SOMETIMES, WHAT YOU DON’T WANT, TURNS OUT TO BE SOMETHING YOU NEED.
As the Diablo Disciples Enforcer, Ruin is formidable. He’s surly, unapproachable, and carries vengeance like a bad mood. There was nothing he longed for in life. Until a stunning stalker caught his attention. And he was changed forever.
And then the game was on. For a year, he shadowed and kept her a secret from everyone. Getting to know the woman who was too good for him. Ruin wanted all the firsts with her. He almost forgot there was a danger coming after his club. And for him.
Nothing prepared Aurora for the dynamic biker. Watching her. Guarding her. Obsessing over her. She lived an isolated life, far from the stardom she’d once had. Suffering from agoraphobia, she fell into her Ruin feelings. Swept up in his tenderness, falling in love. Never expecting what was looming. And how she’d have to face all her fears at once.
SOMETIMES THE PUSH YOU NEED COMES FROM A MONSTER.

I write steamy, emotionally driven contemporary and MC romance, featuring tough-as-nails alpha men who only show their soft side for their person.
My books are packed with dirty talk, detailed sex scenes, and swoony, slow-burn chemistry that explodes. I lean into dark-lite themes, sometimes forbidden tropes, but I always deliver that satisfying, well-earned HEA.
Currently, I’m riding with bikers and bad boys—but one day I’ll be bringing you the dirtiest, most seductive vampire in paranormal romance. If you love intense love stories, broken characters, and men who love hard and fight harder, I’ve got something for you. 🖤
No matter how morally grey a hero is, he's ALWAYS lauded over, and the heroines are picked apart for the slightest non-toxic things. so, I always go into every book looking for the relatable things in our heroines.
yes, i fking ADORE Ruin and all his glorious red flags. He comes with so many; he lives in the gray and doesn't apologize for his behavior and god, he is fantastic. I'm weak in the knees for that psycho.
But Aurora is so fantastic too. Oh, I love how this author makes every heroine she writes so relatable, so real and raw. With her mental health issues and agoraphobia that has her as a basic shut in now after being so world famous for a decade, you'd imagine she would be a total downer, but Rory had such a positive attitude about her. She tried her best and she loved with her whole heart.
I love how this author doesn't write TSTL heroines. It's a given she writes PERFECT loveable heroes, she's a queen at it, but I truly appreciate the work she puts in for her heroines, too. over 30+ books in this author's arsenal and I'm still falling over my feet to one click buy everything and each couple gets my heart ina stranglehold that just won't let go! That's some talent right there, especially since I have the attention span of a gnat and easily move on.
But this author writes about the dreamiest heroes, even if they're a little unhinged. Like RUIN is. Boy are his red flags out there. BUT I LOVED HIM SO MUCH. Ruin is a lonely guy and so is Rory. They truly were matched so perfectly. This ex-starlet who suffers with bad mental health and the psycho enforcer who can't stay away from her.
I thought their texting for a year was so freaking CUTE. It's my kind of meet-cute. This book, despite its darker edged plotline in the background, had such fun banter between characters. Especially the twin brothers. I loved seeing the background bikers again, this author writes terrific found family.
This book has: Steam out the wazoo! So many growing feelings. Dirty talking hero. Taking care of each other. A fun teacup piglet! Plus size rep.
I freaking adore this book. And I love this whole series. I'm already chewing my hair off ready for the next installment.
Ruin since the moment he was on the page at the beginning of the series he was someone who I was like who is he and what is his secret because as normal V has a way of doing this talking about a character in a fleeting scene and of course it’s the one that people latch on to (Tiny- anyone?). So Ruin was someone who we as the reader knew when he finally got his book he was going to make everyone fall in love hard.
I adored Ruin and Aurora the fact that she was the one who certainly fell first and not the other way round and she had to chip away at him and how she did it was entirely adorable. Their journey is filled with love, at times frustration, and a tea cup pig, because who doesn’t want a tea cup pig.
