Oh, how I feel the same way when reading this story, Fuyutsuki!

Another volume where I was squealing and kicking my feet, but also the way I was flying through pages because of that business trip chapter!! EEEEEPPP!!

This series really is a slow burn but this volume gave LOTS when it came to the romance! I'm VERY excited to know that Fuyutsuki really is starting to view Himuro differently, but poor Himuro!

There was lots of confused and shocked hail and felt bad for him because you DO have it right, Himuro! I think you're just going to have to give Fuyutsuki some time so she can realize what her feelings actually are. <3

I really liked the sports festival as well as the bonus chapter! I never tire of seeing Himuro's little snowmen, and deeply enjoyed seeing some old faces again. (Fuyutsuki's best friend's reaction was REAL! 100% me too! LOL!)

Definitely, another fun, sweet, and quick read that still has me feeling super happy after finishing it!

Vol. 5 has the PRETTIEST cover so far.

They gave us a sports festival for grown ups and a "one character gets sick so the other has to take care of them" Two of my favorite manga tropes.

I love this series SO! MUCH! It's cute and fun and fluffy, and makes me feel happy. I do wish the individual volumes were longer, but I will take what I can get.

I think I need to go back and re-read the earlier volumes. I didn't have any strong feelings about this series before, but this volume was so good!

Devo dire che non è il mio preferito, ma comunque godibilissimo. Divertente, leggero e scorrevole. Il giusto equilibrio tra dolcezza e comicità quasi tragica a volte ahahah. Non è tra i miei manga preferiti, anche se per qualche ragione c'è sempre un qualcosa che mi spinge ad andare avanti; forse il fatto che dopo tante strusciate voglio vederli insieme ahahahah
Sempre più vicini ma con altrettanti ostacoli/fraintendimenti di mezzo. Bello bello

Lui emozionatissimo di andare a casa di Fuyutsuki perché appunto sente che le cose stanno cambiando e vuole avvicinarsi (oltre che conoscere Miantala); poi dopo una scena dove si toccano le mani per sbaglio (awww) e lui pensa si sia ritratta per evitarlo e lei nega, vengono interrotti dalla sorella di lui che è diventata molto amica con lei

Fantastica la scena dove l'ascensore è in manutenzione e allora facciamo le scale tanto cosa vuoi che sia...tutti mortati lol
La presidente della compagnia per cui lavorano allora indice la giornata dello sport aziendale e quando tocca a Himuro gareggiare contro Katori, Fuyutsuki prende la sua fascia e gliela dà come portafortuna ♡ e fa il tifo. CARRIIINI.
Il giorno dopo tutti distrutti ahahah

Viaggio di lavoro. 1 notte fuori. Himuro super emozionato ahahah e anche lei dai.
Alla fine delle riunioni mentre vanno verso il ristorante prenotato per la cena, Himuro non si sente bene. Ha la febbre ed essendo un discendente di una donna delle nevi quando la temperatura si alza lui si "scioglie" e diventa una versione di se stesso più piccola ahahah, cute ♡. Fuyutsuki si proclama infermiera e dormiranno nella stessa stanza.
Scena "imbarazzante"/carina quando cadono sul letto mentre battibeccano per decidere se lei deve rimanere con lui o no.
Poi lei esce per prendergli qualcosa e lui si riposa; durante la notte torna normale e sentendosi in colpa quando si sveglia e la vede dormire sul divano, lavora il resto della notte.

Cap.bonus - karaoke
La sorella di Himuro, pessima nel canto, deve cantare una canzone per il suo canale e quindi su consiglio del fratello decide di esercitarsi e invitare lui e Fuyutsuki al karaoke. Fuyutsuki sta però evitando di incrociare lo sguardo di Himuro e lui si domanda perché; mentre sono al karaoke ne parlano e lei gli dice che da dopo il viaggio non sa perche ma lo pensa in modo speciale. Himuro inizia a sperare e proprio in quel momento Yukimi inzia a cantare una canzone sull'amicizia pura e sui migliori amici ahahahaha. Fuyutsuki riconosce alcune delle sensazioni e quando anche Himuro si rende conto della direzione dei pensieri di lei, la reazione è COMICA.

