Jesus in Islam: The story of Jesus (pbuh) from Quran and Hadith
This book is for you if you are eager to learn what the Muslims think of Jesus (peace be upon him)
In it, I have tried to arrange English translations of some Quranic verses and Hadith, about Jesus (pbuh), into sections that are somewhat chronological. I have added my commentary only where needed.
Jesus (pbuh) has a very special place in Islam. Muslims love Jesus (pbuh). The followers of Islam i.e. Muslims hold him in high regard and show their love and respect by quickly adding the salutation “peace be upon him” (pbuh) right after his name. Prophet Noah (pbuh), Abraham (pbuh), Moses (pbuh), Jesus (pbuh), and Mohammad (pbuh) are the top five messengers sent, by Allah, to guide mankind. They all preached the oneness of Allah. The Muslim holy book, Quran, has plenty to say about all these prophets including Isa (pbuh) or as he is more popularly known today, Jesus (pbuh). Additionally, Jesus (pbuh) is mentioned in several authentic prophetic traditions called Hadith. His return to earth figures prominently in the end-of-times Hadith.
The book is divided into chapters based on the stages of Jesus's (pbuh) life.
