The reason I am reading this book is because I am a smart alec and suggested we get this book for the chairs to review. My bosses thought it was a great idea, so here we are. RR of Order is a very dry, dense thing to read that often feels like it contradicts itself. This book is a great reference for those instances where you have some meeting weirdness and wonder what to do next or if there is a procedure you want to know more about. Also the writing is much better and actually entertaining to read.
don't get me wrong, this book was so incredibly boring and I would like to now gauge my eyes out because why did I read the entire thing. BUT. it was very helpful in explaining the topic and did EXACTLY what it needed to. and some parts were so funny I actually laughed. so. yeaaaaa.
Excellent reference material sprinkled with good doses of humor. Author is a parliamentarian from Louisiana so there’s a few Boudreaux and Thibodeaux type references.
