But…with a man who has all he could possibly want at the tip of his fingers, what’s next? That was a question he asked himself every day until he saw Christine. A woman determined not to repeat past mistakes. What would a man, who has taken and controlled every aspect of his life, do to convince a woman of free will to love him? Anything. *Trigger Warning*: This book is a dark romance. There are darker elements in this story than our others. There is stalking, obsessive behavior, and manipulation involved. Not all relationships are healthy, but they do exist. Some even earn redemption. That is what this series is about. Adult themes, Adult Language, Sexual content, for the ages 18+

This was a good book I always gi e this duo 5 stars cause I want to see them win. But this book wasn't as dark as they made it seem you see more controlling characters written by authors like Theodora Taylor even "Dipping Into Sin" dude was dark and I loved it. Anyway I liked this book I wish they would say how many books there will be because I am not reading until the series is complete. I hate waiting for books to drop. You won't regret this read did hate her friends and I disliked the words they used.
I was really excited for this book. I just felt like the story may have tapped out along the way. I love the author’s work but the title felt a bit misleading along with the triggers. This is just based on book 1 alone. Is he obsessive…eh, sure. Aires are more intense and girls give the same FBI agents vibes he gave me w/ regards zoning in a crush. Her friends, eh they seem like associates/hs friends you forget after college. She needs a new bestie or make her family with her new man. I dunno, they- friends -are all trash imo. I just can’t connect with the mains personalities yet but I will see this story through bc it still has potential. I loved when he gave me some dom energy. Okayyyyyy…I ki-kiii…Who knows, maybe this is a premature review.
I always love the quirky and simmering love stories by this writing pair. Everett and Christine are just two voices..... She keeps his calendar and keeps him organized. They speak daily but have never physically met. When Everett hears her voice one day outside of their business dealings.....he immediately recognizes her and is just as quickly smitten. He moves heaven and earth to bring her into his orbit. But how will she react to his manipulations? Part 1 carefully built their relationship... I can't wait for the next segment as I am sure Everett's façade will unravel. I love both of these odd people and they are so cute together.
I preordered part 3 of Cherish and Simon.....just waiting and anticipating diving in!!!!!!