I found myself constantly flipping through the arc needing to know how it was going to end and the last few chapters had my hand over my mouth and feeling like it was not going to end well and this is what V does so well you end up feeling for these characters and how it make you feel for them I cannot say anything more about it.
And the epilogue made me scream and then reread because I cannot wait until the next generation because they are going to be amazing, and I am loving the little snippets we are seeing now.
I think if you want a full on steamy read with two people who fight for what they want. Check triggers of this book to see if these will be something you can handle- I am happy to discuss triggers if you are interested.
But I am now awaiting the next book in the series because I am looking forward to it again.
Whenever a V. Theia book releases I drop all other books and make no apologies for doing that. I won't even regret staying up all night to read this book when it landed on my kindle at midnight, because it's just that damn good!!!
Reviewing a favorite book is difficult. The characters, setting, and writing were all amazing. Despite being true and more, it's inadequate to put into words what this book did to me and the happy feeling I was left with. But I will try to!
Ruin is our quiet biker, he’s only spoken really with his twin brother. It stems from childhood torment and trauma and now he’s used to it. This IS a standalone romance, but if you go back to books 1,2,3 you do see his story unfolding in the background ( but the author does good to cover all bases so you miss nothing of those details if you haven’t read the previous books in the serious ) we now know Ruin was texting a woman for months. His relationship with Rory grew so organically, it was gorgeous to see this psycho red flag carrying biker fall so hard and accept these new feelings.
Ruin’s never had a relationship!
He’s only had oral from club women, and that was only when his twin was sexing them up at the same time. The brothers were co-dependent until Reno fell in love ( in book 2 ) and that made Ruin feel a type of way.
Psychos are my fave kind of book boyfriend because they have no limits, no boundaries. He does some questionable things but somehow it endears you to the quiet biker.
This book has great mental health rep with a good outcome by the finish. I fricking adored Rory and her teacup pig and eclectic lifestyle.
If you love mc romance with a morally grey hero and a woman who loves all of him without changing him.
If you love a heroine who is fun and funny and works so hard to get out of her comfort zone and can love an unlovable man.
This book is for you!
The author writes my kind of book hubbys. Hands down, she’s my favourite writer because I KNOW I can trust her to deliver on that epic HEA. There’s no cheating or sex with other characters. Ruin is 100% devoted to only Rory.

10 Psycho Monster stars!!!!!! I had absolutely no doubt in my mind that I was going to love Ruin, I just got that vibe from previous books. And then V had to go and write the heck out of this couple and I don’t know what to do with myself! To say I am obsessed is an understatement! I’ve already had to reread because I just loved it so much. Ruin we know is the darkest shade of morally grey and is completely unapologetic about it. He’s the hero who you question yourself about because “grumpy” is an understatement. But is absolute obsession with Aurora is without a doubt my favourite part. While Ms Theia is known to give us men who love their woman and vice versa these two are possible the top of them all. Aurora is next level main character energy, I love how human and unapologetic she is through out the book and while there are parts you question, I realise those questions were only because I could relate!!!! There was not one part of this book I didn’t love, even when I wanted to throw something, it was just all the feels. At this point I don’t know how Vic does it, but every one of her couples is unique and relatable and Aurora is possibly the most relatable one to me. She is legit part of the girl gang and Zara needs to adopt her!! Lol. Now I’m waiting anxiously for the next book which I can tell is going to rip my heart out so I’m off to reread all the MC books again! This is my honest and unbiased review!
The entire time I was reading this song kept running through my mind…. ***** I want you to ruin my life You to ruin my life, you to ruin my life, yeah I want you to fuck up my nights, yeah Fuck up my nights, yeah, all of my nights, yeah I want you to bring it all on If you make it all wrong, then I'll make it all right, yeah I want you to ruin my life*****
Ruin and Rory were the most damaged and dysfunctional characters of this series, and what made them sheer perfection was they did not want to change each other. This was a true book about acceptance in all its many facets. Everyone needs a safe space and the monster was just this for his baby stalker.
V Theia is the raining queen of world building! When my Grinder made an appearance, I was giddy, and when we got a visit from another psycho and his love, I doubled down on my happiness.