COMMENTO PERSONALE: Continuo a dire che questa serie la stia amando e odiando al tempo stesso. Va bene essere al quinto volume e ogni cosa va lenta ma comunque neppure un bacetto? Che scatole... così potete capire la non pienezza del voto ma è una storia che apprezzo davvero molto.
Veniamo ai punti che ho adorato: a cominciare proprio dai nostri protagonisti che per varie vicissitudini sono costretti ad avvicinarsi sempre di più l'uno all'altra. Fuyutsuki dona a Himuro una fascia in un giorno di corsa ma la parte che ho adorato di più in assoluto è stato il capitolo in merito al viaggio lavorativo di questi due. Praticamente Himuro è stato molto produttivo durante l'incontro ma successivamente qualcosa si è rotto e quando la temperatura sale... torna a essere bambino. Lui è davvero dolce e piccino quando capitano queste cose solo che...
Qualche cosa comincia a cambiare anche in lei e in pratica non riesce a guardare più il suo collega negli occhi perché da allora... ho già detto troppe cose solo che voglio davvero un pó più di contatto e un bacio. Mi auguro nel sesto volume di riuscire a trovarlo e credo proprio che sia una delle mie serie manga preferite. Dunque se volete regalarvi qualche coccola dolce questo è il manga che fa per voi

Ed eccoci giunti al termine di questa prima avventura. Vi lascio qua uno dei propositi di questo nuovo anno: portare a termine un libro o manga alla volta e fare tutto ciò che serve dopo (evviva la matematica molto opinionabile ahahah)

I picked this up as a continuation of this series.
“The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl, Vol. 5” continues to follow Himuro, the descendent of a snow spirit, and his coworker, Fuyutsuki. In this volume, Fuyutsuki invites Himuro over to her house so they can spend some time together. Himuro is over the moon excited to hopefully finally make his move and make Fuyutsuki his special someone.
This continues to be a really sweet and wholesome story. Both Himuro and Fuyutsuki are a little awkward and nervous around one another, and it just feels so special to watch them try to navigate their feelings towards one another.
In this specific volume, Himuro and Fuyutsuki also get to spend a weekend with each other because of a work trip. This was my favorite part of the volume because Himuro is just precious to read about and Fuyutsuki really knows how to take care of him.
I do think this series needs a little more tension or something to grab my interest. I acknowledge there is some tension because Himuro wants so badly to be with Fuyutsuki, and there seems to be hiccups at every turn, but the story is starting to feel a little too cutesy for me. I want them to either be together or for a big plot point to occur!
I am curious to see where volume 6 takes us!

First things first: serious snaps for that. Purple is one of my three favorite colors. That alone might've swayed me. But then you give me Nyamero's cuteness (I'm a sucker for black cats), Himuro being so nervous/excited to go to Fuyutsuki's apartment alone, our man is giving off literal diamond dust. But then he gets cock blocked by his own sister, who's become close friends with Fuyutsuki herself and crashed the supposed "date night". Don't get me started on the ending: Fuyutsuki's been nervous around Himuro, can't even look him in the eye post business trip (it is true, he did kinda kill the vibe by shrinking due to fever, so maybe that's what's got her all shook up? But no!). It's teased that she's unable to face him now due to the fact that she's looking at him in a whole new light... AHHH 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️! I'm not a baby person IRL, but if this series doesn't end with Himuro being a stay-at-home dad to their mortal/ snow baby while our girl is killin' the career scene, I will throw hands. I demand pay off for this "will they, won't they?".

Himuro finally goes over to Fuyutsuki’s home! Well it was to meet her cat but only to have his day with her crashed by his little sister. She can’t or will not take a hint. 😑 Then we get a work sports festival which just shows more of how fun these characters are. But he bid part of the volume is the overnight work trip and the time after it. Himuro is excited so he books dinner reservations for him and Fuyutsuki but he gets sick and she takes care of him. The scenes are cute and funny because Himuro becomes a child when he’s sick. He’s worried he became bothersome to Fuyutsuki but she doesn’t see it that way. She actually avoids looking at him afterwards because, and she tells Himuro, she sees him in a different way. Then comes the sister who doesn’t take a hint with a song, they were out doing karaoke, about best friends. 😑 Fuyutsuki doesn’t say in so many words but that’s what she thinks she might see Himuro as. Our main man just can’t catch a break. 😩

