What will I have to surrender to make a deal with my enemy?
As the skull, I never thought I'd ask myself this question.
The stakes are high, and Jarro, my enemy, won't stop until he's made me pay. But now there's someone else on my tail, and I can't decide who's the sexy vampire with the power to break more than my heart, or the warlock who holds too many of my past secrets.
As the most hunted paranormal, I need to stay alive and reach the end of this dangerous game. But when something precious is ripped from me, my thirst for revenge takes over. And there's only one paranormal who can help me achieve that goal. The Vampire King.
I'll have to surrender more than I ever thought possible to survive, let alone win.
Can enemies ever be friends? Can they ever be more? I'm not sure, but I'm about to find out...
This is an adult urban fantasy with adult themes and situations.
When I wasn’t riding a camel through the Rajasthani desert, white water rafting the rapids on the Zambezi, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls bridge or hiking the peeks in Pakistan, I was piloting a twin prop into remote aboriginal communities in northern Western Australia or staring down a microscope in a laboratory.
Now somewhat tamed, the microscope has morphed into a computer and I spend more time plotting dire situations for my protagonists than being in them myself.
Nothing happened in terms of romance and the FMC becoming more powerful. No chemistry, no potential h since the vampire king is in relationship with another women, and did not really show any interest to the weak and pathetic FMC. Don't care for beat the heroine who fumble and is constantly being beaten or captured. This is not a romance read but more about telling how the heroine is weak who is everyone wants for something that wasn't explained. Even the twin sister was better than the heroine in looks and power. The only thing the heroine can do is control animals.
Don't care for OW drama, weak heroine, and the worst with no romance type of read. Book one was okay and I thought there might be an interest from the h but nope. The h was not even shown at 80% of the book. Showing the h kissing the OW with more interest than towards the heroine was annoying. Disappointed that this book did not deliver. In my opinion opinion, this series so far is not a romance type. What a wasted read. Can't recommend this one.
