This was another fabulous set of books based around the adventures of Dave the Villager. My 6 year old loves them - I'd highly recommend the Audible version as the narrator is fabulous and his range of voices really brings the characters to life. I have my kid asking me to put his book on in the car instead of music each day. This set of books sees Dave time travel into the past, picking up straight away from where Book 14 finished on a cliffhanger. Dave is with the gang for most of the book but he's flying solo for the first part of this box set as he travels to the past, learning more about the origins of Steve and Diamond City. He says goodbye (for now?) to some friends who have been with him for the past few books as well as hello to a couple of new friends. There are ninjas, new powers, an ancient, evil power threatening them and we meet Seth the Elf as well as a talking potato. The stories are heaps of fun and I'm learning about Minecraft (reluctantly lol) along the way. Great stuff.

This is a funny and great book!
I was laughing when the robot chicken said "I NEED TO WIN", like bro, you don't need to win, it matters about having fun. I loved it just like the other books (yes, I read all the other books).
