The set up for the finale
This book was harder for me. The 4th book in this fantasy world of death, destruction, abuse, pain, and heart break. It's hard to read terrible stuff this long even though I have hope for this to be fixed by our heroin time traveler. This book seemed really slow with more detailed fluff instead of moving the story along. I know it is necessary to build it up for the finale. I'm super sad I need to wait a year to get the last book. No happily ever after and a cliffhanger.

Wow...another enjoyable plunge into these worlds
What a command of dialogue. What a knack for soliciting concern for the characters. Fine detailing of conflicts. Variety of powers amongst characters. Every ending somehow a beginning. Great sex scenes.