Read Ruin and keep falling in love with the Diablo Disciples. Better yet read the Renegade Souls and the Diablo’s to really get all the mind blowing goodness of VTheia land.
I don’t have enough good words in English to review this book, just highly recommend it! Actually, All the series In this series, there’s my least fav tropes: arranged marriage, kidnapping, a huge Manwh… who shared women with his twin brother 🙃 and somehow, this author turned them in the most romantic men and safe books! The things he says to his beauty are so romantic, the way he cares about her, how he treated her… everything is perfect! Give it a try!
Very romantic Very hot sex scenes, explicit and a lot Safe from cheating, sharing and OW drama Triggers: she has agoraphobia and he is a violent man with a past full of abuse. This topic is very well written.
Amazing, can’t wait for the next which is one of my least fav tropes again… a couple in trouble… I’m sure I’ll love it 😍
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
OMFG! I've wanted Ruin since we saw glimpses of his quiet self in book one and now I'm in love more than ever with that biker!! Where do I get a red flag monster who is soft only for her? who will have a year long text relationship and will stalk her to make sure she's safe and well and will play with her teacup pig and ask permission to touch her and give her pleasure?
RUIN IS PERFECTION!! Yes, he does murdery things, he's the club's enforcer. He's so morally grey and he's unapologetic, he doesn't process right and wrong as we would, but oh my god, he is a delight!! He is so gone for Aurora that I was smiling so big watching him fall for her.
I loved how the author tackled Aurora's horrible anxiety and agoraphobia, showing how different her life was now from when she was a famous pop star. It was NOT a sad sack book full of woe and depression, I loved Aurora's outlook and her drive to get well again. Especially getting well for a better life with Ruin. I loved his tactics to help her.
In between their romance, as you'd expect with an MC book, there was danger lurking. Wowza, the author did not hold back Ruin from being who he was and how feral he'd go for his woman.
Did I MENTION I LOVE RUIN?
You can read this book as a standalone, but why would you when there's 3 other fantastic books in this series. You'll want to love allllll the biker brotherhood.
I don't mean to be dramatic but I would burn the world to make Ruin happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fanfuckingtastic read that was. And I know I will read it again soon over and over.
As the title suggests, I'm RUINED by Ruin. I always fall for VTheia's heroes because she writes what I crave. Heroes who are obsessed and loyal and bring the dirty spice. But she also delivers on the best heroines and I think Rory and Ruin were a genius pairing. The agoraphobic former pop star, locked in her own world, and the stalking psycho without boundaries.
Rory's world is very limited and on a nightly trip to the corner store, she was entranced by the sight of Ruin. He noticed her stalking him and was amused. Thus started their relationship and it was a gorgeous page turner.
The biker club is weaved alongside their romance. Reno was funny af!! I loved how he takes the mothering role with Ruin, trying to keep his brother to morals Ruin just doesn't have🤣 Axel was a wonderful Prez. Oh, Tomb, you idiot!! I hope that's resolved. FACES FROM THE RENEGADE SOULS SERIES. - I was so happy!! I am intrigued by Splice. This author gives the best epilogues!!!
This book was everything I didn't know I needed. but now I'm in love with a psycho.
If you are looking for a story about sweet perfect people, then give this a pass. A bl00d drenched Enforcer for an MC and a former music superstar, Ruin and Aurora are messy, flawed, deeply damaged, complete opposites and...absolutely strangely perfect for each other.
I loved the intensity they had for each other. I am not usually a fan of heroines who do the pursuing, especially when the hero is so isolated and removed, so I wasn't sure about how I felt about Aurora being the one to initiate by st@lking Ruin. My concerns were very quickly laid to rest by exactly how different Ruin was with Aurora. He may have been a growly monster who h@ted people with everyone else, but all he wanted to do with Aurora was pull her closer. He still remained, in his words, a monster; but he was HER monster. He accepted her anxiety and agoraphobia without judgement, pity or platitudes. She accepted his trauma while still standing up to him. It was beautiful. Did I mention what a truly dirty talking, insatiable sex machine Ruin is? Yowza. For a man who had no interest in sex beyond the occasional bj and only then as part of a scene that included his brother, Ruin was a deep seething well of hot sexiness. I finished this in 24 hours and loved every word of it. Every. Word.
