An all star anniversary celebration of Wonder Woman with several different creative teams.
The Wild Hunt - Finale by Steve Orlando & Jesus Merino - ★★★
The conclusion of the Year of the Villain story line that G. Willow Wilson began but couldn't be bothered to stick around and finish. It was also long enough for DC to separate into two trades. It's an OK story, although seeing Cheetah try and use Wonder Woman's weapons just seems weird.
From Small Things, Mama by Gail Simone & Colleen Doran - ★★★★
The great Gail Simone returns to Wonder Woman for a story about Diana mentoring a young superhero with goofy flower powers, Star Blossom. Colleen Doran's Wonder Woman is always welcome.
The Interrogation by Mariko Tamaki & Elena Cassagrande - ★★
I didn't know what was going on here. Wonder Woman is being interrogated by a police detective when everything flips around. I hope the rest of her run will make more sense.
Never Change by Greg Rucka & Nicola Scott - ★★★★★
Easily the best story in here. The creative team from Wonder Woman Rebirth return. Wonder Woman makes a deal with Circe to try and help Cheetah return back to normal.
To Leave Paradise by Kami Garcia & Phil Hester - ★★
A quick story about Diana's childhood. Phil Hester's art looked very hurried.
Emergency Visit by Shannon and Dean Hale & Riley Rossmo - ★
This is some of the worst art I've seen in my 30+ years of reading comics. Why does DC keep giving this guy work? This is one of the better pages I could find.
To Me by Marguerite Bennett & Laura Braga - ★★
This was kind of a strange primer for Bombshells. The character designs for this series is fantastic (which isn't surprising since the whole thing started as a line of statues from DC). This recap is hard to follow.
Always by Vita Ayala & Amancay Nahuelpan- ★★★★
I liked this story of redemption of Silver Swan from George Perez's relaunch. Nahuelpan's art is very good, especially since I'd never heard of them before.
A Brave new World by Scott Snyder & Bryan Hitch - ★★★
Snyder retcons DC's history to have Wonder Woman be the first superhero, saving FDR at the 1939 World's Fair in Queens. I am curious if they'll take this any further now that Dan Didio has been fired and 5G revamped into Future State.

One of the BEST Wonder Woman compilations ever done. Every story focuses on the heart, soul, mercy & compassion of the Amazon Princess. It demonstrates how truly selfless she is. It shows us that justice & mercy can be a part of the same narrative. And that showing compassion for your enemies doesn’t mean you’re weak... it means you’re STRONG!
I’ve been reading a lot of self-help books lately. Partly, to get me through this shit show called 2020. But issue #750 of Wonder Woman is the only self-help book I need to read. I will reread it often ♥️⭐️💫

Wonder Woman is surely one of the greatest literary heroes of our time, at least in my opinion anyway. This anniversary compilation really showed the best of her. I'm so obsessed with her being this beacon of power and strength in "man's world" and then she goes home to her Mum who's like "Baby are you eating enough??? Are you seeing anyone??? Superman and Batman aren't undervaluing your labour are they???". Tbh this special just made me wanna CRY I love her

Another anniversary issue from DC, and IMO the strongest yet (although I am pretty biased when it comes to WW). This had less stories than Action Comics and Detective Comics did, which worked in its favor because they seemed to go for quality over quantity. With the exception of one story (the final issue in Wilson/Orlando's run) I felt like every story made sense to include in here. I also appreciated that a lot of the writers chosen were female and also a majority of the writers have worked on Wonder Woman before, so it truly felt like an homage. The stories themselves ranged from sweet to inspirational and all perfectly embodied this quote from Gail Simone's original Wonder Woman run:

There are a lot of fun stories, but From Small Things, Mama was by far the best. The real downside is that the main story concluded an arc. It would have been better to start a new story as people buying this to celebrate wonder woman would be completely lost. Like me.

Some nice (The Amazonium) and not-so-nice (Nubia? Orana? really, ORANA?!NAFF OFF ORANA!) nods to Wonder Woman history don't make this a good comic per se. Bad writing and serviceable art dominate this whole issue from start to finish. Also, why the fuck they turned Vanessa Kapatelis into Silver Swan? wasn't she supposed to be friend of Diana like her mother? complete nonsense. I hope to get back to Golden Age WW (the REAL Wonder Woman, if you ask me) as soon as possible...

A collection of Wonder Woman stories, not the main ones we know but almost like continuations of the main adventures. Not bad but a bit confusing for me as I didn't know where each story was from. Great messages though.

It's hard to give an overall score to this as it is an assemblage of nine new Wonder Woman stories with some fabulous art between. I've broken them down below with some rough impressions without spoilers.
"The Wild Hunt" 3/5 - It's a little disappointing that the ongoing Wonder Woman narrative just didn't excite me very much. I feel like the conflict with Cheetah has been drawn out for so long without doing much to develop Silencer. Interested to see where things go.
"From Small Things, Mama" 5/5 - This is cute. This is all about love. This is what I dig in my Wonder Woman.
"The Interrogation" 4/5 - Doesn't really bring a new plot (in terms of writing generally, let along WW), but I could still appreciate it.
"Never Change" 5/5 - Ahhh, Rucka and Scott together again. This is my sweet spot. I feel like the execution for Cheetah is so precise here and contained that it makes the main story pale in comparison.
"To Leave Paradise" 4/5 - I thought I wouldn't appreciate seeing an origin story again, but I liked that it was more psychological. Felt kind of YA.
"Emergency Visit" 3/5 - I really liked the story, but I really hated Riley Rossmo's art on this one. I think he has talented and has drawn Diana well elsewhere, but here her tiara looks like it's melting down her face. It was weirdly distracting.
Bombshells short 4/5 - I didn't see an actual title on this one. It's more the Bombshells and Steve reflecting on Diana than a set story, but I've read enough of the series to appreciate it.
"Always" 4/5 - Another story that shows Diana's preference for love over violence, even in the midst of a big battle.
"A Brave New World" 4/5 - A nice little retro short reaching back into history.

