Out of three WWP Bible studies I’ve done, this one is my least favorite. The topics were written for women who are married with children. The section on motherhood didn’t address Mary as our Blessed Mother. Had it not been for the group I was doing this study with, I wouldn’t have finished it.

Very good. This is one of several Bible studies I’ve done. This one (actually all of them) have been very practical and timely. We are asked to look up Bible verses and they are applied to our everyday lives and friendships. I really like this format. If I did the study every weekday as is suggested instead of waiting till the day before meeting with my group I would have gotten more out of it. Completing this gives one hope and grounding in this chaotic world we live in.

I think I am getting tired of these books.. the same old style of looking up a bible verse and writing it down and answering questions that are answered in the following paragragh. It is a good book but when I have already done all the other books, I am not sure it offers much new material. Of course it should be done in a group and all group study books can be better or worse depending on your group and how willing they are too go deep.

This was the first book of in the Walking with Purpose series that I read and participated in a women's bible study group. I didn't like the book and I stopped reading it part way the study. I really enjoyed our discussions so the book led to really good discussions even though I stopped reading the book because it just wasn't working for me.

Each of the Walking With Purpose bible studies has inspired me to live life with greater devotion and to grow closer to God. These are the tools that strengthen my faith and connect me to my community. I love that they are designed by women and for women’s modern lives, yet rooted in learning the Bible as an adult.

If your looking for a bible study that will bring you closer with your relationships in life this is a great place to start. It is definitely more effective discussing chapters with a group of women. Overall a very good study.

This wasn’t my favorite of Lisa’s book studies, but I still gleaned some helpful life insights and as always enjoyed fellowship with my small group of bible study women.

A solid Bible study but not having children made it feel like significant portions did not apply to me.
