always to have more kits, she just has so much love to give.
They have such a qt story, I love em. Hopefully more IPB couples make a comeback. I wonder tho if Ruby will mash up all her novellas together including the linked one (FB etc) and publish it as a mini book.
Sweet, romantic, and absolutely adorable! I love Josie and Haeden together, add in the festive holidays and you have one sweet read. Something to perk you up and make you swoon during a chaotic holiday season.
I absolutely loved this short. I would give it a twenty star rating if I could. I could not believe all the new kiddos, reading the names…ahh, couldn’t contain my excitement. I won’t spoil in my review but if you are wondering how the OG Tribe is then you must read!!! Again amazing
This was so cute, although it makes me want to see interactions between the entire Croatoan and IceHome camps!!! I'm so glad that Josie and Haeden are at it again, and the little time jump forward was nice too.
This is a short story (sign up for Ruby Dixon's newsletter and you get it for free) and takes place during the "No Poison" holiday. Josie and Haeden are one of my favorite couples, so I enjoyed reading this one. It is cute and sweet... and of course, they resonate AGAIN lol
Josie and Haeden have a bigger family than most of the tribe with three kits already- but this story is about Josie wanting another and really hoping for resonance.
I love how much of a dad we see in Haeden. He was so burly and gruff for such a long time, I just love them together
The cutest little novella to end the series! Whew, Josie’s got a lot on her hands haha. Anyways very adorable. I still wish the series wasn’t over though, I still feel like I want to read about everyone’s kids and how things turn out for everyone in the long run!!
Not me thinking it would be some inspiring wish since it was the very last “book” for the Ice Planets Barbarians - I think I forgot what I was reading 😭 It’s just Josie being horny on main and wanting another baby. Oh well…
