Knights Through Time #15

A Knight in Tarnished Armor

Rate this book
Last summer, on what was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime, Amy’s best friend vanished without a trace.

After much pleading, her parents agreed to one final trip to England to search for clues as to what really happened to Lily, and then she'll come home and get on with her life. But when she’s accused of tampering with the dig and loses her job, not to mention any chance of working in the field ever again, Amy flees and everything goes horribly wrong. Then she meets an unlikely trio of sisters, fellow time travelers, who just might be able to aid her.

Christopher de Savage, the feared Wolf of Wolfshire, has no time for damsels in distress, especially ones that break his nose. He has a castle to repair, enemies knocking at the drawbridge, and somehow has to find a way back into the good graces of his brother.

“Would you like an adventure now, or should we have our tea first?”
-Alice in Wonderland

Cynthia Luhrs spends her time out on the deck, looking out over the mountains, imagining what if. She writes women’s fiction, time travel romance, contemporary romance, family sagas, paranormal romance, and thrillers. Readers say her books (well not the thrillers, those are gritty) are light-hearted reads to escape reality.
She lives in the mountains of North Carolina, has always been a reader, and is overly fond of sparkly flip flops and pretty pens. Though now that she lives in the mountains she’s going to have to find fabulous boots, mittens, and hats!

Great new story in the series!

Amy finds her life turned upside down after the disappearance of her best friend Lily after a night of dancing and partying in an old castle. Friends and family have grieved her loss, held a funeral and yet Amy just can’t move on or get closure. After getting fired from her job, an archeological dig because the leader believes she planted an artifact at the site and a chance meeting with a suspicious old woman Amy comes to believe her friend did not in fact perish on the I’ll fated evening but instead took a tumble back in time!

Many adventuress await Amy as she herself is thrust back in time and into the care of Christopher, also a lost soul. Together they share many adventures on her way to locate Lily.

This book can easily be read as a stand alone yet I appreciate the connectivity of all the books in the series it makes for a much richer reading experience. Highly recommend this new adventure! Pick up a copy, you won’t be disappointed.

Having read this book in one day is an indication of how much I liked it.

You would have to read the previous book to understand what is happening.

This book is a nice little escape from reality and a fun read.
If you like books like the time travelers wife and have a passion for historical fiction I’m sure you will enjoy this book.

This is the final book in the series and I felt a great loss not to have another book to continue. Cynthia Lines shares details that made me feel a part of the action. If you like time travel romances, you have a wonderful action packed journey to enjoy .

I love reading time travel books and this author is one of my favorites. She makes you feel as if you are actually there. Amy goes back in time to find her friend Lily and in her travels she finds Christopher. He lost his memory after he was attacked. They both have a long road to travel together, but it was worth it in the long run. Some action and danger. HEA.

Incredible series…

Presently up to book 15 where Amy and Lily find each other again along with falling for the handsome brothers. I don’t want this series to end…!! Please write more in the time travel series Cynthia. I’ve learnt such a lot historically about the practicalities of living in this time. Great research.

The Wolf and the Gypsi in Time

Another awesome story in this Time Travel Saga. Definitely not a stand alone. You need to at least read the previous title. I myself am binging the whole series from book 1 to this book 15. I highly recommend this episode of A Knight in Tarnished Armor.

Yes! I highly recommend not only the series, but this particular story.

Good but not as Good as other romances

I liked the romance version, but less war would be nice, maybe not quite as intense & exciting, however it would be more refreshing because every story seems to revolve around a bloody war! Thanks