This special edition to the Wonder Woman comics celebrates the 750th issue. It is filled with a number of short, unrelated Wonder Woman stories done by different writers and different artists who have worked with this character over the years. Most of the stories and artwork are superb. In fact, this issue has exactly what I look for in Wonder Woman comics; namely examples of Diana's compassion and desire to help her enemies overcome the issues that cause them to be evil in the first place. This is what separates WW from other DC characters like Superman and Batman. Diana works to reform her enemies and turn them into friends (or back into friends as one of the long-running tropes is a former friend turns evil). It is these redemption arcs that interest me. For example, in one story Diana goes to Circe to see if she can use her magic to change Cheetah back into Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva. This was a scenario I had thought about being a possibility in the past and I am glad to see DC explore this angle. The comic also shows Diana working to reform The Silver Swan to return to being Vanessa Kapatelis; another former friend of Wonder Woman's. There's something about these attempts at redemption that really speak to me and gives me hope that the fights between Wonder Woman and her villains aren't something that is locked into a forever battle but can at some point end. I realize that this might be a bridge too far because thematically it seems imprudent to lose such imaginative villains. Still, I applaud the effort Diana puts into doing what's right instead of just beating everyone up every month.*

That was fun. It’s interesting to see a milestone issue that eschews a big story and just tells a bunch of small stories. Odder still to read it as a deluxe hardcover. A terrible value but I got it from the library.

A mixed bag anniversary celebration for Wonder Woman. Most of the stories are decent, with only one or two highlights, but most are quick and easily forgettable. The art varies in quality from decent to excellent. Unfortunately, one particular section is really really ugly, you'll know it when you see it. It's a quick read and should satisfy Wonder Woman fans but there's better out there.
Recommended for Wonder Woman fans.

It's been 750 issues of Wonder Woman and this collection of short stories encompasses some of her most famous traits.
...well tries to anyways. I think the collection opted to focus more on Diana's tendency towards compassion towards her enemies and the mercy she often tries to give when dealing with them. Which I think is important and is something that should be highlighted with this character. However, there is the other side of the character as well, where she fights battles and saves the innocent from danger. And that's what I think the collection lacked. The focus was too strong on only one side of her character. And while most of the stories were good to ok, the repetitiveness of the same themes over and over kind of made it a bit of a boring read in my opinion.
The book looks great however, with some amazing talent lending their services for this celebration. And the deluxe edition has some great pinups at the end that are awesome to look at. I think artwise, this book is really strong.
I would still recommend the book for die hard fans of Wonder Woman, but for me, the collection was not rounded out enough to truly show all the dimensions of Wonder Woman as a character.

The deluxe edition of Wonder Woman #750 holds many delightful covers by various artists as well as some terrific short stories. Oddly, the main story “The Wild Hunt Finale”, the conclusion of a longer story arc is the weakest of the bunch.
Highlights include “From Small Things, Mama” by Gail Simone and Colleen Doran, a tale where Diana mentors Star-Blossom, a young and innocent superhero. “Never Change” by Greg Rucks and Nicola Scott is a poignant Cheetah tale (unlike the main story, which also features Cheetah). “A Brave New World” by Scott Snyder and Bryan Hitch is set in 1939, features FDR and Wonder Woman’s introduction to America.
I’m a sucker for the special commemorative issues of DC superheroes and this one is worth it just for the spectacular cover images of Wonder Woman.

Πολύ τίμια συλλογή με ιστορίες της Wonder Woman για την επέτειο των 750 τευχών. Τα σχέδια και τα σενάρια κινούνται σε πολύ καλά επίπεδα! Η πιο "αδύναμη" ιστορία, σεναριακά και σχεδιαστικά, πιστεύω ότι ήταν η "Emergency Visit". Επίσης δε μου άρεσε που η πρώτη και μεγαλύτερη σε μέγεθος ιστορία είναι το τελευταίο κομμάτι της κυρίας ιστορίας ενός πολύ μεγάλου event της dc (το year of the villain). Για κάποιον που δεν έχει ασχοληθεί με το event και θέλει να πάρει το επετειακό τεύχος είναι κρίμα να "χάσει" έτσι την μεγαλύτερη ιστορία του τεύχους. Θα προτιμούσα είτε το πρώτο μέρος ενός καινούργιου story arc είτε κάτι εντελώς ξεχωριστό που να δένει με την υπόλοιπη συλλογή.

Albo celebrativo del personaggio, certamente l'eroina di maggior successo editoriale di sempre, contenente diverse storie. La migliore, molto probabilmente, è la terza, disegnata da Elena Casagrande. Nel complesso si legge bene, ma i troppi stili di disegno mi hanno un poco urtato.

I thought this was very weak. I would have liked to have seen DC give Wonder Woman the same treatment they gave Batman and Superman for their anniversary issues. Disappointing and not nearly worth the $10 I paid for it.

while you miss a little if you weren't reading the ongoing this is worth reading regardless. the short stories and art is fantastic. if you pick up the deluxe edition like i did even the variant cover gallery makes it worth it alone.

I was disappointed in this round-up of "best" stories from Wonder Woman. The quality was uneven, though I did enjoy them all. And it was interesting to see the changes in the art and costume, though very few of the early stories from the 60s were included.

A great ensemble to celebrate the amazon warrior princess. Each short story is unique and beautifully written, it captures the true spirit of Wonder Woman.

A great introduction to reading the character! Contains lots of different writing and art styles, and every story is worth reading.