Hnnngh. This volume has some good moments -- especially in the Himuro expression department, and the crisp, clean, wonderful art that I love so much. But I just can't with the mangaka forcing all of these situations where Himuro appears to look childlike. It's so uncomfortable and weird to me because the mangaka keeps putting them into romantic/borderline suggestive scenarios when he looks like that and it just feels... weird. I'm not making any accusations, but it's the biggest drawback to the series for me.
I think it would be more funny and gaglike if the mangaka played up the "he looks like a child so Fuyutsuki treats him like he's a little kid" concept, but even that would be kind of weird and pushing it since they're the romantic leads. But instead, in this volume he accidentally pins her to the bed... while looking like a small child. Just gross and weird. By far my least favorite volume so far, which is a bummer, because I do love these two.

Himuro mi fa una tenerezza infinita, soprattutto quando, per via del caldo o della febbre, si rimpicciolisce nel formato bambino - sentimenti che sicuramente prova anche la cara Fuyutsuki. La distanza tra i due sta diminuendo sempre di più, da semplici colleghi siamo passati allo step "amici". Con sommo disappunto del povero Himuro, che vorrebbe fare qualche altro passo in avanti, ma temo che dovrà portare pazienza ancora per un po'.
Comunque, parliamo un attimo della giornata aziendale dello sport che si vede in questo volume: stima per l'entusiasmo dei dipendenti, io mi sarei messo in malattia. O mi sarei data alla fuga.

Introduced in the last volume, Himuro's sister has become friends with Fuyutsuki and when he gets the opportunity to go to her house alone he jumps at the chance... until a few minutes after getting there his sister walks in. She tells him she visits Fuyutsuki when she has free time and with that, his plans are dashed to finally start making moves and telling her how he really feels especially with a new work opportunity brought them together in a hotel room when he got a fever and turned into his itty-bitty childlike self and he was nursed back to health.

Continues to be a fun and adorable romance between a snow spirit and human.

La copertina è la mia preferita, le tavole sono fantastiche, la storia è travolgente e con risvolti inaspettati, sono felici che Fuyutsuki si stia rendendo lentamente conto che prova qualcosa di speciale per Himuro e che si stiano avvicinando. Molto interessante il fatto che ancora una volta ci sia alla fine del volume delle informazioni riguardanti altri due personaggi ovvero Kotori e Otanashi. Alcune tavole che raffigurano Himuro sono molto curate ma soprattutto dolci. La prima pagina colorata mi ha fatto impazzire.

continues to be adorable!! the one thing I don't love about this series is himuro turning into a child....it's cute until they have a romantic-style scene, then it's just weird?? glad nothing actually romantic happens, but him falling onto her and them staring deeply into each other's eyes while he's in a kid's body is just not the vibe lmao. luckily it's quick and chaste otherwise. the sports day was so fun, and also it cracks me up how much himuro's sister also loves fuyutsuki haha!

Himuro's little emotional snowmen were extra-cute in this volume! And we have another adorable cameo from his child-incarnation when he gets feverish and "melts" again.

Dibanding beberapa volume sebelumnya yang punya banyak chapter dengan cerita-cerita singkat namun berkesan, volume kali ini cuma ada 3 chapter yang udah mulai berhubungan.

Kalo volume sebelumnya penulis konsisten ngenalin tokoh biar nggak lupa, di volume ini perkenalan tokoh udah mulai berkurang. Chapter yang kusukai pas Himuro jadi mengecil, imut banget. Di volume ini kayaknya Fuyutsuki mulai 'ngeh' sama perasaannya menurutku. Nggak sabar pingin baca volume selanjutnya.

Himuro spends a day with Fuyutsuki and her cat.

This volume focused on the two main characters and included lots of 'snow descendant' moments so I liked it more than the last volume. Poor Himuro, who is so excited to be asked to spend a day alone with Fuyutsuki, only to find that's not quite what's happening.

There is also a company sports festival, a work overnight trip, and helping Himuro's sister learn to sing.
