This is an enjoyable read, in a fairly old school fantasy kind of way. It is the author's first novel, and self published and this shows through some idiosyncratic prose and some typesetting errors, though this doesn't detract from the overall story. I will be buying the sequel when it comes out!

My partner bought this book from the author in Tenby. I devoured it in a day. Loved the story and characters and can’t wait for the next instalment
