Recap:
Ayla is pregnant, her IUD was defective and they removed it, hoping it doesn’t affect anything. She is heading to SC to visit her man and bestie in 2 days. She wants to tell him in person so she keeps it from him at the beginning of the trip so she tells her bff Cora and Ryder finds out. Ryder thinks he’s gonna freak due to his past and when Ayla finally tells him…in the beginning she is annoyed by club whores trying to get his attention and piss her off and in her tour of the clubhouse she finds a sex room in which she’s kinda grossed out but tries to ignore. When she finally tells him, he freaks and Kane attacks/blames Ayla and thinks she trapping him when in no way she is. When he doesn’t come back home that night she knows in the morning where to find him, the clubhouse. She finds Fifty and he tells her no to but he’s in the dark room and she finds him with the club whore naked in his lap. She wakes him up with a mug thrown right past his head at the brick wall and she storms out as he realizes what’s happened. He breaks her heart and she runs out with no one following her, and she tells her bff she needs time. After a little fifty gets her and she has to rush to the hospital and has a miscarriage. Thankfully fifty is there for her and gives her that big brother strength she needs, I g with Cora when she gets there. Ayla refuses to see him and he is losing it but she doesn’t care. She heads home the next day and over the next few months he tries to contact her but she needs time to move on and grow. Kane is a wreck and gets into an accident and gets a dui, he spends a month in jail and loses his license for 5 months. Over that time he cleans up his shit and grows up, he wants to win her back and with Cora’s help he might. Cora and Ryder offer to have Ayla come visit for New Years Eve, she expects a plane ticket but then Kane shows up at her dad’s house in Christmas to drive her down. He offers to pay for a ticket if she doesn’t want to be with him but she realized over the last five months that she didn’t handle the situation well either and maybe it was a blessing in disguise because she’s not ready to be a mom yet. She agrees to go down to South Carolina with him for New Year’s eve and on the way they talk and clear up a lot of things. They get back together but keep it secret at first, except to fifty, he kinda knew. They reveal they are back together at the New Year’s Eve party and that she’s staying in SC! After 6 months things are great but Kane isn’t sleeping well and Ayla does know how to help, he seems to have a lot in his mind. They are headed back to New Hampshire for the rally again the following year and a visit her dad. Her dad has them over for dinner and the invite the entire motorcycle club in which Ayla is a little surprised but just goes with it. When she steps back outside she is then surprised with everyone staring at her and Kane proposing to her he wanted to make sure her dad wasn’t involved. HEA

Midway through book one thIs story became pretty boring, but I was interested enough to pick up book two to see how Kane and Ayla got to their HEA. Unfortunately, Kane continued to be a complete POS -going from besotted biker, to commitment-phobe, to downright cruel, then back again to all in with h. Of course Ayla eventually forgives him, but after the way he acted after she told him she was pregnant…there’s no way she should build a life around this guy.

I've been waiting for this book since I read the first one. Devoured it in a day. Love Ayla, I thought Kane was a jerk, to be honest. Well, one sexy jerk. Together, their chemistry was off the charts. I like how it portrayed real-life issues that have a sensitive nature. The side characters intrigued me as well so hopefully, some of their stories get told as well. All in all, it was a great read!

One again, I can’t put Samantha’s books down 😂. This book was so relatable that I just kept turning the pages and finished it in 3 hours.
Love the characters, and that Ayla got a little spunk to speak up when things happened that she didn’t like. Kane was the typical biker “bad boy” with the attitude to match, I hated how stubborn he was at times but in the end he showed his soft side and went after what he cared about most.
Fifty is probably one of my favorite characters, I don’t know what it is about him, but I feel like I would be drawn to him too, just like Ayla.

Wow I couldn’t wait for this book to come out after I read the first ! She is such a good writer , this book made me cry, laugh , smile. It is truly such a. Good book her characters are sexy, funny and so exciting to read about. This is a must read for sure !! Please read this book, it’s amazing !!!! Nice work

Loved the cruel H drama. Didn’t love how good the h was at gaslighting herself and making excuses for Kane. He should’ve had to work a lot harder. Also, her dad liking him despite being a cop was a stretch!

It Was Okay
I really liked the first book but this one was a bit disappointing. While I understand it was more of a romance than it was a biker action story it really was pretty boring. I loved Ayla in the first book, but in this one she was so docile and submissive. I couldn’t tolerate it. The way he acted when she told Kane she was pregnant was pretty unforgivable, yet she folds. Then there are the loose ends. First Kane’s ex-Taylor. Why even add her if nothing else is going to happen?The second was Ayla’s mom. Again, why bother if you’re not going to pursue it?
Decent distraction but I wouldn’t read it again.

F-preg = h finds out she is pregnant despite an IUD
Cheating = h tells H about pregnancy, H flips out and leaves. H ends up at MC house and gets drunk and goes to the f*ck room with two girls. H claims he did not have sex with them but he did finger diddle one to completion. Such a considerate guy.
h sees H with OW = h comes by the next morning and finds naked chick all cuddled up on H's lap; h runs away and ends up with miscarriage (could have been because of IUD removal, stress, running, etc. but the fact is she lost the baby).
Grovel = H texted a few times, said he was sorry...and that's about it, he did not make any steps to change his behavior so that he will get over his commitment issues or show any kind of grief or remorse about the miscarriage to the h. Pretty low level grovel, but MC right??!!

This was a quick, easy read and the writing just flows — I really love Samantha Montague’s writing style.
Ayla and Kane were great! They’ve got amazing chemistry and when they’re together, they’re such a cute, sweet couple. But wow, Kane really acts like an arse when he overreacts to Ayla’s pregnancy news. Then the next day Ayla catches him in a compromising situation and she’s done — can’t blame her!
I liked that Ayla didn’t give in right away and made him suffer a bit. Totally deserved. I also loved the MC family — such a lively group — and I’ll definitely be picking up Fifty’s book next.
Overall, a fast, fun, and enjoyable read!

I was completely invested in the couple’s journey and the trials they faced, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them and the club all over again. The story had the perfect balance of grit, heart, and heat, keeping me turning the pages late into the night. This book reminded me why I love MC romance—it’s raw, emotional, and full of love that’s worth fighting for.

Perfect second chapter!
Book 2 was great! Really enjoyed reading the true and real love these two have for eachother. I do wish the ending was longer, or there was an epilogue about their future. I understand there is book three with Fifty's story, so hopefully there is more of Ayla and Kane in there. Such a good read and recommend this. Started great after the cliff hanger ending of book 1.

The ride of a lifetime
I enjoyed reading the first one so much and could not wait to read book 2. This did not disappoint and once I started reading I couldn't put this down. I devoured this one in an afternoon. The love between these two are undeniable. Please tell me there is another book coming in the future. This series is just so good. Could not recommend more.

The storyline was amazing and heartbreaking, the couple had issues with trust and commitment. Kent struggled with being faithful to Ayla. I enjoyed reading about how this couple were able to find a happy ending.

I love their obsession with each other but I also love that the mc didn’t just take the MMCs side when he screwed up. They took the FMCs side. They knew where it was all headed and they tried to protect her just as much as they would him. Most mc stories don’t do that so i really appreciate that from this story!

Love the couple and happy to see how their story wrapped up. Only thing that prevented me giving 5 stars was I felt like his grovel wasn’t enough. There didn’t seem to ever be any real conversation to clear up what happened and his reactions, just mini talks and time letting things pass. But the rest of the story was great and emotional!
