So much of this installment brings back what I love most about this series: epic battles, intrigue, archeology, and questions about what is real and what is fiction in the world of Christianity. I’m glad we’re getting back to the strength of the original series!
Great series but getting a little too carried away with the climate change agenda
I have read every book in this series. I anxiously await for each one to be released. And while this book was still a great story, I continued to get more and more frustrated as I read due to the author's continued "preachiness" about climate change. Not everyone agrees that everything weather related in this world is due to human activity. I read for entertainment, not to have a political persuasion pushed on me. I can handle a sentence or two here or there about something I don't agree with. But it being the overarching reason for every catastrophe is too much. I'm disappointed that Brady has brought that into her series. She's an incredible author and can weave a story like few others. I just wish you would leave the preaching about climate change out of her books. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series though because I can't wait to see how the Drake and Laney story plays out.
I am totally immersed in the Beial Rebirth series, as I was in the initial Beial series. The characters are fascinating especially Delaney McFerson. Although her powers and those of the Fallen are obviously unrealistic, the way R.D. Brady has intertwined them with the storyline and with the religious and archeological aspects of the books make you almost forget the impossibility of them. I have been glued to each upcoming book and will start reading the next one as soon as I finish this review. Don't miss the fascination and excitement of these books.
I absolutely loved this series and was so glad the author decided to continue with this new spinoff. I love how she intertwines what's going in the current world with religion. I get so immersed in these books, that I finish them within a day or two and then have to patiently wait for the next in the series to come out.
You've done it again, and of course, I'll be waiting until I get the email that the next book is out.
Another great read. This book was a little more intense. Several times I had to stop and go back to it when it got me wound up in anticipation of what was coming up. I hate that there is not another book for me to read though it left off like another one was in the works.
Laney and Drake. A couple that struggles to be together. Gabriel… is really a woman Archangel. Loved the story of her misspelled name and Brielle is a good addition to the story. Laney finally defeated Gideon and rescued Drake. The cliffhanger at the end was awesome. Michael is back (I’m scared) 😱
The cliffhanger ending had me. I didn't see that one coming even though it was hinted at. But now I have to wait until the next book in the series. I loved this book. Laney is trying to keep everyone safe, but she knows people are going to get hurt. The showdown is coming. The question is, who is going to survive and is humanity going to be saved once again?
Some series are just new episodes in a character's life. This is a continuation series . There is a preceding series to this . Good and interesting story line . Interesting characters . A lot of typos. Sometimes the writing is stiff. Here Laney is searching for Drake.
I didn't understand how anyone could hack the Chandler estate steal information from inside their not able to find the bad guy, their better than that. I felt that it good to show a different side to the main characters Laney and Jen. No my favorite, still loved it,can't wait for the next book.
I absolutely love this series. Love the historical references and the characters... But the end of this particular book broke my heart. Will see what happens next! This series is full of unexpected twists and turns... It will keep you guessing.
This book like every other book she has written is great. I can't wait for the next one in the series to come out. This one left me hanging and I want to see what happens with Laney and Drake.
I’m entranced by this entire series. I’m going through the entire 13 book series. So far I’m enjoying the journey. Celestial Angels, Fallen Angels, reincarnations, archeology, church history, world history…everything this Catholic was taught for 12 years but with a twist.
This is one of my absolute favorite series and this most recent book is no exception. I love Laney and all of the people around her. I can’t wait for the next one.
