Marcus Heavy is the founder of the Heavy Sinners Motorcycle Club. They specialize in the drug game, prostitution, blackmail, and murder. You cross any member of the club, and that’s the end of your life.

Marcus’ son, Darius, was supposed to take up the mantle as leader of the club, but Darius doesn’t want that life. He’s seen the devastation it brings to his family and everyone around them. So, Darius gets a college degree and a good job and claws his way out of the hood. The life he’s chosen couldn’t be more different than that of his homicidal father’s—until unknown enemies show up at his door, shoot Darius in the head, and kidnap his child.

He wakes up in the hospital to find his father hovering over him, wanting to know what Darius plans to do for revenge. No one attacks the Heavy name and lives to tell the story. Darius resists, but as weeks go by and officials focus more on smearing Darius than they do on searching for his child, he feels desperate.

With his back to the wall and no official help in sight, Darius turns to the group he once rejected. Marcus always knew his son would come back to the Heavy Sinners MC. He hands over the VP patch to Darius, who suddenly has a seat at the table in the organization he never wanted to be a part of. Desperate to find his child, he tears through the city, going after anyone who might have had a hand in the attack on his family. He never imagined himself as a violent person, yet soon Darius discovers that not only is he capable of it, but he’s good at it. When Dharia enters his orbit, she puts a spark to the desire in him that had burned out months ago, igniting a fire of passion. Will he be able to return to his true self, or is the legacy of the Heavy Sinners MC too strong to resist?

Rae is a daydreamer, nurse, bookworm, nature enthusiast, wife, momma, animal activist and an optimist. She has lived her entire life in NYC and loves to travel with her family. She believes that sweets should have a larger piece of the nutritional pyramid and that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best TV shows ever invented. When she is not working as a nurse in her community, she can either be found reading, writing, or taking a walk while listening to music. She has been writing books in her mind for as long as she can remember but decided that maybe there were others out in the world that would find joy in the words she would put down on the page.

When Darius Heavy's wife is killed and his daughter kidnapped in a home invasion, Darius suffers injuries that nearly kill him. While in the hospital, he finds out that his daughter, Tia, is still missing and the police don't seem to be working very hard to find her, so Darius turns to his estranged father who is the president of the Heavy Sinners MC. Marcus will only help if Darius joins the club, so he agrees as long as finding his daughter is their first priority. One of the first things the Sinners do is to raid the local rival MC where they find Dharia, an accountant who Darius hopes can help him find his daughter.

Heavy Sinners MC: Dare to Ride is a very problematic novel. Unfortunately, the romance is not the center of the story, making this less of a romance and more of a revenge tale. There is almost no character development, producing very flat, one dimensional characters. The plot is predictable and unimaginative, with simplistic writing laced with an overuse of profanity. The one saving grace of the book is that there is a sense of urgency as Darius is trying to find his daughter. Overall, Heavy Sinners MC: Dare to Ride has a promising premise but extremely weak execution.

Heavy Sinners MC is a phenomenal introduction to this MC. The book begins with intense and violent drama and action, and the storyline builds from there. There are some genuinely diabolically sinister characters in this book and characters you will want to root for and love. The MC action is intense and violent. As Darius hunts for his kidnapped daughter, the suspense and the mystery of who is behind it all grow. Suspicion arises, and the twists and betrayals cut deep.

Heavy Sinners MC is a page-turner and worked very well as an audiobook with all of the action, suspense, intense drama, and hot romance. I had it playing while driving across two and a half states. I have to say that anytime I got out of my car, I hurried back so that I could keep listening. The narration was on point, with both voice actors sounding like I imagined the characters. The epilogue leaves me hoping that this will become a series. There is so much more to tell in this saga.

Darius Heavy lived a normal life....finished college, made it in the corporate world, father of Tia, and husband to Lisbeth. That all came crashing down when his wife was raped and murdered, his daughter kidnapped, and he was shot in the head and left to die. Darius depended on justice to come swiftly but the police and detectives seemed nonchalant and slow to help. He then had to turn to his crime boss father, Marcus Heavy, to set things straight and get on the path to find his daughter.

This was a good read. The flips and topsy turvys of trying to find Tia kept me on edge. The way this book ended, I KNOW that there will be more parts coming soon!

The book “Heavy Sinners Dare To Ride” by Rae B Lake was really good I couldn’t put it down. It started off with the action where the main character Darius and his family got invaded in there home and his wife murdered and his daughter kidnapped. It was like a emotional roller coaster. The author did a fantastic job. The main character Darius omg he’s fantastic I’m just leaving it that and then ending was really good. Anyone else likes the cover or is just me. I knew something was up with the father of Darius when I kept reading it and he deserved what he got at the end Im not wrong. I loved the book and I’m happy I read it. Anyone else want it in a series or just me?.