Once again, I feel like a broken record, but V knocked this story out of the park. I mean, she killed it. Lord, this story gave me all the feels, and I need more. Aurora, or Rory to her friends, is adorable but in an awesome way. Then there is Ruin. GOD! That man. Watching them stalking each other brought out so many laughs. Mainly because Rory really sucked at it. But Ruin, now that man knows how to stalk. I loved how they slowly opened up to each other. My husband thought I was crazy sometimes when I was reacting to everything. But I told you V knows her stuff. I definitely loved this book. Thank you, V, for these amazing characters and yet another brilliant story.
He’s the psycho twin brother of Reno. Ruin doesn’t care about anyone else in the world except his twin. That is until he realizes he’s being stalked by a crazy woman with a pet pig. Aurora has a mental issue that really tugs at your heartstrings.
I love that she didn’t judge Ruin for being a serial unaliver. They were the perfect match because he doesn’t judge her for her condition either. He is her safe place!
The banter between Ruin and Reno was comedy gold. I also enjoyed how Aurora bantered with Ruin. It was adorable in the Im a psychotic serial killer kind of way. 🤣
Ruin is so possessive and protective of Aurora . He’s a stalker but he has the right because she stalked him first. He’s obsessed! I loved that he never thought of other women and was completely consumed with the heroine.
This may be my favorite Vtheia book ever! I couldn’t stop laughing but it also had dark parts that I couldn’t look away from. This one is a great read .
Let me gush the ways about how much I loved Ruin and his baby stalker! I might be talking with my happy emotions right now, but after reading all of this author's MC books and loving them, I think Ruin is her best to date! She writes loveable psychos like no other. I wanted Ruin to get his happy ever after so bad and boy did she deliver on that.
I'm in my feelings and need everyone to read and love him too.
For the safety gang: This author doesn't write cheating or sex scenes with others.
On page murdery scenes. Explicit sex. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️💥💥💥💥💥💥 Kidnap. Agoraphobia and anxiety. Mention of a past SA on page.
It's no surprise this book has earned 5 stars from me. Written brilliantly. I was never bored once! Each page, each chapter built the story in a good pace, making me want more.
I can't get enough of V. Theia's romances. The couples draw me into their lives and make me ache and swoon and pant and cry and laugh. Leaving me so bloody happy by the end.
Like all GOOD MC books, and I'm fussy with MC reads these days, this series delivers on all corners. It has plot lines and addictive tropes. Heroes with flaws but know how to love hard and forever.
Can I hug Aurora? She was a breathe of fresh air. And so funny with her runaway tongue. No wonder Ruin was obsessed with her. And their connection to her past and his? GENUIS and lovely.
Wish I could give Ruin 100 stars. And I wish this series had more readers. I recommend this book and the other 3. So damn addictive.
“She stalked me first.” Will never not make me giggle like an idiot and fill my heart with swoon.
this was the book i have been WAITING for. ever since Ruin appeared in the first book, i knew i was going to love his story. and learning more about what him and Reno went through in Reno’s book, you can’t blame Ruin for who he is.
“𝘏𝘪, 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳.” “𝘏𝘪, 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘦𝘳.”
Aurora (Rory) is the perfect partner for Ruin. and their meeting is so cute and honestly perfect for him. and i loved their text message conversations getting to know each other. both of them have their own issues, but together they work with each other to be what the other needs. Rory is the perfect cute little ray of sunshine that Ruin needs in his life.
