As the fifth child and third daughter of Queen Victoria, Princess Helena’s destiny in her mother’s eyes was to make a life for herself as a useful companion to the Queen. Here is the story of how Princess Helena found that husband and their wedding day in 1866 at Windsor Castle. This is the fifth book in the series, Royal Weddings, which highlights the wedding days of various royal figures from the nineteenth to the early twentieth centuries
