The last person she expected to see that night was her ex Brady, the only man she’s ever loved, the same man who threw her away and smashed her heart and left her broken. Four years ago, but what hurts the most is the fact that he doesn’t recognise her. She needs to make him pay for the devastation he caused. Will she be able to go through with her revenge or will she fall for him all over again?
Brady can have any woman he wants with the snap of his fingers, being a football star women always want him, so when he spots a gorgeous woman at the bar he knows she’s who he is taking home tonight. They arrive at his apartment and his plan giving her a night to remember, but when she announces that they have met before he’s shocked to realise he hasn’t recognised the woman he gave his heart to, the woman his father made leave behind. But this time he is the one in the driving seat and he’s making Kit his this time and it’s going to last forever. Can he finally tell her the truth and when she knows will she give him another chance?
Enjoyable bedtime read. However although Brady is known as the campus playboy there is never any mention of her past. 3.8* read.
3.75 second chance ⭐ Brady and Kit lost their virginity to each other back in high school. Flash forward to college and she's pre-med and he's a football star that doesn't recognize her. How do you think that goes over with Kit? Written in both of their point of views - this is a cute, less than an hour read about second chances.

I enjoy Second Chance romances and I’m glad that Brady and Kit got theirs. This is a short and steamy read about former high school lovers who see each other again in college. She’s a premed student and he’s a football player. They meet again when he hits on her at a bar, not recognizing her as the girl he loved. She is heartbroken that he doesn’t remember her and isn’t sure she can give him another chance.
It took me a bit to like Brady. How does he not even recognize a girl he was in love with in high school? A girl it took him at least a year to stop thinking about? How much of a player do you have to be to forget so much?? I also didn’t really like that his answer to forgetting about her again was immediately going on a double date with a previous hook up. However if you remember this in the context of college kids, you remember that they aren’t the most mature. With that in mind, give this book a read. Kit is a hell of a lot of fun to read. She’s ready for revenge and then walking away. She’s going to make him work for a second chance if that’s what he wants. They also have a great ending that gives the reader all the answers they need about what happened and what’s to come.

2.75 So this was okay for a novella. You definitely have to suspended you beliefs, because the whole premise is so not believable. I prefer my stories to be believable and there was no way I was believing Brady forgot her, after only 4 years, no one changes that much. This book could use some editing, for instance the word me was used a lot when it should have been my. Besides a couple of editing issues, the writing was decent. The excuse for Brady walking away was definitely bull. Cutting ties with no explanations suck, I’ve been there and it’s the worst. I wish this novella would have been longer that 60ish pages, I think it would have helped connect me to the characters.

This was an ok read. I’d class it as chewing gum for the brain! The main plot was very unbelievable. If Brady felt that strongly about Kit back in school, how did he not recognise her? This just didn’t make sense, so it made the book and the characters hard to connect with. Once the story gets going, it is a bit intriguing as something is hinted at with what happened to make Brady walk away the first time around. However, the reveal for this was a bit boring. I wanted more of a solid reason than this. Maybe if the book had been longer, it would have made a better read as there would have been scope for character development and more drama to be included. As it stands, the book was just ok. A three-star read from me.
High school sweethearts but apparently not impressionable Brady and Kit were each other’s first yet years later he doesn’t even recognize or acknowledge her imagine the hurt. Kit is majoring in pre-med willing to put in the work to become her dream. Brady sexy as all get out football star, arrogant and your typical jock who change women like he changes clothes. So, meeting Kit again asking himself how he could forget such a beautiful and how can he get her attention to apologize to her, will she forgive him, and can they find something more like happiness?

I thought this story was a fun quick read. Kit runs into Brady and he totally doesn't recognize her even though they were each other's first loves and lovers. There is a lot of regret and hurt feelings that they will need to overcome if they want a future together. It was a cute stroy albeit not with a lot of character development though I do realize this is a novella.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Brady and Kit. They were each other's first, but he cut the relationship short without reason. Now he's hitting on her at a bar. He had no clue who she is, but she knows. Determined to get revenge, she plays along. But she gets more than she bargained for

Kit’s plan to make Brady feel bad is successful, but then backfires when he forces his way back into her life. He acknowledges he is not a great guy when it comes to women, but he had no choice but to leave her behind (which he does not share with her). Pretty good story even though Kit is the one who behaves badly most of the time.

Story line is great, and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
Kit and Brady’s story was sweet. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Brady at first but he eventually won me over. I was happy that they were both able to set aside their past and reach for their HEA.
Not enough story to actually satisfy. This just 100 miles an hour and I just couldn’t enjoy it as a whole or in pieces. There wasn’t enough about the characters to make them likable or to make the reader want to root for them.