Ruin is the psycho stalker we all love. he will do anything to protect her and keep her. all while tracking down his deranged older brother and taking him out.
it’s been a while since i’ve found an MC series i’ve loved and wanted to read all the books about the brothers. and with the epilogues that the author is adding about their kids, we better get a 2nd generations series. i am also wondering if i should go back to read the Rebel Souls series since they they keep popping up.
m/f 3rd person POV 34 fmc / 29 mmc Enforcer for the MC falling through texts touch her & die grumpy x sunshine stalker x stalker obsessed/possessive mmc “mine” fmc has a pet mini pig mental health rep no OW/OM drama no 3rd act breakup HEA epilogue pregnancy in epilogue
How can you love a psycho with no boundaries and all the red flags? EASY, he's RUIN DECASTRO! Sigh, heart pitter-patter. This dark monster made me fall so in love, I am ruined for all other book husbands.
Quotes:
“Nothing will take me away from you. I’m your monster. You’ve tamed me, Aurora.”
“You are so many red flags, Ruin.” Fuck, he was in for the fight of his life. “But I’m keeping you,” she whispered.
“I want to tear into you and pour all these feelings into you, Aurora. You have a monster at your beck and call. Your breathing shadow, who fucking worships every shy glance you send my way and word out of your soft lips.”
Taking his lips across her face, he said shit he’d never told another living person before. “Crazy about you, Aurora. You make me feral.” “You were feral long before me, baby.” She laughed, lifting her face for more of his kisses. “I love every fucking sweet inch of you, and if you think of leaving me one day, I’ll lock you up and wait until you love me back.” Maybe it was too soon to show his insane hand at this stage, but Aurora sweetly sighed and clutched him tighter, like she loved every fucked up declaration he’d given her. “Keep me then.” “I am,” he growled, locking a hand around her neck.
When I say my kindle is highlighted SO MUCH, I'm not even lying. I love the evocative words this author gives.
A must read. Now excuse me while I go back to the beginning and start this book all over again. Some of those spicer scenes will live RENT FREE in my head!! This author knows how to write incredible smut with lots of romance and longing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you want a morally grey pyscho, that raises all sorts of red flags, thats all in and will move Heaven, Earth and Hell for you, then youve met MY Ruin. I wont share, (except maybe with Rory). I now have a favourite reread book. One that will never leave my kindle.
One of my favorite phrases is Ruin saying.... she stalked me first. Rory is one of a kind. Shes so different from every other female Ruin has ever met. I love that SHE made HIM question which one of them was the weird wacko stalker. This random rambling woman, that Ruin even kept from Reno, was the one to bring the Diablo enforcer to his knees, when no man could. Ruin gives Aurora, the strength to work on her mental issues more. He encourages her and gives her incentives, but unlike others in her life, he doesnt push overly hard. With his support shes able to manage more of her life and the things shes always wanted to do. Rory knows that with Ruin in her corner, he will always fight any battle for her, or stand by her side, for the fights she needs to do alone. The partner we all deserve.
Beyond loved this, yes even eith those red flags flying high.
Trope: ☆Stalking to lovers ☆Red flag hero MC Romance Spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 HEA: 100% with a look into the future Cheating: Never
Oh this dirty-talking biker owns me. I love this author for putting so much effort into her heroines. Rory was so endearing and fun. And I really felt for her issues and how she tried to better herself. Together, this broken couple were whole.
The romance and character development always takes center stage in a V. Theia book, which I loooove. But the plot is also there. I loved how it threaded throughout, bringing in the other bikers and we saw some old favorite characters making an appearance😍😍 I appreciate an author who gives these beautiful easter eggs.
The banter between Ruin and his twin brother Reno was SO FUN!!
The spice, the chemistry, the longing and the red flags.... gah, I wanted 500 more pages of it! In real life you would cross the street to get away from this stalking biker, but on the page, all his red flags were gorgeous. He fell hard and I was there for the journey.
Is it too soon to want the next book? The next generation series is going to be INCREDIBLE.
Forehead kisses, holding hands with Aurora, kisses Aurora, and buys her milkshakes. Who saw this coming with Ruin? I loved watching him become more humanized the longer he was with Rory (Aurora).
Due to childhood abuse Ruin only spoke to his twin brother. He’s never had a relationship with a woman let alone having sex or kissing one. He only receives oral from the club hangers-on and only when Reno is having sex with them.
Rory has a pet pig that she takes for walks only at night. She listens to music through headphones and has no idea she has a stalker. Though to be fair she stalked him first. 😊 Her total disregard for her safety has Ruin seeing red. There’s a reason Rory only goes out at night, and I will not spoil it for you.
Ruin and Rory overcome so much to be together. Rory adores her monster and Ruin is passionate, obsessed, and in love.
I loved this book. Honestly, I love every book by this author!
It’s taken me 3 days to formulate my thoughts to put into this review! This book blew my mind; I loved it that much!!! From the start of this series, I knew I needed Ruin and I was sooo happy that this author did not make us wait too long. At the end of Axel, I was chomping at the bit for it!!! Ruin’s book brings you in deep into this world, makes you fall in love with this brotherhood and gives you all the feels.
Ruin had a horrible start in life. We knew a bit about his brother’s book, but this story takes you so much further! I loved these characters and how they seemed to be made just for the other. Their chemistry and heat were off the page and watching them fall in love with one another and work on their struggles made this book a #1 read for me!!! It’s almost like Ruin and Aurora were the missing pieces to each other's broken puzzles. V. Theia, I need more!!!
This book was stalker-y and spicy and I really liked it! Ruin has a lifetime of hardship and he’s never been close to women. He has issues with intimacy and he’s rough around the edges. He’s the enforcer for the club, and he has to do some of the unsavory work for them. So it’s interesting that innocent Aurora would be the one with enough bravery to stalk Ruin. This baby stalker is no match for Ruin, so he quickly turns the table and it’s him that can’t stay away from Rory! I really like the story leading up to the spice, and I love how both characters provided a safe space for the other. Aurora accepts Ruin for who he is, and Ruin helps Rory with overcoming her fears and not hiding in her home anymore. I’m surprised that Ruin was so sweet and gentle with Rory, but I like that side of him. And there’s not just romance, but also mystery and suspense too as Ruin and Reno continue to hunt for their enemy. Recommend this!
I don’t know what I expected, but this wasn’t it—in the best way possible. Let me start by saying that Ruin and Aurora are perfectly imperfect—perfect for each other. So, this is what Ruin was up to on his phone…… This book surprised me, and Ruin surprised me. Before I started the book, I wondered how V. Theia would get Ruin to speak at all, but he had a lot to say. I also wondered if this book would be a slow burn because of his lack of experience, but, again, Ruin was pure fire and a dirty talker—surprising. I don’t know how V does it, but her stories get better and better—Ruin is no exception. The chemistry between Aurora and Ruin was so intense, burning up the pages. These two stalkers are perfect for each other. He was so sweet, gentle, passionate, and possessive. All I have to say is I LOVED Ruin the book and Ruin the badass. I would definitely recommend this book; you get romance, suspense, and smexy times—what more do you want in a book? Nada!
This author is always amazing. I’ve yet to ever be let down by one of her books, and this one is no exception. I’ve wanted Ruin’s story since we first saw him in Roux and Butcher’s book. Then I wanted him more during Reno’s book. Ruin is Reno’s identical twin brother, and he’s damaged, unhinged, and such a sexy beast of an Enforcer for the club. He doesn’t really speak to anyone (besides Reno and Axel), and has some sexual hang ups stemming from abuse from his older brothers. Aurora comes barreling into his world….but poorly stalking him at a gas station in the middle of the night. What does the man do? He stalks her back. Totally a normal and delicious response. The two of them stalk one another, and it starts something very real and obsessive. They both have a ton of issues to work through, but the smut is top notch and I loved the two of them together. It’s gritty, a little twisted, fun, sweet, and naughty. I can’t recommend this book, series, or author enough!
This couple embodies the saying, the stars can't shine without darkness. Ruin is her rock, her wall, her bodyguard, her monster. He drops everything for her and she looks at him like he hung the moon. I am in love with them both, together they are sheer perfection. I have to share one of my favorite lines from Aurora, she calls him "my monster"! How perfect a nickname for my man Ruin! The affection, the adoration she showers him with is everything. I was so excited for this book and it exceeded all of my expectations! This author will always and forever be one of my most favorite authors. I would probably be completely star struck if I were to meet her. I love her that much, she is brilliant. I wish I could forget this book and reread it all over again like it was brand new. Just sublime!
When Aurora, Rory to her friends, first sees Ruin at the gas station she follows him around, there’s something about him that calls to her, seeing him again when she’s out with her emotional support pig, Leonard, yes you heard right, a pig, she can’t help but follow. Ruin could feel eyes on him, he realises he has a stalker, when they actually talk, yes he talked, she gave him her number and email, what follows is Ruin opening himself up to texting her, this goes on for a few months, then he ends up in hospital in a coma, Rory comes out of her comfort zone to visit but the first time Reno kicks her out of the room not knowing who she is and what to Ruin.
Of course there’s more to this, this is just the beginning of their fabulous story, which I might add is an unputdownable, emotionally charged read that you are going to love, well I did anyway.
I'm a huge fan of this author. She was one of one of my first discoveries since I came back to reading for pleasure and not academia. To say I was excited for this book would be an understatement. I knew Ruin was different than his twin, Reno, but I still wasn't prepared. He was like a baby, Lawless, and I LOVE Lawless with the heat of 10,000 suns. Ruin was quirky and over-the-top but in a good way. I loved Aurora for him. I had my moments where I wanted "something" more from her but I couldn't tell you what that something was. I was just missing that little something for me to fully connect with the story.
However, that doesn't stop this book from being a good and a great addition to this series. The banter between characters and the cameos of old characters made me glad I'd read it and eager for what is to come in the future.
Storyline: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tropes: Red flag hero - stalking romance Angst: 2/5 Spicy/dirty talking: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Character development: 5/5 Epilogue: DEF YES!!! 😍😍😍
Definitely going in my favorite books of 2023 - 10/10 highly recommend Ruin and the rest of the Diablo Disciples MC. I love the closeness of this MC.
I. could. not. put. this. book. down. Guys, I missed sleep so I could finish it. And as soon as it was finished, I wished it wasn't over. Oh, how I love the world this author has developed. Can't wait for more.
✔️Pining, unhinged, red flag hero ✔️Double stalking ✔️She's mine! ✔️Mental health rep ✔️Sweet, plus size, famous heroine ✔️First relationship ✔️Texting frissons ✔️Soft only for her ✔️Biker brotherhood ✔️Dirty spice & first kiss ✔️Twin banter ✔️Murdery antics ✔️ALL THE LOVE. ✔️Touch her and 💀 ❌Cheating or sex scenes with others
1. I didn’t like how long it took Ruin to go see Aurora after he woke up from his coma. 2. For a man who was supposed to be $exually inexperienced (except for b1owjobs), Ruin sure seemed to know what he was doing. 3. I didn’t like that Ruin flatly refused to wear a condom. Especially since he was firmly against having children and birth control was never discussed. 4. “…her opening fluttering in anticipation”; “he continued to saw into her pu$$y”. 🤮🤮🤮 5. After everything that Jensen had done in the previous books, it STILL didn’t occur to them that he might go after the people that matter to Reno and Ruin. 6. “Aurora smiled, knowing he’d snap the world in half until glitter fell out, if that was what she asked for.” Love this! Almost makes up for the fluttering opening and the sawing into her pu$$y.🤣

Ruin is the perfect Enforcer for the Diablo Disciples, intimidating, threatening, gruff, moody and dangerous. He’s a monster who rarely interacts with people, with the exception of his twin brother Reno, they shared a traumatic childhood curtesy of their brother, who is still at large.
One night he discovers he has a stalker, with a pet pig, a very beautiful stalker who is not afraid of him. Instead of finding her a threat, Ruin is intrigued, he turns the tables and begins to stalk her. This is a collision of two damaged souls that mesh together perfectly, she adores her monster and he is so intense, passionate and obsessed.
I loved this book, as well as the tenderness of Ruin and Aurora there are twists, drama, threat and menace.
